Depends on what program you use, i just put a layer under the lineart. But if your using a program where that isnt so easy, very impressive!
I know! It's rare that one of the really good ones is colored, except Persefida, where it's sort of block colors, Rukart Bert, and Snazzy Sketcher. (Snazzy doesn't release often anyway, though.) But to see a Rusty fully colored in, and even a music video? Absolutely brilliant.

I know absolutely nothing about the Life Series or any of these characters beyond some of them individually as creators but this is fantastic work. I really love the shuffle step on the green and purple characters at 0:41, it's such good animation. I really should go and watch the Life Series.
Those are Joel (Smallishbeans) and Scar (Goodtimeswithscar), in the second series (Last Life), they both lived on the same mountain and pretended to be wizards calling the mountain magical mountain (And absolutely yes go watch all of the life series, come back, and see if you can name all of the references)

This animation gives me more happiness than i thought was physically possible, also Martyn dancing over Impulse and Scott's bodies was amazing. (My little ShadowBeans loving heart absolutely melted at their secret life moment, i freaking love them so much) Edit: the original post used the ship name Jizzie cause that's the ship name ive seen the most, people commented on it so i searched up what Jizzie ment for context. God I wish I didn't. I will be only using ShadowBeans for now on, oh my god someone pass the bleach i did not need to read that definition. It wasn't that bad I guess but im ace so anything dirty my brain makes twenty times more disgusting.

I've rewatched this animation so many times since it came out, its so smooth, well colored, and portrays each personality so perfectly through a simple, few second long dance. The song is perfect and it's so well timed, and even the little outro is just perfection. Absolutely beautiful, thank you for this.

help. i love so this so much. im crying a little about it. it's so smooth and so beautiful and the pairings are excellent im gonna point out a bunch of little details that are making me happy: intro: - grian's the first winner and is stepping cautiously onstage, like he doesn't know what's going to happen - scott's surveying the future. always looking ahead. careful and planning and ready. - pearl doesn't even realize she has the spotlight on her at first. - martyn's a self-assured winner - scar's confused why he's there. huh? he won? how did that happen? third life: - the way you drew desertduo's little dance at the beginning is such a GREAT start. there's so much movement in the legs and the arms and it's slightly different between the two of them and it flows so smoothly. - 0:20 joel's just doing his own thing, his spotlight is small and off to the side, he's not even looking at the audience, he's just vibing - in contrast to renchanting, who are grand, who take up the entire stage, who revolve around each other with a flourish - 0:25 i love how jimmy has this massive grin on his face while scott's smirking. it captures their personalities perfectly - etho in 0:28 puts his arms by his side and leans back rather than out like the other two! Last life: - 0:33 and now last life!!! love the progression from one person on the left, two on the right, then four on the left, then grian and mumbo going across the stage from left to right, it is so pleasing - 0:41 the little bouncing steps magical mountain takes makes me very happy. yes. slay. - 0:45 cleo dancing on their own is very charming double life: - 0:53 desertduo never face the same direction at the same time! - 0:55 ren and bigb looking at each other nervously before the fingerguns - how there was the aspect of distrust and betrayal throughout their relationship, yet they worked it out and went down hand in hand - 1:00 RANCHERS WITH JIMMYS LITTLE HAT and they look so happy to be there :D - the pearlescentmoonwalk never fails to make me smile she looks so smug and so pleased with herself at how she beat the odds it's fantastic limited life: - I like how team TIES does the same dance but split up! - also as a side note there is something So great about your tango movements. he's such a Creature and so wiggly and energetic and it fits so well. - 1:13 the scuba diving dance is so fun--that and martyn fortnite emoting over the bodies always makes me cackle - im FASCINATED the etho and bdubs bit! I believe it's the only segment in the entire animation where the characters are repeated, aside from the segments that show the winners. the etho and bdubs dynamic is just that important what can i say - i just realized martyn took off his vest to kill. thats how you know it's getting real secret life: - love the slight changes in costume for gem and the scotts! gem springing up from the middle is very nice and exactly gem's energy. - the lizzie/joel dance for secret life at 1:28 did something to me it's so sweat and so beautiful - heart foundation doing a heart is so clever. also i love how you captured all the characters' energy in these animations - im very charmed by how bigb always looks more fun than precise; he's unafraid to make extraneous movements, and these movements are always for balance or otherwise very natural. anyway uh. i liked this animation very much :D

gonna point out some details i liked (could be intentional or just a happy coincidence) 3L: you'd think renchanting duo would have a dance that emulates their king-hand relationship? nope, they share the spotlight! martyn was loyal but had his own agency, ren served his people! -etho puts his hand back in his pocket LL: skizz is too tall for BEST and has to hunch down a little bit -joel and scar's animation is very punchy and i love it! also they each have a bit of the other's color (green/purple) -also scar flashing his crystals DL: scar's jazz hands -i can't name it but the ranchers' dance is very cowboy of them -pearl MOON-walking :) LimL: pearl hides behind bigB -bdubs and etho separate but come back together -scott has regular ears to start, but when martyn wins he's got fins! SL: the roomies are the epitome of chill so they just bop their heads -it's mean but... lizzie falls into joel's arms, and she died falling into the void -that first moment of the heart foundation where you can tell they were practicing this for a while, also bigB lifts his leg up And in general: anytime they look down while doing funky footwork, and the tiny changes to outfits for each season!

I love how all of them are dancing with their allies by season, and it's all so smooth! Joel and Scar's dance at 0:40 hits the beat perfectly and Pearl moonwalking at 1:02 is so clever! I also loved the rancher's dance at 0:59 and Martin emoting over Scott and Impulse just sent me!
I absolutely love the smaller details that you thought to add that don't seem to get much attention, like Cleo being human in the Secret Life bit, or Scar and Joel having a red tint in their eyes referencing when they were both boogeymen (maybe). This reminds me of the Sugar Song and Bitter step, one of my favorite animatic concepts, which you absolutely crushed and chose a good song for. All around excellent job (if you see this (or care))!

The easiest one to start with in my opinion is Grian! He and Scar are a team in 3rd life so it's easy to start getting to know the two of them and slowly introduce to the other players as it goes
