  • Can you tell Jim he has an admirer from Australia. Anyone his age and still working with concrete has my admiration. And Tom doesnt do too bad either. Show them young bucks about work ethics.. Many thanks .

    • Yea, it's great. I was working for a general contractor my last 4 years begore retirement. One of the "kids" 1/2 my age and I were talking 1 day. He said, Ron, you keep up with us as well as any one and you're in better shape than my dad who is younger than you. I thanked him and said I guess I'm just lucky. Started working at the age of 10 and never stopped. Is it luck or just a work ethic that is disappearing in kids today???

  • Like the way it turned out, the darker border complements the dark brick stripe.

  • Can't figure out how Victory has so many more subscribers with the level of difficulty in your projects compared to theirs. Apparently you and your crew are so proficient at what you do that it makes it less interesting. Having done concrete work for 30+ years it's a pleasure watching your videos.

    • People want to be entertained, Ryan is an entertainer and a micromanager. His crew doesn’t have the level of workers that the Hauses have cultivated, same type of work but totally different galaxies

    • It’s a show, characters, a variety of workers skills, Hispanic viewership. It’s really two different operations. Love both channel’s. Tom and crew really has top notch work.

    • Victory is more personal, and it goes deeper into the crew imo. I can't think of the right word. Wholesome? Concrete with the Hauses is great too.

  • Tom, I don't think your guys worry about peer pressure, they are more interested in getting the job done and seeing the finished results.

  • Tom - I know a thing or two about construction. I'll bet there are no concrete companies in your area that care more about customer satisfaction than you and your team! Customers can't help but recommend you to friends and family!!

  • Nice job as always. Thank for always explaining products and methods of use. I feel like kids today have it super easy when they could just look at a KZhead video and get an idea at least if mechanically inclined how to do it.

  • 1st off----closing in on 60k subs. I believe someone, un-named of course, mentioned slow and steady a couple of years ago. I still believe this. Good steady growth is an indicator of solid viewers---CONGRATS!! I'm guessing a viewer is going to be fair, but tough to impress because we know your work and EXPECT nothing but the best from TSH. Why would they not??? Next and perhaps the most important item. The individual that left the scoop inside the coloring that caused the boss to get his hand dirty would sure be on my short list☠️☠️. I would do a full scale investigation into finding out the culprits identity and probably show him the door😅😅. This act of treason against you needs to be addressed and not like a Congressional finding either😢😢. Of course this is up to your discretion and I/we will respect the decision of the court.😅 Oher than that, a top notch job as always. That color combination along with the heavy texture is gorgeous. Nice job. Grab a sip of coffee and we'll see you on the next job. Hope this rain starts to lessen. Ron

  • Nice jobs Tom. Your matts would have bee a dream back in my day. The matts we used were about 1-1/4" Thick green hard wood matts about 8' long near 3' wide three runners and cross boards on top. These were used for the Concrete Mixers to back up to the "muddy" jobs here in the marshy lands of SE Texas and South West Louisiana - heavy even before full of mud. Finally we got a jeep with a boom snout to help pull the matts out of the mud. Took 2 -4 good men to pick them up.. As you know 1 cuyd of 5sack mix weighs about 4,000 Pounds and 8 yd to 10 yard trucks weighs around 32-40,000 pounds. Matts were a B to get out of the mud.. Love that stone front, makes the job stand out. Would your matts would hold a mixer ??
