Today, I sit down with our third time guest, the one and only Dr. Daniel Amen. Dr. Amen is a physician, double board-certified psychiatrist, twelve-time NY Times bestselling author, and founder and CEO of Amen Clinics, with 10 US locations. Dr. Amen is the author of many books including the mega-bestseller Change Your Brain, Change Your Life, as well as The End of Mental Illness, Memory Rescue, Healing ADD and Your Brain Is Always Listening. In March 2022, Tyndale will publish his new book, You, Happier: The 7 Neuroscience Secrets of Feeling Good Based on Your Brain Type.
Dr. Amen emphasizes the importance of our brain health. He explains how taking care of our brain and mental health is a constant daily practice, comparing the things we do to boost our brain health to eating foods that will love our body back, foods that we love to eat and are beneficial to our health. We share our thoughts on why our generation is the unhappiest and uncontented, what we can do to boost our happiness hormones, and how happiness is always tied to our health.
Get more science-based tips from Dr. Amen to achieve a healthier, happier, and more fulfilling life despite the challenges and difficulties we may be going through today.

Not until a friend recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. This is something that really need to be use globally to help people with related health challenges.

  • This CD has three separate relaxation/meditation sessions on it kzhead.infoUgkxzpa8CIfZcihW4Z0F_ja0QF3W9KIatrsq guided by a very pleasant and direct male voice. Unlike so many other products of its type, this CD does not have bad synthesizer music, does not feature a phony or affected style of narration, and does not make any bogus claims to be subliminal or to re-train the brain or any of that balderdash. What you get is 1. a guided meditation for getting into a pleasantly relaxed state of body awareness while taking a stroll (superb for those easing back into a fitness routine slowly after an illness or injury) 2. A nice long breath-awareness relaxation session that if followed diligently can put you into very deep states of full-body relaxation and mental calmness, and 3. a buddhist-inspired meditation session designed to help you develop and maintain feelings of loving kindness toward not just yourself and your friends, but toward people you don't even like. The CD makes no claims to be designed for advanced meditators or for buddhists or hindus/yoga practitioners looking for very deep and esoteric stuff. It is geared more toward the average person who just wants to develop the habit of relaxation and stress relief through natural, healthy means. him, if you happen to be reading this, keep up the good work fella, and I love your accent. I would also like to note that I have never fallen asleep while listening to this product. I would like to kindly suggest to the reviewer who said this CD makes him fall asleep, that he might want to get checked to see if he has a sleep disorder, or if he is simply not setting aside ample time for restful sleep at night. A healthy person getting adequate rest at night should be able to go into deep states of mental relaxation without dozing off, if not all the time, then most of the time.

I started keeping a gratitude journal at night, and it is transformative. I love what he said about habits and the idea of going on a "treasure hunt" each night to notice the good micro-moments of your day. I have also heard the analogy of collecting "flowers" (goodness you notice) throughout your day, and by the end, you have a bouquet! Really good stuff in this interview! Deep diaphragmatic breathing! Gotta do that more! (especially in the midst of stressful day) Love all these nuggets of wisdom. Killing the ANTS (heard him talk about that before) - writing down the negative thought and then asking "Is this true?" then asking if the opposite is true... I want to live in truth! The truth sets me free!

She avoids us unless we give her money. I think her brain is not functioning well but I still love her & forgive her because drug abuse is an illness but I can't have her around the kids. My personality changes & is always guarded when she is around us because I don't trust her. I don't understand how she can choose drugs over family. So glad you know God & His ways & trust Him.❤

But now in the Netherlands he mainly eats Dutch cuisine. In recent years, my friend has been regularly depressed, while he was once a very cheerful person with a big smile on his face. I will tell him about the healing properties of saffron as soon as possible.❤👌🏻
