  • That wood plank always finishes nice. Both of the seal jobs looked great. Color, and everything involved.

  • I remember 60 years ago climbing into my grandfather’s truck to “help” deliver and hook up bottled LP gas. Something I’ll never forget.

  • Tom, that wood plank design looks like wood instead of concrete and it looks amazing with the stamped border, but all of your jobs are first class and that shows the professional touch on all of your jobs.

  • Training Caleb to be the 3rd generation Haus doing concrete. Can you imagine the products he will have available by then? As soon as i saw the "temporary " steps and landing I yelled modular or pre-manufactured home. Use to set and finish them for a guy in town. Hated everyone of them 😢😢. The vinyl siding, roof pitch, windows and door placement, everything the same. I wish the homeowner good luck 😢😢. Boy you were really jumping around today. That elevated porch/patio would be interesting to see all complete. Hope you might have time to video a short segment, provided its fairly close to base.

  • I much prefer concrete patios over wood decks. But with the grade of that particular house, they should have went with a deck.

    @maga5381@maga538113 күн бұрын
    • In that situation, definitely yes, but an alternative would be to make a much larger patio with multiple levels to accomdate any necessary steps while keeping the actual patio space the same size.

  • I really felt like it was too high at the gate. Yes, it would have been nice to have no steps at all, but the land is just too low. Really, no choice. The wood stamp, sawed planks, is my favorite. The best of two worlds!! The durability and life of concrete, and the beauty of rough sawn planking. Man, I do love that look!! It's no harder to keep clean that broomed. We just saw a leaf blower do the job perfectly. The rolled slate is nice, but I would just have to have the plank, most definitely. I promise you if I lived in your area, I'd be saving for a huge deck, stamped w the rough cut plank, a broken stone edge and a border, maybe rough stone. Then I'd have a great big adjustable rollout canopy over it. Also, a nice grilling area w concrete countertops. If only.....! I never knew there was such beauty in concrete until I found your channel. I can see none of that in my area in the foothills of North Carolina. I did see a map of the U.S. yesterday w lots of red areas all over the country, lots of it on NC, indicating land purchased and owned by China! The destruction of America is really happening. Maybe I won't live long enough to...! TSH is awesome, thanks for sharing.👍❤️🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸
