This was an awesome and very helpful video! I've been looking for a review of this mouse because I'm looking to buy the Omen 15 and this mouse on the crazy Black Friday sale they're having. Also you have S+ tier music taste, Ape Escape is awesome.
I have the whole omen setup but I absolutely love this mouse
at 16k DPI, it was like you were'nt moving at all! Thanks for making this vid, now I understand what ar DPI settings are for!
A little bit late, sorry. Does the mouse keeps it settings once you setted it up in the software, meaning has the mouse an own store?
yo can you do fast flicks with that mouse ?
Just received my HP Omen vector as well. I have many accidental right clicks on that mouse. The right click button feels very sensitive and very easy to misclick when I just rest my finger on it! Did you expect the same?

@@thedislikebutton3564 If you can dismantle the mouse and replace the switch to a KAILH than YES. The stock switches is a piece of crap. Omron 50M. If you can buy the mouse for 10-20USD it is fine. Do not pay the original price, not worth.HP cancelled the mouse already.

Not great, I actually switched up to a MM710 from Cooler Master
I moved on. Lightweight mouse take time to adjust to... But since they don't have weight, they are great for the wrist.
@@SPOOKYTHIEF What you mean by not great? Were you having double clicks and such issues. I currently have Logitech G102, whose left click started double clicking after only 8 month

Uh.. do you know why my mouse not showing in the app? (I'm using omen gaming hub because omen command center doesnt show up when i search in microsoft store)
Maybe try searching for command center directly from the HP site. There should be a link there that lauches a direct download from the microsoft store.
does it have onboard memory? Not a fan of using software, want to uninstall it after tuning the dpi.
It should keep a stored profile of your DPI settings, you can even delete the DPI setting you don’t like. Mouse is on the big hand side tho, take that into consideration.
Can I use this or wireless version on OMEN 15 ? It has Gen 1, Gen 2( Usb 3.0 and 3.1) ports. Unfortunately, it has no 2.0 port.
Yes Sir you should be able to. Usb ports work forward If you have a USB 3 port it can run all previous USB versions.

Heyy mann!! By any chance does this mouse need charging??. I got the mouse just a week ago. But today for some reason.... The buttons r working fine but the bottom sensor isnt working. And the RGB light... The red color keeps on blinking. Do i need to charge it or something?? If yes, then how do i charge??. Help please
It seems to me that your Mouse is faulty. You may wanna have that Mouse replaced for warranty. The model does not require any charging. And thus there should not be any sort of light flickering.
Dude I'm having the exact same problem with my omen vector mouse, it has been more than a year since I bought it and it was working fine but suddenly started having these issues if anyone knows how to fix it please let me know

My enaglish is verry bad So i have this mouse (black edition the scroll is full black) and i dont have the costum weight or ruberr grip i have a nice cable (simple one) and a plastic grip dont a rubber grip my scroll is verry bad like in cs go when i want to do bunny hoop (w/ up scroll) the scroll make annoyng sounds like an old dor. Your finger on right or left click is into a hole and the left two buttons are (for me ) perfect a little bit up cuz (push to talk for example) the buttons dont interrupt you I hope you understand my eanglish is verry bad
After a bit of searching around I found that the mouse you're talking about is the "Omen Vector Essential" you could consider this the budget version of the Vector. It has the same sensor, but yes it does lack the weights and the texture grip. If your question is "Do both of them share the same DPI software and sensor?" The answer is yes.
Also since you have the budget version of the mouse, it would be reasonable to assume that it was also made of cheaper parts, explaining the sound on the scroll wheel and the clicks. If you're interested in a more competitive mouse I will soon release a video that you might be interested in. Stay tuned.
