In the Diaz fight, he didn't have any energy left and didn't want to take more damage standing so he gave his neck... and for khabib, he couldn't handle the constant grappling pressure (yet he did in the first rounds) and again gave his neck.

I’m not a “Conor fanboy” or anything like that; But, I legitimately don’t know if there’s ever been a Fighter that is better _to watch_ - Than ‘Prime Conor McGregor’. And, even aside from the ‘aesthetics’ - As far as talent/skill: If he had better cardio and a little better takedown defense… He legitimately might’ve been one of the 3-4 Greatest Fighters Ever.

    • @@twatik Yup. I actually think Aldo is right there with Jones and GSP, because he had a very similar run-11 title fight wins, against an insane level of competition (arguably, Aldo maybe even had the toughest competition out of the 3 of them)… But, if Conor had better cardio and better TDD I think he would’ve been better than Aldo. Obviously he beat Aldo, but I mean that Conor could’ve had an even more dominant reign that Aldo did. I’d consider GSP, Jon, and Aldo the three “Greatest” as far as their overall career “achievements/accolades”, but I think Khabib is #1 as far as the best “pound for pound”.

  • Conor is my favorite fighter because of how intentional he strikes. The worst fights to watch are ones where people basically play rock paper scissors and brainlessly throw out a flurry of hands and legs hoping theirs land and their opponent's don't, but everything Conor does looks intentional like he has all the distances measured and has the spot where he's going to strike picked out and patiently waits for the right moment, and his counter punches look like he can slow time how precisely he lets fists graze past his face.

Very special fighter. Sadly he lost that what made him great over the last few years, his striking is still very very good, but he seemed stiff and slow in his last fights compared to back in the day, he built so much muscle mass and throws everything with so much power now.. it seems he forgot that "timing beats speed and precision beats power"

    • Imo why people hating conor is the fact he cheated in the fight with khabib. As you swa in the video he has more wider skills than khabib, khabib only specializes in wrestling. If he would have fought clean then it would be a phenomenal loss. Like he did with nate diaz in first fight he did not cheat and took the loss well. In the fight with khabib he was grabbing his gloves and cage and shorts. Conor sells himself as the skilled mma fighter/athele than other so cheating is not what skilled fighters do. And I’m not a fan of both fighters.
