The Sonic Movie universe has expanded with the new Knuckles series recently releasing on Paraount Plus, and well, this was dissapointing...
After watching all 6 episodes, it surprised me how dissapointing the Knuckles show was.
Knuckles? more like No-ckles, because Knuckles isn't the main character in the Knuckles show, strange isn't it?

They’re trying to save up for the 3rd movie ofc they weren’t going to use everything on the series but it was pretty cool of them to give Knuckles his own spin-off. 6/10 for me.

somehow, they set up so much things for success. The trailers showing Knuckles being cool, Knuckles coaching Wade while Wade teaches Knuckles about human life, Knuckles and Wade bonding over their missing fathers (they tried this in episode 2 and gave up immediately afterwards for some reason). What was supposed to be a series of Knuckles going through a journey of self discovery and his new purpose in the world, was passed over to... Wade, instead of you know, the actual main character? it was impossible to fail, but they somehow did it. kinda sad how the only memorable and best parts of the show were when Knuckles was on screen. Wade was just "I'm stupid and incapable!" jokes over and over. same with his sister, "I'm ignorant, petty, annoying, and repeat the same FBI lines!" again and again. atleast with Knuckles not knowing about human life jokes, they did something new everytime and didn't make it annoying and overused.
yes, this is accurate very disappointing how it turned out and yes Wade’s sister is the worst character in the whole Sonic universe wished knuckles got a full character arc here, very missed potential

The show was great. In episode 4, which wasn't for me. Actually, it is 8/10 (I'm not trying to be rude). You can't judge knuckles' shows because Wade had more screen. You can't understand they were trying their best. W video.
thanks for watching 👍 my issue wasn’t Wade, I like the character, but it was that the Knuckles show wasn’t focused on the title character, it felt misleading imo

I liked it personnally, it was clearly not the best but still I enjoyed the show quite a bit. Episodes 1, 2 and 3 were ok for the 1, don't care for the 2 and pretty bad for the 3 (okay we know that Paramount supports Israel was it that important for a Sonic related show?) after that it was better imo. I wasn't expecting something like the movies but still, yeah Knuckles wasn't the big star of the show but I think they did a pretty good job with Wade but I do feel that his developpement will not be relevant AT ALL for the third movie. I will give it a note between 6.5 and 7/10 but I do understand why you didn't like it

I love how most people were extremely excited for this but was i the only one dreading it from its original announcement in 2022? I knew it was going to be one of those "Boring side plot tv shows" Its litrally just you got to wait a few months for sonic movie 3 so here you go, they put no thought or effort into it what so ever, it was basically tom and sonics road trip but with knuckles and wayde and os much more boring.
