If I was Ariana grande I would say u know two decisions that I can not live with out slapping u r not.
Wonderland what a bad interview anyway, what kind of generic ass question is that to ask to one of the worlds most famous Celebrities
They do it because it's outrageous and ridiculous and it got everyone to watch that interview. If they asked some respectful boring question then they might not have gotten the views. It's deliberately scummy, I promise.
Wonderland I agree. What makes him think he has the right to treat her stereotypical and when she says she’s not like that he turned what she said against her?
Ariana standing up and saying something in a room full of men is truly so courageous and admirable

As a guy, the one that hit me as most ridiculous was Serena being asked to give a twirl at a tennis tournament. I've never heard a male athlete asked to "give a twirl." Wtf? Don't ask a pro athlete to give a twirl. Ask them about their preparation for the competition, or their strategy, or their odds. Serena is a legend. It's rude to reduce her to her incredible level of fitness.
That was Canadian tennis player Genie Bouchard, not Serena Williams. And she actually enjoyed having that 5 second break from talking about tennis. She said in an interview that she was not offended at all. He said he just wanted her to feel pretty in her new outfit so he gave her a moment of fashion bliss.

It is stupid because a decent man CAN be feminist. exactly like there are so many decent men out there that stick up for women and play a massive role in feminism but the majority of feminists are women because if we 'aren't allowed' to be feminists because we have boobs then who's gonna do it because all the men aren't going to because they just sit down all day and watch us trying to get equal rights when that should be mandatory already

Actually love this compilation. It makes me think, reflect and want to fight the good fight. Yes, it’s about giving women/people equal rights to be what they want to be. Not to shame those who like wearing high heels or show flesh.
I love how Anne whispered the "are u trying to fit into a cat suit?" part 😂
...and "We have to talk about that" priceless. But she and Scarlett should get their suits and stuff those misogynists in it.
"Are you trying to lose weight ?" I'm literally ded 💀☠
That was such a savage answer. Love her
I love her
ladymarano sg love her. Such a lady when being put into a annoying spot and STILL BEING A LADY and not acting out like I WOULD
“We have to stop tearing each other down”- Taylor Swift. YAH GURL
What kind of question was 3:53?? Like what did you think you would get out of an actor by asking that question lol. Glad Tom Hardy handled it the way he did.
OH MY GOD WHEN ANNE REVERSED THE SITUATION JEEZUS THAT WAS BRILLIANT
That was awesome
she was a boss and now i stan her. just for that one comment
“Smiling doesn’t win you gold medals” 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏼👏🏼👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
I love the diversity of th clapping!🥰
yes!
Potatoes Are Life lol thx
Lol thx for liking my comment everyone 💕

I’m a swiftie, and I love Taylor swift. It always irritates me when people say all her song are about her exes. Like bro her most famous song isn’t even a breakup song. Majority of songs are about lovers/exes. The emotions evoked from those people enhance the lyrical value to the song, making it better. Personally, Taylor is a lyrical genius. You guys should see what she says about mad woman in the folklore long pond studio. It really brings insight about the topic of sexism and I love how she talked about it.
I love Anne's answer in the interviews, she's so smart and so creative in turning the question against the interviewer
4:55 this dude’s question to Anne is so victim blamey. “What’s the lesson learned” when someone takes an inappropriate photo of you w/o consent. Why ask HER what’s the lesson learned? She didn’t do anything wrong. Is there some lesson to learn when you’re minding your own business and someone violates you like that. Jesus
Her response was so intelligent and well articulated. And it really is shocking that he'd ask that while promoted Les Mis considering the way Fantine is also forced into being sexualised to a much more extreme extent. Imagine asking "hey, Fantine, you've had no choice but to turn to prostitution because of your incredibly classist and misogynistic society, what's the lesson learned?"
IKR LIKE WHAT??? WHAT LESSON WOULD BE LEARNED FROM THAT WTF??
Oh thank God I was looking for this comment
RIGHT
Just look up the interviewer, Matt laure was discovered to be a creep and predator. When you see the other things he's done, it's not surprising to see how he would victim blame.
"I'm sorry that we live in a culture that commodifies sexuality of unwilling participants"
I wish she had called him out more and been like “I’m sorry that someone sexually harassed me and took unsolicited nude photos of me without my permission”
Just to let you guys know, the guy interviewing Anne Hathaway is the guy who got fired for sexual harassment from NBC
It’s so unfair that Taylor received and STILL receives comments like “she only writes songs about her exes”
Well, she technically does write mostly songs about her past relationships. I think many people who say that mean it in a way like: "I don't really like her music because it's always about her exes".
@@sturmfrei5853 note that I said “only” in my statement. I’m criticising the people who say she “always” writes songs about her exes (which is obviously false). You may think that she mostly writes songs about her past relationships, but I would have to disagree with you. I would say that some songs definitely are, but certainly not most. There are plenty of counterexamples. E.g. most of folklore, evermore, lover, reputation and midnights (her most recent 5 albums), the lucky one, Ronan, starlight, superstar, I’m only me when I’m with you, the best day, welcome to New York, New Romantics, bad blood, blank space, clean, shake it off, message in a bottle, untouchable, YBWM, long live, enchanted, Mary’s song, tied together with a smile, the outside, a place in this world… are not about her exes. There are many more examples, but I don’t wanna list them all lol, it would take me days
In my opinion you can either be a feminist or a sexist. There's no in between.
THANK YOU
I choose to be sexist
@@jakebradford4272 Congrats you're an incel than😃
Yeah, keep living in your black and white world.
"What is your favourite position?" "C.E.O." DAMN, I love this.
Maariyah Kureshi butt that's only if he's into that.
It was really beautiful how she said it too.
Kitten Mittens no Lauren owns her own company of products so she is a ceo. :) no permission we aren’t dogs.
i am still devastated from that
Maariyah Kureshi I didn’t understand that 🤷🏼♀️😂
Wait I never realized the guy who asked Scarlett about her underwear was the same guy who asked Anne Hathaway about the cat suit thing oh man
Pretty sure he doesn't work for Extra anymore. What a goof
Knowing about #MeTooMovement, he probably get that.
sis when Anne Hathaway was like "are you trying to fit into a catsuit?" i died 😂😂
Lucie FiveMix OMG NOOOOO
I noticed that right away I was like “ah man he’s back” 😂
Damn Anne Hathaway DESTROYED that interviewer in the most classy way
Massive respect for all these powerful women who have to deal with this awful double standard! These are the queens that are gonna make a positive effect on generations to come! (With an exception to Katy dissing Taylor, women don't hurt other women. That's not ok. However what she said after was period.)
"smiling doesn't win you gold medals" slap that on t-shirt and sell it.
blagaboo1 I don’t really understand how that was a feminist thing. Honestly it’s just polite to smile when you get a compliment to show appreciation, regardless of gender
SillyRamen You know damn well he wouldn’t have criticized a man for not smiling. Women are constantly being policed in the ways they react and show emotion; being told to smile is just an extension of that. The idea that women should have to smile - even when they don’t want to - just to appease other people (men in most cases) is stupid and just another way for men to (1) invalidate the emotions of women and (2) guilt them into doing things they don’t want to do.
@@kmbeautyandmore4292 Wow, I think you are trying WAY too hard to be mad at this.I do know damn well he would have ASKED a man why they didn't smile after being given a compliment. Smiling after being given a compliment is NOT gender specific, nor is it specific to anyone. Smiling in happiness is biological and universally understood as such in any society. And no one is POLICING women how they show their emotion in this clip. Literally anyone would wonder why someone (male or female) didn't show any happiness after people praised them. It's not to "appease" anyone, its a natural reaction when you are happy. So when people see you don't show any form of being happy in a situation you are expected to be happy in, then people wonder if you are upset, or don't care instead. Again... REGARDLESS OF GENDER. And how the hell does this invalidate the emotions of women? And how the hell was this interpreted as a MAN trying to guilt a WOMAN into doing anything? (maybe guilt was a goal, but how do you know a woman wouldn't have said the same thing? Cause not showing appreciation when complimented is rude. Again regardless of gender) And how the hell did any of this clip strike you as a girl being targeted because of her gender in order for a man to feel some sort of power over her? Nothing was sexist in that clip, you are pulling at strings.
@@SillyRamen No we are standing up for human rights unlike you. Get it right
@@kmbeautyandmore4292 I'm going to sub to you, and I 💯 agree with this comment. Couldn't agree more.
I dont know what scarlett ever did to deserve all these creepy interviewers
Be a woman lmao
@@tori4770 And being a beauty also gets that kind of questioning.
@@zaynes5094 yes , that's true
@@zaynes5094 but men don't usually get asked such questions, I say usually because there are always creeps who are creepy to guys too
@@tori4770 exactly
It's really refreshing when I see fellow guys stand up for women.
0:38 This is so true, it's sad. I love that people do share their experiences through their music, but so many people hate on women doing so, which makes it pretty clear for me to know which people to avoid
'How are you managing a career & raising a child?' Keira ; 'Are you going to ask a man that?' Keira Knightely is such an underrated feminist
@Angelo Wilson you've got to stop exagerating things
@Ludimeel Sorbo she said it jokingly not to insult the journalist. But her question is deep, you will never hear a working man being asked that, let's normalize asking them
Ludimeel Sorbo you literally never will hear a man asked that question.
Question was about the bad conditions for women in sexist society and how she deals with the bad treatment of single mothers. As a star, she can probably afford having hired help raise her child.
Ludimeel Sorbo yeah actually it does lol if a man wouldn’t be asked it then it is sexist. No one seems to question if it’s difficult for a man to have kids and work but they always do with women. I have a friend who admitted to me that he got a job over a more qualified woman because ‘he had more time available to him’ even though I would guess they never asked that women if she had the time to devote to the promotion.
Don’t forget about the time Ari was in a car and she said “I’m not big Sean’s ex, I’m not nialls possible new gf, I’m Ariana Grande and if that’s not interesting enough, don’t talk to me.”
LOVE that.
Savage!!!!!! Iconic!!!!!
THE NIALL PART
People called her Niall's new.... Gf??? That's weird... And honestly, I never saw her as as big Sean's ex, never even knew about it... Similar with Taylor and Selena, who I have recently learnt about. I also, knew Gigi Hadid's name, but Zayn.... Only heard it once or smth, that too I didn't know what context
Literally a queen moment 👑👑👑
Damn straight! All of these women really know who they are and how to stand up for themselves. I am proud and honored to be living in the same time as so many GREAT feminists
Over years I realized if they're gonna call me a b*tch for getting what I want or being myself, they can do it, 'cause I don't care 'bout what people will think of me, anymore. Isn't this draining constantly trynna meet someone's expectations about you? That's what I asked myself not a while ago. As Taylor Swift said in one of her songs " I'm so sick of running ad fast as I can wondering if I'd get there quicker if I was a man".
“Im sorry we live in a culture that commodifies sexuality of unwilling participants “ SAY IT LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK
All of the responses were fantastic but that was probably the best one! I had to replay that clip a few times because it was such an impactful and accurate response.
Sadly it’s still happening in South Korea with hidden cameras in BBC documentary
If you're talking about the UK and the US, who unwillingly participates?
she's so smart i love her so much i can't believe there was a hate train on her back in 2010s.. people hate autonomous women 4:52
