Before you start holding the mitts it's important to know the proper form of the punches and what to look for as the fighter moves there feet and body

    • 34 and im doing the same thing you are, just trying to stay in shape so I feel you. the footwork only gets better if you work footwork drills. you have to go somewhere after punching

  • Snoop knows…notice that his explanations are concise, and to the point. Mitt work that has these main points maintains solid fundamentals as a boxer’s develops. Also, notice how he is checking the range hitting a bag or hitting mitts be mindful of the range of your opponent (bag or mitts). General rule is if you can touch them, they can touch you. All Good stuff here sold boxing!!

  • i coach too, i have my guys throw both power jabs and speed jabs , power back hands and speed back hands ..the power jab gets turned over , the speed jab does not turn over, they are much faster than power jabs and power back hands , nice work

    • I hate that term. Only used by MMA fanboys who can't punch. You have a straight right and a straight left. A cross is a stupid name.

    • I'll say this. You do want to be relaxed until right before impact. Check out the soviet boxing channel. They go over this in there style of boxing

    • There is nothing wrong with using the palms it just needs to be more controlled by the boxer to have skill vs power. I do it all the time
