Hard to say which death if my favorite, but Grian’s final is memorable. He dealt 91 hearts to Gem, Scott, and Impulse with a TNT Minecart and PvP before dying. He did not go out without a fight.
He might have won if he told them 3v1 was gross

Scar was unbelievable this season, he absolutely deserved that win. It was such an underdog story too, absolutely no one expected him (Mumbo's "Be better at the game" springs to mind) Makes me hopeful for next season Jimmy, if Scar can do it so can you!

Just realized all 3 of Mumbo's deaths were his own clumsiness, he never got to actually fight anyone that effectively
And all of Scott's deaths are him making a deal for hearts
and all of Etho's deaths are just running away from Scar

Wasn't his task to be Grian incompetent butler where he has to do what Grian says but get something slightly wrong? Grain sid Mumbo will fall straight down into the lava, so he fell into the lava but not straight down.

Some background on Scar's story: His original goal was to be a nice friendly guy and make lots of allies, but the secret keeper had different ideas. The first couple secret life tasks were pretty tame, but then they got progressively more chaotic. The third session: He had to remove light sources from around people's bases. The fourth session: Scar just wanted to make some alliances, but his task was to do the opposite of what people told him to do, leading him to do a bunch of different dastardly deeds such as killing all of Lizzies cows and punching Skizzleman when he asked for a heart. The fifth session: The secret keeper took a pause with the villainous tasks this week. The task was for Scar to trade his way up from grass seeds to a golden apple. (He had no trouble with this task of course, him being Scar). The sixth session: This was the game of chicken (in which he punched Bdubs into a hole filled with zombies, killing him). The seventh session: Scar talked about how he just wants to make a few allies, and then the secret keeper gave him the task, "Become the villain of the server". This was also the boogie-apocalypse session, wherein Scar got infected with the curse and his new goal was to slay the rest of the server. The eighth session: Scar mentioned that there were a lot of red lives and said that he'd like to make friends with them. His task: "You must sabotage at least 3 red players' bases." The ninth session: Scar uses his Hotguy skills to take down the rest of the server. (Yes, he did break the block under Tango in that one clip). Thus, the man who was forced to be a villain came around to win the whole thing. Truly an underdog story, especially considering that Scar is known to often take a lot of damage in Minecraft. Scar's kill count: Around 10 to 12, according to other people's counts. The highest out of everyone.
Scar earned that win for sure this season.
Scar is actually really good at the game. He just sucks at eating so he's never regening hearts. Him winning the season where you can't regenerate really proves this even further
@@dustifiez He didn't used to be. It's all of his practice in recent MCC's and his HotGuy phase that turned him into the player he is now.

So the tasks are not random they vary from person to person. Or it was a coincidence that scar said stuff he wanted to do and got the opposite.
I loved Pearl's final death because even though Scar saw it happen, it didn't register to him that she actually died and Grian had to tell him. He popped off this season and absolutely deserved the win, especially after getting so close in 3rd Life.

There's 0% Scar didn't know Pearl died right then. He loves doing that thing where he acts stupid for laughs.. but there was literally a giant lightning bolt on his screen when she fell.
He only realised that Pearl had Fire aspect on her sword after he got hit twice so it's not impossible that he didn't register that she died despite the lightning. It can happen, people can be so focused into something that they don't register everything
Funny thing was that Scar finished ninth between 3rd Life and Secret Life

I still think Joel's failed waterbucket clutch was my favourite. The sheer stupidity of it. Everyone watching it happen. Lizzie saying 'everyone was watching, how embarassing for you'. And Jimmy's 'why did he do that?' gets me every time. Also Lizzie's yellow death at Jimmy's hands made me laugh too. Scar became an absolute monster by the end. He really deserved the win for sure.
i love grains final death. He never goes down without a fight, and this was a brutal one that costed the gem and the scotts’ chance of winning

Jimmy’s introduction to the boogey curse via this is kinda hilarious. The boogey curse was Gem’s task for Session 7 and she had to kill every non red member once to win, whoever dies joins her to help kill everyone. Also for Etho’s death Grian placed down an ender man egg to for either Scar or Gem to look at, but Etho looked at it and had to run from it (which led him to them)
The thing is, he’s mentioned the task when reacting to secret life memes before so I think he just didn’t connect it -or he forgot
Tbh Etho should've just stayed and fought the Enderman with Alive crew than run off TOWARDS THE ZOMBIES.

Grian was a freaking champion. With a tnt minecart trap and incredible sword skills, he took 90+ total hearts from Gem, Scott, and Impulse.

Yeah he probably could of won but when you watch his perspective, you can tell he’s nervous from how shaky he is and missed a lot of easy shots. If we would’ve hit them, he probably could’ve snowballed hearts from kills and won the fight

24:03 Scar encouraged Tango to burn the globe solo so he could kill him, he broke that block saying “Goodbye Tango!” Very merciless kill.
The cheerful "Goodbye Tango~!", the whole "This wouldn't have happened if you didn't say Bdubs was your favorite kid" to Cleo, he really played into the villain arc narrative. Worked great.

To be fair, Grian almost single handedly took out Gem and the Scotts. He did like 91 total hearts of damage to all 3 of them. I think the highest person in the group had 12 hearts after fighting Grian
no, gem had 15 after she killed grain - sorry, grian - which means she only had 5 hearts before she killed him xD which means if grian had focused on her and landed 1-2 more hits he would've gotten 10 more hearts then if he targeted impulse he would've taken impulse so quickly out of the game and you can imagine the rest xD
The thing is with Jimmy. When he watches all the deaths in the life series, he’s actually surprised since he is always one of the people that die first.

All the deaths were great, but Grain really outdid himself in that last 3v1. The fact that he took 90+ hearts whilst being in a hole, cornered by three people amazes me. Props to you Grain!
So some helpful context. The deaths from 13:05 starting with Bdubs to about 22:08, Big B, were all part of the same event, with the exception of ZombieCleo. GeminiTay was responsible for Bdubs first death, she had a task where she was a Boogeyman and if she killed someone, the Boggeyman curse got passed on and the task of whoever they took out got replaced by Gem's task. So after Bdubs was killed his task was replaced by Gem's task, the same happened to Impulse and so on. Same with Pearl, since Pearl was taken out by a trap Gem had set. Though technically Pearl's death shouldn't have counted, because there was a restriction that the last person killed had to be involved in the next kill and i don't think Impulse was involved in Pearl's death

You could rule that Gem was the only boogey when she set the trap that killed Pearl so it would count that way
Tango's first death wasn't a boogey apocalypse kill, and Gem's death wasn't exactly a boogey apocalypse kill either since she was the necromancer who started it all.
She definitely made sure that we won't get atleast another session lol
For those who aren't aware, tango's final death was because scar broke the moss block tango was standing on. Scar had been trying to persuade skizz/tango to go up to the globe for a while, so he could kill them
Secret life was an absolute blast and I'm happy that the curse was finally broken... for now... Edit: 1k likes??? Mom get the camera!!!

@@Kaslana_Yumma_423 fair. Imagine if Lizzie threw her pearl, or Joel told her he failed his task, or if she landed on the blocks, or if she was wearing a pumpkin. So many ways the curse could have continued.
27:34 For added context, Grian just TNT bombed them for about 20 hearts each, which is where the powered rail, broken portal, and massive crater came from. He basically singlehandedly ended Gem and the Scotts.

Impulse wanted the smoke on his first death because he didn't want to worry about surviving on 2 hearts. Basically he was saying "please just let me shortcut back to full health, I beg." Also, Grian took about 90 combined hearts off Gem and the Scotts in the last episode between the clip in this video and a wonderful TNT trap earlier. He single-handedly took out about 2/3 of the hearts Gem walked into that last episode with.
i wish Scott didnt gave his life to Martyn and instead had become the first zombie, that would have been so awesome
I partially attribute the outcome of the season to grian nuking and then fighting the gem team for basically 70% of their health each. Everyone else was amazing that session but I still think that was the biggest equaliser of the whole game
Skizz's kill on Scar is my 2nd favorite death of all the series. Nothing will ever beat Grian's dripstone kill on Ren.
I think his quad kill and last triple kill in limited life are my favorite grian moments ever. his screams/laughter of pure excitement make me laugh all the time.
That kill was just SOOOO smooth. And Skizz's cheer at the success of it was great too. Real emotion.

In session 7, gem got a boogie man task, except it was also like a zombie plague. She can kill players, an those she killed became infected and essentially swapped their orignal task for Gems (red were immune for obvious reasons). That's why you saw people betraying others. The infected could only succeed once everyone was infected. However, they failed as Cleo, Scott, and Grian managed to survived.
Joel must have really wanted to win this season, throughout the season he kept mentioning how he was trying to win this one more than any of the others, now Jimmy singled him out talking about how gutted he was for him, either way I believe he will win the next one
He really wanted but his nature is hard to evade those clumsy mistake he kept making but yeah 😭
If he hadn't taken that much damage to his own trap he would have won

It is very Scott to have every death be some type of sacrifice or deal. I kinda love it.
Scar got 12 out of 34 player kills in the series. 6 of them in the final session. There were 14 people left and the madlad killed 6 of them. Also, the Grian 1v3 last stand was super impressive. He TNT minecarted Gem and the Scotts as they came out of the nether, and fought like crazy as you saw. He totaled something like 90 hearts in that fight, taking all 3 of them from 50 to 30 hearts each to like 10 each. Before that it seemed like those 3 would win, but fryer that they were doomed. The session 7 carnage that started with Bdubs getting zombied and ended with Cleo drowning was from Gem's task, which was to be the boogeyman, and everyone killed by a boogeyman also becomes the boogeyman, until everyone has been killed. Red names were immune to it though, so for everyone else it was a zombie apocalypse, to Martyn it was just another Monday in a big dog's life.
13:08 This death was the first of the deaths from the boogeyman apocalypse! Basically, the whole server had to become boogeymen and the most recently killed player had to be involved in the next death somehow. 13:08 Bdubs was killed by Gem’s zombies 13:28 Impulse was purposely killed by Bdubs and joined them 14:00 Pearl was then killed by a trap that Gem had set up for Scar 14:47 Scar got shot by Pearl By this point, the non-boogeymen figured out what was going on and decided to regroup at Etho, Cleo, and Grian’s base. 15:19 Scar killed Etho while he was being chased by an Enderman that Grian placed to attack the boogeymen 16:09 Gem then killed Joel with Etho’s help 17:31 Joel then killed Skizz 18:20 Skizz then turned on Tango with help from the other boogeymen 19:12 Cleo drowned while trying to escape the boogeyman horde, but it wasn’t counted as a boogeyman kill 19:42 BigB was trying to escape with Cleo, but got separated and killed by Joel This is where the boogeyman episode stops, but I do want to point out that at 20:31, you can just barely see a sliver of TNT in the top left hand corner of the screen.

A lot of the deaths were from Gem's task of spreading the boogey man curse which is why skizz turned on tango, bdubs gave impulse the smoke ect.
Gems second death is great, i love how she super hard blames scar but on his pov she comes out of nowhere

Scar’s villain backstory: The secret keeper kept giving him villain-like tasks so he embraced it completely.
Gem did super good this season and was my absolute favorite, she accomplished A LOT for the new player, she gathered materials for the End Portal, she was the player to find the Stronghold, opened the End-Portal, created an army and sent them to the end to fight off the Ender Dragon, made HALF the server Yellow and Red names for her own personal task, failed, killed her own allies to gain hearts, and she died due to a 1v2 battle which was absolutely intense.
i think lizzie’s final death was literally the most unlucky outcome that could’ve happened. the enderman only came after her because she was looking at scott and he moved slightly to the side. 10/10 worst and scariest death of the season
The deaths starting with Bdubs being killed by zombies for the second time and ending with BigB being killed by Joel in the tunnel were all from Gem's spreading Boogieman task. Each person who was killed joined the Boogieman team and needed to help with the next kill. Gem -> Bdubs -> Impulse -> Pearl -> Scar -> Etho -> Joel -> Skizz -> Tango -> BigB Cleo drowning didn't count so only Cleo, Grian, and Scott didn't become Boogiemen (Martyn doesn't count because he was red before it started). Also the kills didn't quite follow that chain; Gem, Scar, and Joel all got multiple kills in there.
Fun Fact: When Joel tried to water bucket clutch from the tower the reason it missed is because he landed on top of a grass patch 3:12
You can place water on grass and it'll either place it above the grass or replace it. If he was spam clicking, he would've survived, but he wasn't so the grass messed up the timing.

16:30 For context, someone had a task to play infection with the whole server, where people get infected by getting killed. So a whole chunk of the deaths were because of that. Hope this helps!
Grian was so close to killing gem, scott, impulse with not only the tnt minecart but also pvp ,I really wasn't expecting that, but Scar deserved it this season, he was absolutely insane!!
I love how all 3 of Mumbo's deaths were to his own stupidity. -Walked off a diving board thinking it was stairs -Got on a strider, got off, walked off the block into the lava -Got blocked by his own fence post

4:15: Martyn’s death was hilarious from Lizzie’s POV. 7:20: “Break a block!” 😄 I’m glad they left the aftermath of BDubs’ death in this video (7:30). I first saw that from Etho’s POV and it was so funny to hear the group reacting to BDubs’ death message…and then, suddenly hear “What the heck?!” come from the second floor.
For those who don’t know, in Ep 7, Gem’s task was to spread the boogeyman curse to the whole server by killing them.
Scar had 10 kills. Absolute menace. And yea he did break the block under tango, it looks really cool from scar’s pov! Also, merry Christmas Jimmy!

Jimmy you probably won't see this but fun fact about that Grian 3v1, in total he dealt over 90 hearts on their whole team, he dealt the most to Gem, from 48 hearts to only 5 hearts...
I gotta say, its quite funny to watch jimmy react to the deaths of the episode after he died, cause he just didnt know that there was a zombie infection 😅
I just noticed on the Pearl fight that a lot of her health loss is from Scar's Thorns armor! Not to take away from Scar's PVP skills but it did help a lot when people tried to fight back. So I guess thorns needs to be the new meta for Life Series if they don't ban big enchants again.
Grian almost fell to death because of Scars thorns, he was shooting them from the tower and hit Scar
@@maca76 That was a great little interaction that in a way showcased one of the minor additional ways Scar made it to the end. "The Thorns nearly killed me!" "Yeah, that's just Scar... Just leave him for last." Scar at that point in the PvP with Pearl at the end, she literally couldn't kill him directly, he had enough HP/diamond protection to eat enough hits from sword or bow to thorns-kill her. He was the only one "villain" enough to Thorns up in a no-regen game, and it really helped him both directly and indirectly.
To be fair, Scar chose it for this season considering the lack of regen, so I'd give it to him the same way we aren't generally crediting everyone's level of prot and sharp.
Never knew this. Doubt he planned it exactly but kind of seems like a perfect build for being the last of two alive assuming he has the hearts. Though I wonder if he'd have won had Pearl and Gem teamed up against him instead, the thorns damage being split between them.
Pearl's death was amazing. Scar not realizing it was over until Grian spoke in dead chat, and his sudden realization unironically sent chills up my spine. Perfect moment of angst and storytelling ngl.
Someone pointed out that the wolf that attacked Grian when you were his angel was actually Scott's wolf. Scott had a task where he secretly hit Grian during an earlier exchange, without anybody knowing, so next time they were in range of eachother, the wolves still remembered. And then, conveniently, some reds decided to ignore tasks and just kill there. Was a bit unpopular/split reaction.

an interesting statistical fact about scar winning and pearl finishing 2nd, they have officially become the 2nd and 3rd life members to have at least 2 seasons where they finished either 1st or 2nd with scott being the 1st person to do so
I don't know what warden attack hit you, but I think it's hilarious that Mumbo says "IT WAS THE FENCE POSTS" when he actively ran back towards the warden instead of away. I think you also ran back towards it but to get out of the hole. It seemed as if Mumbo thought he could just circle around it. 😅 I know it's dark but as a viewer you're like "just don't turn back!" XDD

fun fact about Grian's final death. in that 3v1, Gem and the Scotts lost 91 hearts to Grian. ignoring the hearts Gem gained from killing him, their heart totals were 5, 6.5, and 11.5 when they all had 30+ hearts going into the fight, with Gem having 40.5.
Just casually did enough hearts to kill 3 people normally (but of course all 3 of them had an insane amount of hearts)
Basically, the session after you died Gem got a task where she had to kill all non-reds, and once they died from her they’d join her. That was a majority of the deaths from that session, and that’s why non reds like Pearl and Scar were ganging up on others.
I watched someone’s kill count for the season, Scar had 10 kills, Gem had 8, and the next closest to her was 2 kills tied between people, they absolutely popped off this season
I was sure Scar had 11 kills
This season was Scar’s villain arc. A well deserved win.

I think the most funny part is gem complaning about the 2v1 after doing like four three v ones
true, but for a final 3 battle it is unusual and a little more unfair, she also may have said that because pearl was a pretty close ally throughout the series, and she picked scar over her. if pearl helped gem, she probably wouldve won
What it didn't show was Grian's TNT trap on Gem, Scott and Impulse just before they had their fight. Including that trap, the total damage that Grian inflicted on them was over 80 hearts!! What a legend
Grian was pretty much the whole reason the mounders won against gem and the Scotts, between his tnt trap and the fight they had he took about 70% of their health (they were STACKED before that) leveling the field between the two teams
The finale betwen Scar and Pearl is now understandable. I havent seen Pearls POV until here but bcuz Scar kept getting final kills as red, he gained nearly 40+ hearts after every encounter with someone. Pearl on the other hand started this fight with barely 10. If she had killed Scott or Gem, she might have had a better chance but it went as it got... good luck in next series Jim! Wanna see u not die first aggain and prove us wrong that this wasnt a fluke

You know, something cool is that grian did over 80 hearts of damage in his final death because he blew the 3 of them up right before the clip started. He put a such a good fight

This really puts into perspective how many people died to mobs and accidents. Jimmy and Mumbo don't have a single other player kill and many others (Martyn, Lizzie, Bdubs) only have one kill done by an actual person or traps.

All Lizzie's deaths were indirect or accidents- Her first was by Joel, HER HUSBAND. Her second was by Jimmy's stupidity- And her final was by talking with Scott. LIKE GIRLIE DID NOT HAVE A CHANCE TO PARTICIPATE IN ANYTHING-

One of my favorites has to be Skizz's first death, mainly because of the way it foreshadows Impulse's final death (running down the Cherry Blossom mountain stairs only to get shot by one arrow and dying)
11:00 there is no roll thing, that animation is when the warden charges its sonic beam attack. The reason you didn't see particles is probably because you were running, so you only got hit by the edge of the attack, so all of the particles were behind you. Hope this helps!

26:54 Jimmy you asked what the context to Scar becoming a server menace was and it was that the Secret Keeper kept giving Scar tasks that caused him to make enemies (being a villain), and so he decided to embrace the villain arc and went on a killing spree.
Jim, to give you context of all the killing by skizz and Joel. Gem was cursed with being the boogeyman as her secret and she had to infect the whole server. Each person who fell to the curse had to participate in the next kill. (Hence why skizz targeted tango). Etho, Cleo, Grian, and Scott were the only ones who didn't fall to the curse.

13:14 all the session 7 deaths (Bdubs' 2nd death to BigB's second death) were as a result of Gem's task, which was the Boogeyman virus, or as Cleo called it, the zombie virus, in which they had to kill everyone but Martyn once each. edit: this excludes Tango's first death, Gem's second death, and Cleo's first death. Tango was due to BigB not sitting down his dog, Gem's was due to her getting in front of Scar not only after he said he would shoot, but also when she could already see his bow being drawn back (and yet she still blamed him for that), and Cleo drowned escaping the "zombie horde".

8:52 Helpful context for this Mumbo death- he was tasked to be Grian's "terrible" butler. So that's the only reason he got on the Strider in the first place, because Grian told him not to. Though him getting off it and still jumping off into the lava is, of course, pure Spoon derpage. LOL
8:58 the second death wasnt as horrendous as it was, he was forced to do it. His task was to be grian's butler and do the opposite what he said...well..grian told him not to get on the strider...
The reason they started dog piling on each other was because of Gem's task, in short it was like a zombie apocalypse and to complete the task everyone had to be infected by killing everyone else. That task also overrided your original task if you get infected, it was a bloodbath!
