I highly doubt this was intentional honestly. Romanov was pulling Perry back and both fell kinda awkwardly. Perry looked like he felt bad after as well. Not to mention they were both teammates a couple years ago.
You don't get to say oops, sorry! when you are reckless with bullshit non-hockey plays. All. The fucking. Time. This ain't new for Perry, he does this shit all the time. You know what you're doing with you lock a guy in and drive his head into the ice dangerously and unprotected. This was after the play, after the whistle. Says all you gotta know right there. Now the Isles are without Romanov, going into the playoffs. Bullshit.
Guy is such a pos, I'm srsly surprised no one on the Isles did anything after this. He hurt someone on the Rangers literally like the next day, too. I think Trouba. Even though I don't like Trouba... still f'ed up on his part. And yes, it was on purpose when you make reckless plays you don't get to say oops, that was an accident!
