  • What a performance by Andreescu, she has everything in her game technically wise, insane variety, solid serve, power hitting with that great FH and beautiful drop shots, while combining that with a mental fortitude way beyond her years as she displayed in this match, that game in the 3rd set where she was down 0-40 and won 5 points straight to avoid the break was the stuff of legend. She was clearly the most physically affected of the 2 towards the end of the match, cramping alot and still prevailed having one of the best counter punchers in the sport on the other side of the net in Svitolina. IMO she is a future #1 in the world and the future of WTA tennis alongside Osaka and Bencic.

  • What a rare privilege watching a tennis legend in the making with Andreescu. She also demonstrates an incredible level of maturity for such a young age... something I really admired in my tennis hero's (Rod Laver, Billy Jean King)... such a wonderful role model for kids hanging out at every Tennis court in Canada.

  • No more wildcards and qualifying for Bianca, she has ARRIVED!!.....She has all the tools to become #1 in a very short time (and she's only 18!!)...if she beats Kerber in the finals she'll pocket $1.1 million (earned only $230k in career before this tournament) and her ranking will shoot up from #67 to #24....WOW, what a superstar in the making!!!

As in any sport or competition this LOWERS Dominance & BOOSTS parity. U r mistaking Mediocrity with Parity. Now, there are several budding rivalries that can fuel fan interest. • @tehaueter 4 of the top 5 ranked ladies each hold 1 of the current GS titles. This is due to upgraded quality & parity on tour. For Bibi to jump from #5 to #1 she'll need to win the WTA Finals and take the 2020 AO away from Osaka. No easy task since there's more tape of her Now to coach against. We'll see. 🤔

So before making an ever bigger fool of yourself calling Romanians gyosies, I recommend buying a book and read about Romanian history and the origin of gypsies and how they ended up there. Just so you know, gypsies are everywhere probably many in your s hole Slavic country you belong to. Anyways, if you want to look intelligent maybe you shout stop replying with idiotic comments to another ignorant idiot. This is not the place for this type of garbage. This is a place to comment on the game of tennis. Try twitter for your hateful rants. It is better suited.

But she still is a great fighter, saving multiple match points and digging balls out of impossible positions. That match against Barty was also incredible. Less than 50 %, the lowest, in the final set was not an ideal strategy by Svitolina. Warmest applause to the Canadian #1! Can she carry on this momentum? An interesting encounter between the young challenger vs. one of the most experienced. The final is always special, more pressure added. How to cope with it by Andreescu will be of interest! Good luck! A leap frog: 60th in the ranking currently (live ranking) halved!! To enjoy intensity & excitement of this match, other highlights of more than 10 min are recommendable.

  • always makes me laugh how Svitolina walks round like she’s the bees knees when in 3 of the 4 slam quarters she’s only won 1 game in the final sets lmao

    @trob9057@trob90575 жыл бұрын
    • @ Tom I disagree. Angelique Kerber walks around like she is the bee's knees. Yet she was ass whopped by Danielle Collins and many other good tennis players. She only remembers to produce her best tennis for Venus and Serena.

      @17sunnyhour@17sunnyhour5 жыл бұрын
    • 17sunnyhour She’s won 3 slams and been number 1. She’s allowed to walk around thinking she’s the bees knees. She’s always had weird losses. And I see this argument so much about Serena and Venus and saving her best tennis for them, well maybe she’s just better than them at that moment lol.

      @trob9057@trob90575 жыл бұрын
    • @Tom That makes no sense. If Kerber was better than them at that moment, Why was she getting beatdowns in Australia, Dubai, and Doha? Garbine Muguruza is the same. Angelique Kerber waited a WHOLE YEAR(2017) before she reached a Grand Slam final. When Serena made the final of the 2018 Wimbledon Championships, guess who was at the opposite side of the net? And guess who was at the opposite side of the net at the 2016 Wimbledon Championships? I think Kerber needs to gain some independence.

      @17sunnyhour@17sunnyhour5 жыл бұрын
    • 17sunnyhour stop being so pressed about Serena losing. They have to play whoever is the other side of the net for each round. If Serena can’t beat her anymore that’s her issue. Kerber was superior in last years Wimbledon final 🤷‍♂️

      @trob9057@trob90575 жыл бұрын
    • @Tom Have you ever thought that Kerber has to be superior when she is playing a 23 time Grand Slam champion? Just like other ATP players have to be superior when playing Roger or Nadal. Notice no one is very interested in beating Kerber? She provides no motivation. Garbine even said she is always inspired to beat the Williams sisters, that is why she played superior tennis in 2017 and also won Wimbledon.

      @17sunnyhour@17sunnyhour5 жыл бұрын
  • Why does Kerber have to fuck up the finals of what could be interesting matches? Nobody wants to see Angelique Kerber in the final. Bianca, and Belinda would have been a awesome match up.
