  • I remember small craft advisories very well when I was a kid. My father had a small wooden Lyman boat with an inboard four cylinder Atomic gasoline engine. 12 knots top speed! We went fishing a lot on Cape Cod at an area called Horseshoe shoals. When we would heard small craft advisories on the radio we would reel our lines in and head back to shore asap. One time the waves grew before we reached the Bass River inlet where we moored our boat. The waves were maybe three feet and were riding behind us and so it was smooth going...but the fright....well we made it back.

  • Still waiting to get my boat on Lake St Clair, and the Detroit river here in Michigan. I've been watching your videos all winter. Learning a lot as a new boater. Not gonna lie, I used a couple haulover videos (in my local pub) to bring home some trim. Thanks! Wavy Boats!

    @iamgriff@iamgriff3 жыл бұрын
    • What the hell you waiting for? I've been in since the first week in March. Of course, I'm a sailor, and the best winds are either really early, or really late in the season. Also nice that the lake isn't quite as crowded during those times. Especially with the Canadian authorities being pretty strict with border enforcement over the last year, basically cutting the size of St. Clair, in half. Anyway, you're not missing much with the weather we've been having this year. I've yet to spot even one bikini out there as of yet. Let's hope for a little bit more heat, and a whole lot more titties out there as summer approaches.
