What We Discuss:
00:00 Intro
04:14 When you’re one step away from changing the trajectory of your life
06:37 The difference of stacking one more day to completely change yourself
10:34 If you can survive the temporary, there’s growth at the end of every phase
12:04 Separate yourself from the outcome and just be present in the moment
16:49 “You only understand the power of one day when you’re threatened with never having another one.”
20:47 What’s your ‘one more’ that you’re working on right now?
23:11 “Just don’t quit for one more day and see how it goes.”
27:05 Why should you start doing one more thing to achieve what you think you truly deserve?
30:54 Make it a habit to always ask yourself, “What matters to me now?”
34:08 Don’t discount your own greatness because we all are born to do something great

  • I practice this. When working out, I'm like 10 more reps and end up doing 100. When I'm tired at work, I'm like one more task, and then I sleep fulfilled. It's the secret to happiness as a human being; pushing forward. As for those friends, I STOP them in their tracks. When they start bringing up my past, I'm like, “How can you not see how much I've grown?” And then I go, “Check in with me before giving me old tags”.

I am going to make myself proud and my children. Until last year October I decided to stay away from alcohol just for a day. That 1 day has been more than 6 months for me. It was difficult in the beginning, then festive came and amazing how focused I was on just 1 day at a time. This video is helping me to apply the strategy in other areas of my life. I am so happy I am hear. I listened to this since Friday last week and I am here and ready to go beyond my self imposed limits. Thank you ❤😊

  • Thank you! I’m inspired by both of you! I was in an unhappy marriage for 25 years. When I finally left and had not worked in 20 years it was a scary situation for me! I had three kids as well. I didn’t get a penny and I too had my electricity, gas and water turned off at various times…I sold all my furniture and belongings to keep us afloat… Eventually I lost the home I raised my children in and had to sell my car… Life felt like a mean place to be… After all of that I was angry and down for years! But eventually I scratched my way back up and started working two jobs and I was shocked when I received a scholarship to the writers program at UCLA! It was a blessing! I’m in a better place now…I am a writer and work for myself now as a spiritual coach. I keep going and believing in myself!

In the moment I’m so upset and so mad I can’t walk for almost 4 months. The worst part is I did it to myself driving drunk, thankfully it was just me and my car involeved. I flatlined on the sense and came back. That woke me up and really made me think of the meaning and purpose of life. I look up at god and think he gave me one more chance for my son and wife and myself. Life is so beautiful and it took so much for me to realize it is. This podcast is gold❤ God bless everyone!

So, I’m grateful that I understand both parts of the equation at a deeper level. Healthy VS sick. And because I have the “one more day mentality”, I stared a new nonprofit called “Magical Patterns” where I send art care packages to people that are sick but keep believing in one ☝🏼 more day. Thank you so much I got my answer today. 💎🙏🏼blessings your way

  • This CD has three separate relaxation/meditation sessions on it kzhead.infoUgkxzpa8CIfZcihW4Z0F_ja0QF3W9KIatrsq guided by a very pleasant and direct male voice. Unlike so many other products of its type, this CD does not have bad synthesizer music, does not feature a phony or affected style of narration, and does not make any bogus claims to be subliminal or to re-train the brain or any of that balderdash. What you get is 1. a guided meditation for getting into a pleasantly relaxed state of body awareness while taking a stroll (superb for those easing back into a fitness routine slowly after an illness or injury) 2. A nice long breath-awareness relaxation session that if followed diligently can put you into very deep states of full-body relaxation and mental calmness, and 3. a buddhist-inspired meditation session designed to help you develop and maintain feelings of loving kindness toward not just yourself and your friends, but toward people you don't even like. The CD makes no claims to be designed for advanced meditators or for buddhists or hindus/yoga practitioners looking for very deep and esoteric stuff. It is geared more toward the average person who just wants to develop the habit of relaxation and stress relief through natural, healthy means. him, if you happen to be reading this, keep up the good work fella, and I love your accent. I would also like to note that I have never fallen asleep while listening to this product. I would like to kindly suggest to the reviewer who said this CD makes him fall asleep, that he might want to get checked to see if he has a sleep disorder, or if he is simply not setting aside ample time for restful sleep at night. A healthy person getting adequate rest at night should be able to go into deep states of mental relaxation without dozing off, if not all the time, then most of the time.

I am a nicotine addict, each and every day when I try to quit the reason I fail is I say myself "just one more cigarette" and that 1 cigarette turns into 1000. But ur dad is awesome. He used the statergy in reverse for getting sober. • That was a short but powerful conversation. Talking about expanding time... His energy goes beyond his words. His intentions are purely rooted in greatness. I'm so grateful for this podcast. That's certainly a great book to read and study. 1 more!

  • Sobriety has been the best choice I've ever made. In addition to owning my choices, I finally own my own business. I've had those moments where my kids have seen me cry, and although I didn't express that same thought to them at the time, I got sober for them.

  • Thank you soo much for this conversation because I’ve been through some things that have weighed me down but that part about “you are the most equipped to help your past self” that made me tear up. I’ve been looking for my purpose and I feel like I am meant to help people who were once in my situation. Life is looking up for me, and who ever is reading this just remember you truly can do anything you put your mind to, just imagine it so vividly and then meditate on what it takes to get there then begin implementing it to your life! Success is accessible!

  • 6:45 "You are the most qualified to help people that you used to be" damn that hit me so damn hard, ive been through depression for the past few years and during that time i was able to develop a level of empathy like no other, i can feel other people's pain, then i realize its because i have been there so i know how hard, painful and sad it is, so more than anyone i myself knows their pain so i think that makes me qualified to help them or just listen to their cries.

  • I am Suffering because of my family because they hurt me a lot and I was planning to quit my relationship with them, but when Ed was talking about love, family, and his father, I asked myself what if instead of that being strong enough and trying to help them !
