    • There isn't really any initial pain. You hear a loud pop and then your foot goes a bit numb. I ruptured my Achilles the year after and it is a bitch of an injury because of the constant patience you have to have for it to heal. Imagine a rubber band thats stretched too far and breaks. Now imagine melting the ends back together. It won't be as strong until it cools down and you slowly stretch it until it can withstand being fully stretched out again. One of the worst injuries in sports and all it takes is for the body to have had enough.

So how do you define a 3peat? The only people who say Kobe was carried are Bronsexuals and people who never saw Kobe play during that 3peat

  • I had forgotten how many big hits Kobe had taken this game. Even as a die hard Warriors fan, this was tough to watch when it happened because we knew at his age it would be tough to fully recover and you hate to see it happen to anyone let alone a legend. Everyone knew if there was anyone who could beat the odds it was KB. Kobe was never the same after this and it was the end of his career as a impact superstar. Him sinking those free throws after such a devastating injury is a testament to him competitiveness. There will never be another like him... #RIPMamba #RIPGigi
