Saenchai Destroying Cocky Fighters

2024 ж. 29 Сәу.

Why would any fighter disrespect Saenchai and be cocky in front of him? While no one except the fighters know, we can guess that to face the GOAT of Muay Thai, sometimes they need to overcompensate to overcome their fear. In these fights, it backfired! This episode features Saenchai destroying cocky fighters who dared to mock him.

    • the double kick is stupid and its extremely weak. ive watched a lot of this guy..... i think a lot of its fake and rigged. and theyre throwing potatoes at him for the $$$. let me not be misunderstood. obv. hes a beast. but this looks like youre throwing kids at tyson. Is he elite. fck yeah. is he untouchable. fuck no. just business.

    • You should take this video down. It's very biased. You can't disparage the taunting of Saenchai's opponents while ignoring the fact that Saenchai is famous for doing the same thing. In fact, his opponents are only taunting in retaliation for Saenchai's taunts. So his taunts aren't as playful as you may believe.

  • When Saenchai mocks his opponent it's "playful" and "entertaining", when his opponent mocks him it's "disrespectful" and "cocky"😂

  • I'm a 40 year old ex-Muay Thai practitioner, and I'm certain I've brought that up in this comment section before, but let me say that I love Lawrence's channel and his fight breakdowns. There's a *_lot_* of guys on KZhead who do this - not a lot of them know what they're talking about even though they might claim, but this dude Lawrence provides some of the best I've come across, and I'm hella far from an expert. I took classes for 2 and a half years, so don't listen to me and my bullshit, I've just been in some fights. This dude gives you an education.

    @BeginTheCrusade@BeginTheCrusade5 ай бұрын
    • I wouldn’t say he’s showing his age. Buakaw is only younger than him by a couple yrs. The rules crippled his fighting style. But I did feel that he wasn’t as confident as usual fighting without gloves. Once he broke his finger early round 2, he was done for. He can’t catch kicks for counter knees/punches, he couldn’t really punch, struggled to do his cartwheel kick. Not to mention Saenchai wasn’t allowed to do sweeps or throws which is what he’s known for, but lost some possible advantages when he was thrown to the ground illegally because it separated them. Though I do have to say there were none when it was a toss from a high kick. Haha. He gambled with those

    @Masamune2001@Masamune20015 ай бұрын
    • If you’re looking at win rates.. somrak is higher at 297-13. Somrak was something else. The fight of namsaknoi vs saenchai iirc was catchweight. Namsaknoi was similar to Buakaw size and weight. Namsaknoi was definitely a great though. But no, there are many amazing fighters with win rates of that level but Somrak is possibly the highest. Thing with Saenchai is he often fought bigger thai’s. He even fought 2v1 in 2009 against 2 lumpini champions and won. (1 fighter for 3 rounds, the other for 2). But namsaknoi and saenchai are definitely not the goats.
