NextGen is roaring!!!
@bagusdegus72906 жыл бұрын
the "next gen" actually started a couple of years ago. belinda bencic got into the top 10 a couple of years ago as an 18 year old. then last year jelena ostapenko and daria kasatkina started making noise. ostapenko won the french open, but before that kastakina and ostapenko played in the finals at the volvo car open with kasatkina winning. now, naomi osaka is joining in the mix. without a doubt, there is a core of 20 year old players who are ready to take the wta by storm. naomi may be the late bloomer but i like her potential the most. she has the most athletic game of them all.

Maria was her only real competition in the tournament if you look at all the scores from who she played, wasn't even close. But to be the best you have to beat the Best and she did. Well done. Kasi was tired and didn't play aggressive enough IMO. But still a great tournament for her also.

Congrats Osaka.. why was Daria Kasatkina tired????Daria was seeded with a 1st round BYE!!!!Excuses for Daria; she was the most experienced but lack mental strength to hang tough at key times. Morgan Bmgtow she was tired from that marathon match with Venus which was mentally and emotionally and physically draining. They played over 3 hours and you could tell she had no energy nor did she play with any energy not to mention it was a long tournament for her and the pressure was on her to win. With that said, go argue somewhere else to somebody who cares ABOUT your opinion because I don't. Enough said, bye bye.

the "next gen" actually started a couple of years ago. belinda bencic got into the top 10 a couple of years ago as an 18 year old. then last year jelena ostapenko and daria kasatkina started making noise. ostapenko won the french open, but before that kastakina and ostapenko played in the finals at the volvo car open with kasatkina winning. now, naomi osaka is joining in the mix. without a doubt, there is a core of 20 year old players who are ready to take the wta by storm. naomi may be the late bloomer but i like her potential the most. she has the most athletic game of them all.
paper wait couldn't agree more! I also keep tracking these young talents since years ago, seems like they're going to be the future dominator
Congratulations Naomi for your first huge title! What a breakthrough from her! Who would have thought that these two promising young girls, who made together a funny tweener video week ago, that they would meet in one of the prestige finals in tennis! Congrats also to Daria for playing a great tournament! Hopefully they play consistent in the season! Definitely these two young, nice women are representing the future of WTA!
Love Naomi! Great personality. Happy she's rising these days, I hope she keeps it up.
one player who probably is not loving the draw for the miami open is elina svitolina. she is the 4th seeded player in the draw and she plays the winner of the serena/naomi match.
Osaka...the rising Sun
This was a great match up but disappointed how Kasatkina didn’t play to her caliber. They are super talented!!
I think it was Osaka who was not allowing her to play the way she would've wanted.
James Stephan So will any other player with power. Venus will have her rematch and it won't be pretty. Serena will put her in her place too.
Congrats for Osaka you deserve it . Kasatkina must believe no nerves or felt pressure ,you blew it everything all your changes its un like you ,it is what it is SUCCEEDS for both you a heads hope we still see both you a lot in the finals again .
Congratulation Naomi 💎❤️
I came here because the 2X Grand Slam Champion Naomi is so inspiring right now. Her point at 2:37 - 3:00 is crazy.
I hope i can watch the whole 2018 indian wells of osaka. Hoping all full match. Thank you.
Dasha is easily overpowered in another final when she is tired. She has such variety in her game but did not show it today when she fell apart at 3 all of the first set. Congratulations to Naomi her upside is huge just like her game.
Osaka is very solid. She has one of the best forehands I ve ever seen on a female player and her backhand can be deadly as well. I believe she could even challenge Serena at her best, whose power is simply greater than any other WTA player.
Congrats Osaka...you stupid people refuse to look at the facts: you keep making excuses for Daria Kasatkina'' s horrible performance; ass holes are saying she was tired: Daria was seeded; she had a 1st round BYE. Daria"s focus is weak compared to the mentally superior Osaka. Daria beat a weak sick older Venus;....Congrats Osaka.
Well daria is another glorified pusher. Even wozniacki with her boring game is called talented and Osaka is 2 slam champion winning back to back slams and also new world number one
Did you see that? Osaka was so cute at 7:17
Sooo cute 😄
It's America. It could be a gunshot...
Who’s here before they watch Naomi’s final against Serena
wow - that's huge and unexpected from Osaka, to win your first title of any kind at IW is incredible. Definitely huge maturity from her and her game - balancing the shot making with the consistency
She's the reason why I'm a tennis fan and I'm going to watching more and more of it 😍
Kasatkina is so cute!
Osaka is now my favorite. Please keep that level head and tender heart As you go on
Congratulations for winning your first slam ...I see for you a great future...God bless you dear naomi...
Osaka is awesome to watch.. New fan since AO.
osaka really crushed her way through the field at this tournament, players will definitely be paying attention hey
Props to both players . We will see many more finals between this two. Dasha looked so jaded , probably the long match against venus knocked the wind out of her . But take nothing away from osaka , she deserves to be champion.
Osaka's backhand 💪💪💪. 'Who cares' referring to Serena and Venus is sooooo uncalled for. Thts an unfortunate and reckless statement given all they have done for tennis. The commentator should just apologise. Maybe thts why he's just a commentator nt a player 😂😂😂😂😂
He would have never said that about Navertalova or Jennifer Capriati. We all know exactly why he said it.
Naomi's killer forehand
Osaka is a machine and if she keeps this a sure fire no 1.
NAOMI OSAKA IS THE NEW CHAMP SUCK IT UP AND DRIVE ON...
Osaka has some wicked angels....
Naomi Osaka..WOW!
And now she is wta new world number one
It's crazy to me, three years later, 4 gs titles for Osaka later, reading the comments.
Love her...the hard hitter still in
Congratulations Naomi Osaka! Try not to be startled by the fireworks 🎊🎊🤫
I find it interesting how the commentators brought up Venus and Serena but no one else that these two beat en route to the final who are also former champions of this tournament. It is truly remarkable that even when they are no longer in the tournament the Williams sisters names are still on the commentators lips
I'm pretty sure neither sister were bothered by that comment. One of them should have gotten to the final and Venus was beat. The future of the WTA has arrived. And her name is Naomi Osaka.
AttnJack Said everytime a new player reaches a final or wins a tournament. Still waiting...
OK...
@@monica012077 Naomi will win more grand slams than Serena. 24 in 6 years
@@alexjones28 She won't. She's not as talented and doesn't have the game to completely dominate the tour.
@@monica012077 Two Slams and counting... Who's to say, really? I've watched tennis for three decades, and the mental toughness of a Serena, a Monica Seles, and yes, an Osaka, doesn't come along often, but I recognize it when it does. She is every bit as talented and as tenacious as Serena.
LOVE YOU NAO...………...win win win so proud of you.
신인이라고 믿기지 않을 정도로 안정적이네요!! 너무 멋있어요
Congratulations well done 👍🏼
7:17 bahahaha xDD she's such a sweet shy girl off court... ...and on court she displays such power!!! such a crazy contrast.
Go Nana go girl amazing .do you know .give him the glory.
Congrats to Naomi, great tournament. Best of luck in the future and God bless you.
Osaka like Serena goes for her shots with high unforced errors but far more winners. Congrats Osaka....WTA has always been great and it is going to remain great.
Morgan Bmgtow she ain't no Serena, that's her first title of any kind. Serena had plenty of titles by the time she was 20, so tired of the Serena comparisons. This is Osaka's first good tournament this year actually.
good play
Naomi must win GS in this year !
field star she did
She won her 2nd as well ;)

最高。お疲れ様!おめでとう‼︎
Why Osaka makes tennis look so simple to play. Winning straight sets over former world no 1s. Great, future is bright for women's tennis. Hail the name, Naomi Osaka. 👏
i love Osaka she's the best tennis player ever
Naomi Osaka is a future legend and a people's champ.
Excellent! Waiting for you to win the championship in Tokyo tomorrow Naomi 🎾🏆🏆🏆🎉🎉🎉
Quiet n Peaceful Final 😍
Don’t say “who cares?” When referring to Venus or Serena. Not only is it disrespectful, but remember what they have done for the sport and their achievements over the last 2 decades. 30 GS titles between them. They have made tennis more watchable for millions and you should be thankful. What a disrespect. Unsubscribed.
I wud not count a williams out if i was them , they thrive under such negativity by the way .
Jim A so very true. I‘m glad I‘m not the only one who couldn’t believe it. Especially the bluntness of it... hope he chokes on his words. If I was in charge he would be fired for that comment. No need for asshole commentators like that.
Jim A exactly, I just left a message asking the same question, why would he say that? Asshole.
I was about to say the same thing. These people have been waiting for Serena and Venus' decline for a long time. They would never say the same if it was Roger.
Jim A Well said.
Osaka got frighten when she accept the trophy 🤩
Great fight.
This angle placement shots are awesome!! I’m taking notes...congrats Osaka!!
CA2---these blind assholes can't see the timely placement and angles found by Osaka...Congrats girl.
look osaka is a good player coming up but the only thing thats gone stop serena from twenty five is only if she retires all yal haters need to stop bashing the sista cut it out please tennis matches is boring without grunting the announcers need to grunt they boring as hell too
Gracias
Por qué das las gracias en todos los videos, si se puede saber?
Por ser agradecido y poder ver los partidos de las diosas del tenis
Ah... Te tendrían que dar las gracias ellos por verlos, en todo caso.
Wonderful, beautiful play by both 20-year olds. They will soon be Nr. 1 and Nr. 2 in the rankings.
Asian people and younger people have faster reaction time. Combine tha two. She has tha fastest reaction time on tour. Plus her strength. She's tha next goat. Plus models her game after Serena
She’s a Levi Bro! One of the 12 tribes of Israel
Asian+african decent= perfect genes HAHA
her backhand is fenomenal, only thing I can think of to really improve: 2nd serve and (on clay) dropshot.
she reminds me of Hingis because of her court sense, her accuracy, her wrongfooting shots; the difference is that she is a much more powerful player....
Unranked to # 1 OSAKA is so good
Both of them super nice person
NO DOUBT, POWERFUL, STRONG FULL, ATTRACTIVE GAME BY BOTH PLAYERS, BUT WINNER GAME IS SUPER EXTRAORDINARY AND WONDERFUL..................
Wow I love Osaka who is here for Osaka definitely the first Osaka !!!!
Can anyone share the link of women double finals?
Finally, two (young) rising stars in the WTA. I hope Daria Kasatkina would be Osaka's rival in the long run. Similar to the rivalries between Clijters-Henin, Davenport-V.Williams, and the Williams sisters.
Daria is good Player on Clay and delighted to watch it on grass. She has the touch. Naomi player's rivalry will be in my opinion. Aivaa, yastremska. Anisimova. Sabalenka.
I love Osaka.
And congrats Osaka
good video
Очень нравится,как ведёт себя Осака на корте,и очень красиво играет!
She has such a great swing motion.
Naomi was on fire the whole tournament
7:17 funny as hell ..see how she is scared lol
Osaka rhythm is incredible
Great job Osaka!. Want to see how she beats E. Bouchard in near future.
Osaka will be the next champ, she will decrown the old champs with quickness and power hits. If a player can out-think the opponents he or she will win every time.
Fresh faces of finalists...
just when you thought that it couldn't get any better for the wta to have 2 up and coming 20 year olds announce their arrival by playing in the final of a premier event: serena and naomi are playing in the first round at the miami open. you can bet that the match will be televised in prime time.
Waow this Naomi, its only a matter of time until she reach her peak
Great Future
