    • When you compare their playing style. Maybe watch Serena's first grandslam wins to get perspective. There's nothing wrong with the comparison, both are incredibly inspiring women. Also Serena and Venus have been through an ordeal as black women and really paved the way for other women of colour, like Naomi, Even Naomi recognizes that.

I'm actually glad Adidas is a sponsor vs. an American brand that will try to sexualize her or boost her ego and convert her into what Serena is now. I also hope, like most Asian moms, Naomi finds herself a 'nice Asian' boy or some 'normal' kid (regardless of color) who doesn't know anything about Hollywood. That's the best way to stay sane.

Her hero Serena told her she was fantastic! The only bad thing that happened was that she is misunderstood the tennis crowd for a few minutes--- she mistakenly thought she was being booed, but then she quickly learned she was NOT being booed, the umpire was being booed.
