Thank You !
nelson ate those punches like he was at a buffet
Big Country= Big Chin
It’s funny cause he’s fat.
"These aren't punches, they're slices of pizza and chocolate cake. You've trained all your life at the buffet for this. You can do it!"
And then he went to a buffet
All you can eat
Roy was getting hit like head movement was against his religion
Dude, this is a funny comment, actually made me LOL a bit.
He had amazing head movement, his head was moving a lot with Stipe's punches
Happy to see i am not the only idiot with a koala as profile picture
LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great coment
It's incredible how Nelson withstood all the punishment. Granite chin.
@PJ Rivera oh ok
@PJ Rivera too bad he couldn’t of just got knocked out In the first round in all the fights he was losing, cause all that damage he’s taken is shocking. Defo gonna have a shrivelled brain in 20years
Hope theyll be ok when theyre older :/
@PJ Rivera genetics def play. Mexican boxers are known for taking a lot of headshots and most of them talk fine and function. Just look at Julio César Chávez.
CTE is gonna treat him nice
Stipe Miocic is what we expect ourselves to look like when we fight...
Cm punk is what we actually look like
@@life4rent90 LMAOOOOOO
@vic A I was legit bout to say not knowing we look like cm punk lol wow
@@life4rent90😂
A lot of people get confused about whether stipe is more croatian or American but I think this fight confirmed that he’s more attuned to his American side because he was landing some bombs on big country
Hellfire missiles from 30,000 feet on Roy’s chin
@@BasedPeanutButterEnjoyer Eyy-oh!
😂😂😂
it would be a little more American if it were a small country, but still
I dont know what is most impressive: Miocic striking or Roy Nelson chin. How did Roy not get KO'd?
I dont know what is more impressive: Miocic striking or Roy Nelson's lack of basic defensive skills. Hands up, some head movement could have prevented 1/2 those shots.
You sound like Joe Rogan when Izzy was fighting Jan. Getting punched in the face repeatedly doesn't win a fight, I don't care how good you look doing it.
@@skylersampsell716 wtf he never said he was winning
@@skylersampsell716 but in this fight Roy Nelson got absolutely outstriked by Stipe. That's the difference. And that doesn't change the fact about what I said in the first comment
@Victor Palacios right. Guess you didnt watch the video... Nelson had zero defense game. Nothing.
Stipe one of if not the most respectable, honorable fighters I have seen in the cage.
The fact that it’s controversial if he’s the goat of heavyweight in my opinion is disrespectful to the sport. He’s legend status already. He made a mark in that division that won’t be touched for a long time I feel.
"I'M THE BEST BOXER IN THE UFC BABY!!!" - Stipe "Blessed" Miocic
Tbh I do believe Stipe is the best boxer in the UFC. What he did to DC and Francis was GOAT status type shit bro
U sure ?
@@truthmatters758 I believe he’s the best boxer in the UFC. Of course Francis hits hard as fuck. Dude has death in his hands. Let’s not forget whenever max lost to Dustin Poirer. He got out struck in every round
@@truthmatters758 u casual?
@@JustSendMeLocationPlease I agree
Good ending is Stipe beating Francis and then Jon and retiring. Best way for it to end
Goat shit
He would have to be the number 1 pvp fighter if that happens.
I really wanna see Stipe show Jon Jones what a true heavyweight is
Or Jon beat stipe, anyone who’s able to beat D.C is a god tier fighter I’d root for both
@@goldtiger9453 I wouldnt want Stipe to go out on a loss. Fact is Jon can take a loss and still have more fights in the tank. Stipe is getting a bit too old to keep going. Hes still at his best but hes on the cusp of 40 and who wants to still be getting beat up in their 40s?
Stipe's ability to land a solid right hand while moving backwards is beautiful.
@Miyamoto Mimosa I seen that! Crazy stuff but congrats to Francis. Hope there's a trilogy down the line.
Knocked werdum with it too
Me one minute in "HOW TF THIS GO ON FOR 4 MORE MINUTES!!"
stipe put an even worse beating on mark hunt - that one was tough to watch
Ask Calvin kater
@A. Berghanus Cain vs Werdum
I really feel like that could've been stopped
Editing!!
I wish he wins his next 2 fights and retires, it would be really sad seeing the age catch up with him because that’s inevitable..
Yea, i feel like he’ll retire when hes 40
Ngannou rematch and then Jones , perfect resumé
Right? Francis is dead set on a Jones fight but I don’t get why they won’t get the trilogy going.
Stipe is such a better fighter now even being slightly up there in age. He’s in the best shape he’s ever been in rn
U sure
@@truthmatters758 yea. He became a 2 time heavyweight champion since this fight. Dumbass
@@ethancohen7_ I’m saying that bc he lost yesterday buddy
@@truthmatters758 ok so? Anyone can get caught with ngannous power. Doesn’t take away what Stipe has done in his career and since the Roy Nelson fight
@@ethancohen7_ personally he’s the greatest heavyweight of all time and he’s my favourite fighter. But I was just responding to your comment on him being in the best shape of his life which he clearly wasn’t.
If there are people called "granit chin" or "metal chin" then we need a new term for Nelson.
Adamantium chin?
Dude, you forget these kind of performances over the years, cause he's had so many good ones. Stipe is such a monster...
The fact that your videos get flagged and yet you still put out this content shows just how much passion you have for the craft. You sir, are a godsend.
Commentator: "CLEAN KNOCKOUT" Stipe who is still upright and fully conscious: 😐
They were in the moment ig
1:26 the whole secuense shows how skillfull is Stipe 🐐
I’m rooting for stipe. If he somehow manages to beat ngannou and jones he’s easily the goat of heavyweight
You could make the argument that he already is the GOAT of heavyweight. But if he defeats ngannou again he just cements his status even more
Hes already the best HW ever. If jones gets the belt he has to defend it more times than him to be the best. Simple math
"somehow manages" to beat a dude who he already beat 5 rounds to zero lmfao, Ngannou is a sacrificial lamb with one game plan, Stipe is a champion who can beat you anywhere anytime any day.
Already that
@CT right!
Man its kinda scary seeing someone take that many blows to the head
"You never knocked me down, Ray. Hey Ray, you never knocked me down"
That beard is like a pillow it protects from KO’s 😂
Mark hunt enters chat
Scientists who study human evolution have actually suggested that because there's no clear evolutionary reason as to why men grow beards.
@@PatrickPierceBateman yeah but you can't even get a reservation at dorsia
@@BLACULA-Skeewoah let’s see Paul Allen’s reservation
@@PatrickPierceBateman signals sexual maturity
One of the best and one of my favorites. A true legend. Also a firefighter. Very positive role model. 👏 champ 🏆
No one can beat Roys haircut tho, business in the front, party in the back. Dope.
Man , that was a face punching clinic. Hats off to Nelson, how he didnt get knocked out is a miracle.
yo this account is a gem i have to subscribe
Man it’s almost like stipe stopped throwing the uppercut, what a nasty punch he never throws it anymore
Please bring back the video of Stipe's striking
You gotta do the max holloway and calvin kattar fight. Or just a max holloway video in general
Kinda feel bad for Nelson
I watched it live back then Was awesome
nice and clean boxing by stipe one of the greatest
I hope you do a "full episode" on Stipe as well
Head Movement!! Head Movement!! Head Movement!!
Stipe is just too precise it's amazing.
Gotta make one of these master class videos on Max vs Kattar
1:05 same punch that flattened Werdum
This man putting up significant strike stats I can’t do in ufc 4
You the man
This and that DC fight is crazy.
pleas make petr yan highlights, man got some hands
And low IQ knees
Wow, Big Country's head is made of iron. Amazing!!! Stipe is fighting like a heavyweight Shawn Stricland. Great punching combos with accuracy.
Wonder what happened to the stipe miocic striking accuracy video
Can you upload full fight ???
Roy was at his peak heading into this fight....and he was never the same after it.
2 of favorite heavyweights for sure
Nelson "The Big Country" Roy... missed watching you knocking out warriors
This fight gave me cte
That step back right is filthy.
i remember at the time the two best striking displays were both against roy nelson this fight with stipe and another fight against werdum idk how stayed standing in either.
Last segment from Miocic was nasty!
Stipe ! What a shape for a heavyweight wow
That boy got a wall for a chin
Martial Liam do you have this channel monetized?
Roy has one hell of a chin he might not know how to do long division anymore but he does one hell of a chin
Beautiful
I'm pretty sure this is the first video I've seen that has the option "2160p 60fps" available.
havent realized before , now i need to watch it again 🤷♂️
Stipe miocic melhor peso pesado da história do UFC!
Makes Mark Hunt's one punch knockout of Nelson even sweeter.
He battered roys brain into mush. That was cte city
Is Stipe the greatest heavyweight in MMA history?
yes. 100%
yup
@micha true. Although I must say if Stipe beats Francis again then it’s a bit closer. And if he beats JBJ then he takes it
@micha nope
@micha Fedor had 3 fights against great hws that were in there prime ... Big Nog twice & Cro Cop. Stipe has a way better resume.
Roy Nelson is/was such a legend.
Big country will always be a legend
Roy Nelson usually gets outstruck in most of his fights. He’s not a bad striker but he’s not a good one either. He’s just looking to land the overhand but Stipe also has a good chin so even if Roy landed it, Stipe probably wouldn’t fold like most other fighter
I have no idea how Roy Nelson was still standing after all that lol
What a chin
Both of these guys showcased grit and toughness. I feel fairly confident in saying this, though. . .could Stipe have NOT gone down had Roy Nelson been on his way to landing that many significant strikes? Damn.
Nelson👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
jesus what a beat down !!
2:24 So many good hits
Behind those beard is a solid granite! Incredible!
Next day Nelson woke up and thought he'd been at the Cotton eyed Joe set last night.
I think it was after this fight that Roy was seen in the locker room saying he won one or two of the rounds? Either way, crazy performance.
You beat the shit out of Santa Claus! Is this why I didn't get any presents that year?
Stipe is such a badass
i don't really enjoy seeing fighters get hit as much as Roy was getting hit….for some reason one-sided fights like this one make me feel uneasy
In 30 years they probably get Parkinson or some shit...
@@adriaandraije3838 ya Parkinson for real man, he was getting stone cold rocked waaay too many times….i wouldn't of minded if they just called it after the first round because i thought it was obvious Roy was just going to continue taking a serious ass whipping!! Johnny Jones vs. Shogun is another, I really get no enjoy from watching that fight…it's just way too one - sided for me..
Roy Nelson's fights are amazing to watch because it's literally like a study of the brain when watching him 😂 go watch his fights against Overeem, Mir, Cormier, Dos Santos and Volkov too.
Stipe is like the Vladmir Klitscko of MMA
Please do max striking
everyone talking about roys chin, stipes striking is beautiful
Roy Nelson's chin is made of solid steel
Holy cte!!!!
Nelson reminds me of Cactus Jack in all respect with his ability to take damage
Holloway v kattar looked like this, and Covington v lawler
*HOLY SHIT* and what about the 113 significant strikes Stipe landed on *Mark Hunt* 361 total !!!!!
@Marri Harris Facts lol
It's mad looking back and hearing Joe Rogan refer to Miocic as unheralded....
I dont know much about Roy but damn. Even if it is a bad matchup, less reach etc, please defend yourself. Hope he'll be ok later on
hes on the road to retirement, hes lost his last like 7 fights.
That's early
Roy has a chin he was so underrated he fought all the savages
you know whats even better than 137 significant strikes? 1 significant strike.
I like when keyboard warriors say "keep your hands up when punching. Your gonna get knocked out" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 they really need to watch Stipe put a punching clinic on Roy here...... thanks for the fight video highlights
I wish Nelson took fitness and nutrition more seriously. When he is not a lumbering bag of lactic acid, he is a formidable opponent
What is he made of?
Event was UFC 161, not 160.
Stipe destroyed two of the hardest chins in whole MMA ( Roy's chin, and after that He destroyed Mark Hunt chin )
And maybe soon to be heralded
Stiopic is crazy.
I have never seen a better chin than Roy Nelson's.
Mark Hunt
Show Cormier putting a striking clinic on Nelson
oh boy, roy nelson got some chin
