  • This is the first time I've noticed you using a power screed. It sure makes sense on a job this big.

  • Hanging that power trowel in the corner was brilliant. You know the pour is huge when you see the power screed and power trowel on deck!! I was surprised to hear one of the hose plugs was from the previous day. How did that get left in there?! It really looked like the pour went well. Your crew always makes the job look easy. It was no easy task cutting and washing that 50 yard pour, yet you handled it by yourself. Kudos!! I hope you and Donna enjoy your trip. Sounds like a lot of fun. Thanks for today's video. Always good stuff!!👍❤️🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸

  • That's very unusual that the building has no rear door, especially as such a long building, at least a fire escape requirements. 😮.

  • I’m surprised Tom you dont have safety caps on your pins on the big pours and with so many guys movin around. Man that guy tripped, which is so easy to do..

    @BZ1340@BZ1340Ай бұрын
    • I've ripped the side of my foot open on rebar even with safety caps. And, did a headstand into a wheelbarrow full of concrete when a ramp collapsed. It is impossible to prevent every possible hazard, so avoiding serious injuries is the best you can hope for.

  • Great Video Tom, 50 cuyds, that was a smooth job, i think i counted 9 men, it was amazing coordination and everyone new what to do. Enjoyed it, and explaining about the lip edge coming in the door will help lots of folks. I like the drain box you guys install, looks nice and is probably really efficient at getting the liquids out. Thanks btw your "editing crew" lol is great, the videos flow as good and fast as a 8 " slump :) kudos

  • Morning Tom, I'll say this right off. That power screed sure seemed like it would be a whole lot easier on a person's back. Who am I too argue with manual labor though 😂😂 When your employee took a nose dive I thought, I'm pretty sure Tom doesn't allow drinking on the job😊 To say I'm super jealous of the owner of that building is an understatement. Talk about a really nice woodworking shop. To heck with motor homes or whatever he's putting in it. That's my suggestion to him😂😂😂

  • Tom that's how we do all our overhead garage drop off at 3/4" so much nicer than the 1 1/2". Your customers will like that a lot better especially the residential ones with smaller vehicles. Here in Michigan for floor like that we rent a Telebelt conveyor instead of a pumper. They are a lot better in my opinion.

  • I use ghost shield but then I also use bowling alley or butchers wax and buff it out after I seal it and I get the clear not the Amber wax. Wax gets very hard buffing
