WARNING: MAN DROWNING AT HAULOVER INLET! | Boats vs Haulover | Wavy Boats
Man gets sucked out into the middle of Haulover Inlet. We waved down some Haulover Boats to rescue him from drowning. Very thankful that the Yamaha crew responded as quickly as they did. Enjoy the video.

  • About 4 boats passed the man drowning before he finally got help. Would you stop for a man drowning at the inlet? 😳

  • When someone raises their hand in the water and they go under. They are drowning. That was an outstanding pickup with a huge ebb (outgoing) tide. Between the prop, the swimmers condition and the tide. If that's a big fishing boat full of outboards without a swim step in sure he drowns. The blue boat crew deserves a lifesaving award.

Bad spot to be, and to try to swim against.

  • I keep watching this Haulover videos and I can't believe how many people do not wear lifejackets. I guess is better to look cool without wearing and rather risk your life. I don't care how good of a swimmer you are.

  • You should consider getting some clear indicator flags that you can wave to other boats and people. Thank goodness that Yamaha crew saw you waving them towards the person! (Person in water/need rescue, boat capsized, shark)

  • Just found your channel… so engaging, I hate you. I’m so sucked in! Glad the guy was saved. The cluelessness of some of these “captains” is something to behold. I don’t own a boat. I was active duty coast guard for 13 years. Did 2 years at Small Boat Station Cape Disappointment in my early years. I’ve seen some crazy 💩. Salmon season was NO JOKE. You could literally walk jetty to jetty with so many boats out. Have you been to the NW at all?
