he won by a round, he got outlanded in 6 of the 12 rounds, and haney was landing some big shots especially to the body. either fighter winning by 1 round would not be a robbery, but the 116-112 card was awful, no way devin won 8 rounds and loma only 4.

Agreed, anyone who saw this fight knows Lomachenko was the clear winner. Unfortunately that’s boxing, if your the cash cow for a promoter, they’ll do everything to protect the boxer including having judges AND commentators in their back pocket (Cough - Andre Ward). In these situations you almost have to get a knockout or have a few knockdowns to get lucky enough for a draw.

@@Czaint loma threw more punches but landed significantly less. loma landed 30% of his punches while haney landed 41%. not even a third of loma’s punches connected while not far from half of haney’s did. loma threw over 100 more punches yes so he may seem active to a nonexpert but of those 159 more punches thrown, he only landed 9 more jabs than haney and 6 more power shots. loma did not do anything to convince any experts he dethroned a champion, only won 5 rounds out the 12😂

Just because Loma can dance doesn’t mean he won. He couldn’t stop body shot. Landing… which is how you get point in boxing. He wasn’t initiating the exchange… which is how you get point in boxing. Loma waited till round 5 / 6 to start boxing frfr which coasted him the match. Haney came out strong and took wary rounds.

He did not control each round. Just because he had little sparks between each round does not mean he controlled it. Devin was landing clean and accurate shots while lomachenko was throwing like a mad man trying to land atheist 3 of his like 6 punch combinations.😅 he maybe changed the pace in 2 of the last rounds but other than that. "Keeping your composure" is not part of any criteria. Yes, you can lose a fight while boxing consistently and remaining composed for 10 of the 12 rounds. he remained in control of himself, but obviously did not control the fight. I think you are confused because you were obviously rooting for him.

It is a very difficult question to get to, what Jesus taught about himself because of the nature of our gospels, but one thing is relatively certain, that that the reason the Romans crucified Jesus was precisely because he was calling himself the king of Israel. Now, Jesus obviously was not the king. So what might he have meant by it? The word messiah is a Hebrew word that literally means the anointed one. This was used in reference to the kings of Israel. The ancient kings of Israel, when they became king during the coronation ceremony, would have oil poured on their head as a sign of divine favor. And so the king of Israel was called God's anointed one, the messiah. There came a point at which there was no longer a king ruling Israel, and some Jewish thinkers began to maintain that there would be a future king of Israel, a future anointed one, and they called that one the messiah. And so the messiah for most Jews simply referred to the future king of Israel. And so when Jesus told his disciples that he himself was the messiah, he was saying that in the future, when God establishes the kingdom once more, I myself will be the king of that kingdom. And so it's not that the messiah was supposed to be God. The messiah was not supposed to be God. The messiah was a human being who would be the future king, and that's probably what Jesus taught his disciples that he was...
