I can't wait to start playing cloud games at 1080p and 60hz on this monitor! Thanks Samsung for including the Hub thing!
16:9
Disney and Prime Video support full screen mode on 21:9 OLED G8, so the streaming apps could be also. But somebody has to implement it :)
Can’t tell if sarcasm
@@claudemartin7785 32:9 Newer games are catching up to this idea but if you want to play anything older well growing pains/mods Frustrations. But I still like it. Not sure about the whole built in TV app thing seems kind of overkill or just a gimmick.
Just beautiful
Lo pondré en mi carrito de compras... 240hz y OLED.... fantástico!!
Breathtaking
I really want this now
Really hoping for an OLED G8 2nd Generation, 240Hz QHD+ QD-OLED has to be the sweet spot
I purchased the monitor 2 days ago, is it normal for the lower part where the menu button is located to reach high temperatures, almost enough to burn the hand?
I can't wait for July!
Great technology ...
This is insane
Marketing is getting so much better. It is about time that people see how Samsung produces quality products in multiple areas. Good job and keep going.
That’s GOOD work
Keep innovating Samsung
I'm crying because I want this and I have to choose between this and running AC this summer.
excellent monitor. But what if I don't use Amd and I use Nvidia, do I have any limitations?
My God so nice.
Been using CRG9 for a while now, 49 inch 32:9 aspect ratio is something you can never go back from. I"m a developer so I don"t really need much of a refresh rate. But would definitely get this baby if it won"t cost an arm and a leg. Which it probably will lol.
CRG90 is an absolute monster. Still one of the best. Sadly my cat destroyed mine so i switched to the G9 neo. Both are amazing
Another Dev here interested in CRG9. How is text on it? How about dark mode during daytime in a bright room?
@zainahmed5320 dark mode in windows you mean? The monitor is really bright, but it is curved and sunlight will reflect. But almost all monitors have that. The monitor doesn't really have a downside beside the horrible local dimming and HDR (at least for a HDR1000 monitor)
Looks like it's retailing at around 2100 with a 250 discount from Samsung if you preorder.
@@AliKhan513 got mine around 800 usd
I own the Neo Qled G9, and I would love to upgrade but only if it had the same curve as my current G9
exactly. Its 1800 curve. I wish its 1000r curve.
Not sure if I should do the pre-order or wait to see the reviews.
I would love get one of these
Better save up
Like the base of my G9 NEO better, wonder if I can use it on this?
Super❤
Love this!! I will buy..
🔥🔥🔥
It's all funny, of course, but I'm an ordinary person and 32:9 is too wide for me. I would like to finally see a really worthwhile 21:9 model with a resolution of 5120x2160, 240Hz, 38 inches and a bend radius similar to 34 inches in 1800R
Indeed, this is the true dream. 32:9 is pointlessly wide. It doesn't utilize height properly. 21:9 @ 38 inch is the most optimal setup.
@@Navhkrin Yeah that's going to be true for some people. But also people are going to love this product specs as well. Just a thought.
@@tafb94force29 21:9 is much more preferred in general over 32:9
It all depends on what you are going to use it for. For gaming and media 21:9 is enough. For productivity I can't go back to a less wider option. The conviniency of having four full size windows side by side in work use is so useful. With the curve bringing the sides closer so it's easier to read the text. As an all arounder option G9 does the job of almost three monitors and also backs up as an awesome gaming/media monitor. Purely for media and gaming I'd go with standard oled tv or 21:9 oled monitor.
True, 21:9 is enough for me too in general usage and gaming too.
My dream gaming
I have the Samsung Odyssey G9 (the original) and the CRG9 (a non-gaming version of the 49" monitors). Both great displays. I'd be interested in trying out the OLED one but my budget is tight right now 🤣
Same i got the neo g9 and i might get this one
sell 1 or both for the this new guy bro, lol
You have it nor not? Make up your mind.
when this will be released
It's Mesmerising . Nice Samsung
Esplêndido, top
I'd love a 32 inch, 240hz, 4k version of this
They have a 34” model called the Odyssey G8 OLED. I’m not sure of the resolution
@@davidcrosthwaite 4k
no black version and no DisplayPort 2.1? are we still in 2016? I'll be waiting on MSI's version to have it be at least darker in color. If the panel can be pitch black I'd want the chassi to reflect the same.
SAMSUNG G9 CAN CAN PLEASE
PHENOMENAL DISPLAY
Hello, I purchased this beast 2 days back. I have MBP MaxM1Silicon. Will CallDigit TS4 render from M1 Max to this Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 G95SC 2023 49inch " Or I need a usb c to Display port also 🤔. Pls. advise I am not able use the monitor in correct sense it is just standin my on desk.🙄
Nice
Watching this on my Odyssey G9 💜 .
same bro
Niiiiiiiiiice
Hi, will it support nvidia g sync?
Looks amazing, but once they have 240hz oled in a standard ultrawide, i'm definitely buying!
same, need 34 or 38(preferably) before i but a 240hz oled.
well it can do 240hz so... buy it
@@dermf9 this isn’t standard ultrawide
And at higher resolution. All those pixels to the very edges of the screen are wasted, they could have made a 1600p ultrawide with 21:9 ratio.
you obviously haven't tried 4k oled.. 1440p is ridiculous 🤮🤮
Any chance of knowing the song from this video? In particular 1:47?
If they release a G-Sync ultimate version of this i would buy it
I was on the same fence but apparently you can still enable gsync through the nvidia control panel. It's just not 'official'. Just ordered mine and will report back on the performance of this since I couldnt find alot of info online about it.
G Sync works flawlessly. 4090 tuf. Enables in Nvidia control panel just like normal.
THANKS FOR INFO@@teemohnay
Anyone know if a 7900xtx will have any trouble handling this monitor?
Hello, I have Mac mbp Max M1. Will CallDigit TS4 render from M1 Max to Monitor Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 G95SC 2023 49inc ", Or which thunderbolt 4 to Display port is required.
I have the LG 42 C2 its the Best ❤️
I am a little confused which one to take Odyssey g9 or g9 Neo.
It's terrible how I can't preorder it even though all adverts said preorder from June 12. Customer service told me preorder ended June 11. What's that?
Why no 1000R curve ? 😢
I wish i could buy it ❤😢🎉
Brokie
I got the G8 OLED, best monitor I ever had. G9 OLED is too big for me, but I'm sure it's amazing!
Could you please tell me if the native streaming apps (Netflix, Disney, etc) support the ultrawide monitor properly? This should mean no / very small black bars when viewing most film content since the ultrawide dimensions should roughly match. I really need to know because this is gonna make or break the purchase for me and I can't find any reviews mentioning it!!
@@nikolaivii5766 I never watch netflix or other streaming sites on my G8, I have the CX 65inch for that but sure I can try tomorrow and let you know about that :)
@@nikolaivii5766 you can use a extension to make movies or shows with black bars fit almost perfectly to the screen, you will loose like the tiniest amount of video but not enough to matter
@@nikolaivii5766 There are extensions but tbh I recommend using 32:9 for Gaming or Production only. I have a Projector that I use for Movies/Content.
@@nikolaivii5766 sadly you will have black bars or sometimes it crops it to the middle of the screen. This was with movies i tested with apple tv. The monitor is worth it though. Hdr in games has so much impact.
WOW
No g sync option?
Can you actually use Adaptive Sync when in 240hz mode or do you have to limit it to 120 like with the original G9? Scamsungs firmware/QC should be illegal.
Scamsung?! 😂 I haven't hear that one before. Lol
Samsung is the my favourite company in the world
Gaming aside, this would be amazing for editors too
21:9 4k ultrawide OLED 240hz please, or 32" 16:9 4k 240hz OLED
nice
why did they take some of the curve out of it???? i have previous generation. i couldnt imagine it without the 1800R curve it comes with.
Am considering an upgrade from the G9 Neo. Wish this is 1000R though, 1800R for a 32:9 feels like a downgrade and counter to the immersion factor. Also hoping Samsung did the QA and this does not have the flicker, scanlines and huge heat glare from the center of the screen that the G9 Neo has.
I woudnt do it. I have a 1000R G9 myself, still fighting with the flickering. I would wait until an adequate replacement comes out
I got the g9 but I don't think it's fully worth it
g9 gday
Samsung Odyssey лучшие мониторы в индустрии !! 🔥🔥🔥
How can I enter the giveaway?
Does anyone know why the screen is fuzzy? The contexts and all the icons are seemly blurry and my eyes get really tired from the screen.
No gsync?
It's QD-OLED or OLED Panel?
I AM IN NOW OLED SAMSUNG 😎💥💥💥💥💥
Anyone know if this will work with the 2023 MacBook Pro M2 Max?
Whats it like for productivity and coding? The alienware oleds have that weird sub pixel layout in windows, if samsung have fixed that im buying this.
lol samsung been using pentile matrix for more than a decade , i dnt think they'd let it go
I"m a web developer and loving it. Being able to have a wide wide IDE along with browser and console in a single display is awesome. I got CRG9, I would say It"s enough for my use case but this baby looks great too. I am using with a M2 Air.
Samsung ❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Has thunderbolt ?
when is this lauching in india? and please don't keep the pricing too high
smart monitor
How much is it?
When is this released? Please, dear Samsung, don't take too long to release the Samsung Odyssey OLED g9
I saw taiwanese youtubes already start owned it
Pre order ends on like the 27th or something so that's typically the release date.
Will there be a G sync version?
Please add VESA support
what is with this new details enhancing AI chip , want to know more about it
I hope for 32 inch curved glossy oled monitor.
Imagine something like ULMB 2 or Dyac+ on a monitor like this 😩
it just imagination because it doesn't make sense because those technology usually for pros, which don't play on these monitors
@@quanghoang4342 Don’t know why they don’t maybe they would consider it more nowadays if these had the same technology as those 24-27inch monitors.
0.03 response and 240hrz... You dont really need ulmb2..
@@claudemartin7785Maybe you’re right but apparently ULBM 2 and Dyac+ (at least on the 66K) have better motion clarity though.
Waiting for the 32" 4K 240Hz with 480Hz DFR that's what we need!
perfect monitor is 32in oled 4k 240 with gsync
@@bazz1551 same spec but 38-40" 5120x2160 would be brilliant.
@@Danne980is there anything out there?
@@NuanDaa not that I know of. I think 1440 it to little resolution in height. There are 5120x2160 screens but they are limited to 75 or 60hz.
Samsung is making you buy more of its products by making many phones and products like Samsung phones series j and s and A plus they do fridges fans......... They do all kinds products! Even TVs! Vaccums ! I can't wait for a samsung console in the future!
they even make tanks, cars, building. Samsung is mega big if you know it.

Samsung does know what and how to manufacture
G7? Make 27" or 32"
Will it support G-sync later on?
Mine arrived yesterday and i have Gsync Settings on , cant say for sure if its working correctly but it runs buttersmoth with no tearing, no matter if fps droping a little. Im using a Nvidia card.
@@christianb9984 I got mine days ago but I experience black screen and glitches when I enable g-sync with window and full screen, it seems to go away if I only enable it in full screen
I have to check my Settings when im at home. Im pretty sure i have Windows and Fullscreen enabled. Did you enable Vrr in the G9 Picturesettings?
Watching this from a Samsung Odyssey G9 Old Version (VA Panel) 😅
G sync no?
Nvidia G-Sync compatible?????
Samsung is peak amazing and gets us folks
Just make the same monitor with a G-Sync ULTIMATE module inside... Is it that hard?
why who cares about gsync ultimate anymore? I owned multiple monitors with freesync - currently a freesync premium pro monitor with an rtx 4080 - not a single issue with vrr enabled.
why it is not a gsync??????
Best company ever
maybe they can get hdr working properly this time
Finally a glossy OLED monitor. Now give us a smaller flat 16:9 version of that.
Is it a glossy? Comments on other channels giving a preview say it is a matte.
How many dead pixels will it come with new?
Im not into 21:9 or even 32:9 Just give a OLED with 4K, 16:9, 144HZ or 240HZ in 31.5" that's all I need.
All we need is a "4K" monitors 32in or 34in QD 2nd Gen and support G-Sync Ultimate this is not acceptable from company like samsung
🥰🥰🥰🥰
😱
HDR 400... erm isn't this a bit of a downgrade? I understand that OLED produces greater contrast but that seems somewhat disappointing. Would consider an upgrade to my Neo G9 if it was higher.
Must be true black 400
