i hate being a woman

jk i love it too
this one’s 4 mark
update: this is getting a lot of views rn, i made this in class for a 50 second project on something i feel strongly about, so the sound isn't great and i couldn't include everything i wanted to into that time, its nice to see the positive comments but some people don't get that this is not a gender competition and i understand that men face issues too. but don't undermine the women or sensible people in my comments who are relating to this approach.

God forbid I talk about this to any male figure in my life, they'll just try to defend themselves but they won't listen. I'm so proud of being a woman. I love myself. But god does it make me feel horrible when people just don't understand and I feel alone.

Women are just as responsible for such, a lot of the things women care about men actually don't so it's you pressing this kind of stuff on each other. And let me make it clear I'M NOT SAYING THAN MEN ARE NOT TO BLAME, we totally are guilty of a lot of bad stuff, actions and attitudes. But society is dependent on both sexes, pretending that only men make the running decisions in general is idiotic and a way to not have an inward look on women yourselves. Besides the fact it's misogynistic in on itself 😂 like you gals complain about everything depending on men yet you make it be so.

Men go through things women will never fully understand and that's because men don't cry about it. Some men do cry about things but we tend to liken them to women. Anyway, a woman can tell a man 'to be a man' but a man nowadays cannot tell a woman 'to be a lady'. So let's except the world is a cold place regardless of what gender u are.

  • Life is hard for men and women, but we are in it together, people need to stop competing with the other sex. You need to identify the pain points in your life and address them. No matter how hard it is in the moment it can always get better if you dedicate time to dealing with the problems in your life one at a time. Yes, sometimes you have to adhere to societal standards if you want to be liked- that is an unfortunate reality everyone faces regardless of sex. The best you can do is have your own standards and try your best to adhere to the standards of the people you want to coexist with.

I'm supposed to talk a certain way and like certain things. I must put myself in danger to protect the fairer sex, who in modern times, would only resent any sacrifice I make. God forbid I bring it up to Anyone, man or women. I'm just told to man up push through it, and make myself useful or get out. As a man, I know that I am disposable. It takes many women to continue the species, but only a few men. If there is war, I can be drafted and forced into the military to go hurt people that politicians say I should. Someone thinking less of you can do more than just hurt your feelings… What if an employer thinks less of you? What if you are forever behind people at your similar skill level because people dismiss you, because people don’t see women in those jobs often so they don’t consider it a possibility? What if they take advantage of you? What if you genuinely are not safe in your environment because of your gender? All of this may sound ‘woke,’ but it’s the reality of all women. There are fundamental differences in how you are required to live between men and women that are very difficult to understand unless you’ve seen both sides. I encourage you to ask a woman in your life about the steps they’ve had to take to stay safe. It’s never as simple as just “be happy with what you have” because that doesn’t benefit anybody but those who hold the power already. Things shouldn’t be like this.

I get being angry or sad at times for the cards you were dealt with in regards to your gender, but the anger should disappear quickly once you realize your problems are not uniquely bad. That is what 'having perspective' means. Here is a life hack: when you think things are bad, always ask yourself "compared to what?".
