My favourite tail will always be the 1 they made for Daryl Hannah in splash it was simply amazing,these are so so fantastic,works of art,but the realism of hannahs was so believable ,but I'm not taking anything away from these ladies and their sublime work xxx

1. How are the side seams are joined so neatly? We fold the front scale layer over the back piece and we cut around each scales to have a nice look. 2. Don't the pins compromise the strength of the silicone? No pins are really small and the mini hole disappear when you remove them 3. Do they ever pop or rip around the waist or side after repeated sliding in and out of them? Silicone is pretty flexible and stretchable. But you should always be delicate when you get in your tail. Don't use sharp long nails to get into it.

Where do you buy those color powders? Are they special powders for silicone?
Not necessarily for silicone, most of the time it's for painting. You probably can find them in an art craft store. In Canada we have "Omer de serre".
