The snails in hermitcraft just cause chaos? But, there's like a cyan snail for Grian and a pink one for Gem, since they were chosen by a specific snail. They're supposed to spread around the whole server
Grian’s snail griefed Gem’s lighthouse-probably because it had diorite on it. That happened twice, and Gem ended up slapping that snail at Grian’s feet. It was after that that Gem got her own snail, and they terrorized Scar, even recreating Larry from Season 7
Scar put them in cages and even managed to capture the big one attached to his train, but they were freed and are now MIA.
He could just watch the darn videos and learn?

So for the Doc one, he made a huge redstone tunnel bore to mine out under his base. Scar and Grian went to look at it and accidentally blew it up (really, you can hear the panic in their voices!). They unknowingly double clicked the button, one right after the other, which stalled the TNT and blew it all up. They felt horrible and made a pile of gifts and spelled out “we are sorry” from all the left over pieces. This started w whole war of course 😂
I think the funniest thing is that Doc's reaction was less character's-plan-was-foiled "how could you do this" and was more software-developer-trying-to-understand-customer's-bug-report "so how did this happen?"

30:48 The snails are from Grian and they basically cause mischief around the server and it started off with an aqua snail that Grian made. Then, it started to eat Gem’s lighthouse so she had to keep giving the snail back to Grian. She asked Grian how to get one and a few days later one appeared at the top of her hill and it was a pink snail. Now they both have snails and they are messing with Scar’s -clown- train BASICALLY, you have to be chosen by a snail to get one. The pink one in the animation chose Gem :D extra; scar has a bunch of little brown snails around his train because there was a train car with a giant snail that the pink and aqua snail “built”. and then it exploded into many little ones lol

Snail story: Grian got excited when he finally got an assortment of blue blocks and could copy a design he found online to build a snail. He then, off camera, would place the snail around the server to terrorize his neighbors, starting with gem. He would casually point out on his episodes, "Look at that sneaky snail! He really likes gems lighthouse" as if they had a mind of their own. As much as gem didn't like the damage to her builds, she loved the snail so much she wanted one herself so she became "chosen"
as a small animator (i dont post on yt) i feel so appreciated when jimmy appreciates the fandom

I don't know if you'll ever see this, but at 20:17, the reason Scott is the "Candle queen", isn't specifically because of the lyrics but because the animation was about Last Life and he won that one. It was centered around him for that bit.
How do candles relate to Last Life?
@aatpg-vx5xm candles don't relate to it in any way that I know of, but the lyrics were just a way of centering it around Scott. It could have just as easily been "hotdog queen" as it could candle, it doesn't tie up specifically to the lise series or scott, but the song was about it so therefore when they made the animation centered around Smajor, the song called him candle queen. This might not make much sense, it's like 3:00 am where I am lol
@@hiraeth.42 No worries, I think I've seen Scott drawn by other people with a magic crown of sorts before, made up of small floating cylinders around his head, and also I've heard he has a thematic connection to a star from another series, which could be related but could equally be a different thing.

The Secret Life puns one is by far my favorite, simply because Grian’s first Secret Life video was the first video I watched out of any of the Hermits or Lifers, it was my introduction to both fandoms really, and I had no idea who any of these people were, now I watch that animatic and I can recognize each of their voices even without seeing the art 😂

With the snails. In reality they are wood, a wall, a trap door and two candles, Grian's is green and Gems is pink like you saw. Grian used the snails as an excuse to cause chaos without taking the blame and others, obviously knowing what's up just plays along. At the start it was just Grian messing with Gem and pretending the snail ate her build and gem thought it was cute so she asked grian for one and he said you have to be chosen by the snail to have a snail, so he propeared Apink one for her and set it up at her base. And the video was how she reacted to seeing the snail for the first time. In the Lore however, the green snail chose Grian because I would assume they have similar tendencys to cause trouble, and it just goes around causing havoc around the server and later a pink snail saw Gem and laid its claim on her if you will. Later they built a big snail on Scars train, so they seem to be good builders, but Scar ended up moving it to the side in a cage with its eyes peaking out the top. And more may be revealed you never know, and I don't believe they have been named though

So a cyan snail appeared to Grian, and it started eating at one of Gem’s buildings and Gem saw it, returned it to Grian and wanted one. An episode later, a pink one crashed on top of the mountain where they are kinda based around near her section, and she got excited. Then the blue and pink snails got kidnapped by Scar because he thought they were dangerous, but they were freed and a giant brown snail appeared on Scar’s train. And the big brown one has been kept in a cage since, I think.

Wooo!!! I love these animatic videos! 🤍 30:50 The basic lore is that Grian has a snail and his snail causes chaos, and his snail took several bites out of Gem’s lighthouse. Gem then returned his snail and wanted one of her own, and in the next episode, she was “chosen” and now has her own snail. Now, the snails torment Scar and play pranks on him alonside a gigantic tan snail that the two small snails built. If I remember correctly, the latest stunt pulled was that the giant tan snail split into like 20 small snails and the smaller snails replaced all the wheels on Scar’s train. Scar then responded by placing some of the snails over a bonfire to make “e-SCAR-go” (escargot)
I hope, he also watches the original clips. Especially the Doc and the obliterate one with Keralis flying away are iconic.

Grian started season 10 fishing for a mending book, gem built a lighthouse across the river, grian in boredom built the first snail who began eating the lighthouse until gem found out, gem loved the snail and then joined the snail pranking with her own so its a naughty snail infestation cult
You should consider making a playlist with all the featured videos so people can go to the original easier! Other than that, this is such a lovely way to highlight the amazing talent in this community :D

Jim I think the animation by Persefida with Grian and Docc and Scar was about a mining machine which uncovers a lot of diamonds however if you don’t reset it properly or do it to quick it can blow its self up. ( I haven’t watched HermitCraft yet so I’m just taking a guess but a Redstoner knows things 😂)
You hit a noteblock to shoot one set of TNT, but you have to wait for the TNT to explode before you can hit the noteblock again. Grian hit it once and then Scar hit it again before it was finished with Grian's press so the double dose of TNT blew up the tunnel bore.
Every KZheadr in the life series has been chosen a Wings of Fire dragon. You’re a SandWing! SandWings can breathe fire and go a month without food or water, but their main abilities are blending into the sand with their pale scales and their poisonous barb at the end of their tails. SandWings also emit heat, and have pitch black eyes. SandWings also have the best hearing in the tribes.

The snails from hermitcraft are just silly beings that is currently tormenting Scar /hj Gem's snail did choose her so yeah theres a whole choosing owners thingy when it comes to snails (pls correct me if i'm wrong) There's not much lore about them so far other than those snails eating Scar's base (and Grian's snail eating Gem's lighthouse before that) and Scar just bringing them back to the owners or trapping them in a cage which doesn't really work and the cycle just repeats lol

Snail Lore: Grian is not getting up to any chaos this season. On a totally unrelated note, his blue pet snail has been getting up to some mischief (entirely on it's own, he assures us). After Grian's snail takes a few bites out of Gem's lighthouse for fun, Gem eventually was mysteriously gifted a pink snail by the powers that be. Grian and Gem are definitely not getting up to anything chaotic... but their snails have now teamed up and been terrorizing Scar for the last couple of weeks.
God Persefida's artstyle, as well as just their depictions of the hermits, is one of my personal faves. If there were a series of animatics to look at, it'd be their's ^^

The lore on the snails is that the snails have invaded hermit craft season 10 and the magic mountain people got invested into them when grian got chosen for a blue snail the first seen clip of them is when gems lighthouse got invaded by a blue snail and scar hates them alot.
