LOL perfect post. Every single one of these looks like trash besides ghosts of tushi
@SandorSoptei Hellblade 2 is the best-looking videogame I have ever seen😮🎉
@@SandorSoptei disagree hellblade 2 looks crazy af and can't wait to dive into another hellblade experience
😂
@@SandorSopteiHighly disagree. Hellblade, I've been waiting for.
Thank you for adding the game titles to the progress bar annotations.
Right? I was finally able to turn a 10 min video into a 30 second one.. lol 😂
@@ManinaCAGEI’d say that’s why they don’t cause people don’t watch the full video
Just say timestamps lmfao
@@ManinaCAGE Typically I am listening to these videos, not watching them. If something sounds interesting I can now pause it and see which game he is talking about.
When you click the screen it says the game instead of the number were on , thank you for doing that I suggested you guys do that . Hope you guys keep doing that.
Yeah. In every video of Gameranx it should be like that. It makes things easier.
My suggestion got pinned on one of their videos couple days ago, i'm happy they actually went with it lol
Every once in a while I notice they do that. Far and few between though. I hope they keep it like this.
I think doing this might end up reducing the "time spent watching" metrics and people are just skimming through the chapters and end up watching only a few
@@dasudasd I skim through regardless. FF to the beginning of each number section, then skip to the next if idc about that game.
Ghost of Tsushima during the lockdown was a gaming moment for me!
That whole year was good tbh
It’s an amazing game. But saying it’s an Assassin’s Creed game is simply not true.
That and last of us
For real, I have warm memories of that game and TLOU2 during lockdown.
same...i bounced back and forth between that and cyberpunk2077. it was a pinnacle of my gaming life.
Thanks for adding INDIKA to the list, it really means a lot! I hope you're going to love the game when it releases (very soon)!
Ghosts of Tsushima PC❤ Hellblade 2❤
Bet you dont actually buy any of those. Love PC games. Hope PS release more games on pc so we can play em for free. Nintendo games are already free. This is why PC are the best. Build a great PC for $3600 and it will pay back for itself with all these free games. ⚓
Those 2 are top and third I’m curious about is prince of Persia
@@Tinbeef22 If you can afford 3K, I'm sure you can afford to pay $60.
@@mobarakjama5570 nahhhh. All the money already went into the PC. But you will have endless amount of games.
Ghosts of Tsushima PC indeed
Thank you for adding the game titles for the timestamps instead of the old 1-10. ❤
Homeworld 3 looks like it will light my fire with the RTS genre again 🔥
Just hope they learned their mistakes from HW2.
Can't believe V Rising is missing from the list. May 8th they come out of Early Access, and it's a huge leap forward. It's rare to see an Early Access game serve its' true purpose these days, but V Rising is doing it right. The mix of ARPG and survival craft + the vampire aesthetic hits different. It's also great for solo or coop, and has PvE and/or PvP with tons of customizable server options. There's also mod support. I love the game so much that I feel like a fanboy talking about it
It isn't rare in the slightest, see it all the time.
Criminal not to have V Rising...
Surprised I didn't see it either, I'm definitely picking V Rising up again, I'm hyped.
Prison architect 2 got delayed until september
Wait, i didn't know that. RIP
It sucks
Delays are good news, these days
Yeah I saw that just the other day.😢
In their live streams it looked complete, but yeah it probably is a good thing.
Ghost of Tsushima is beautiful in every aspect: story, graphics, music, and gameplay. PC gamers, this game is a treasure.
I've been hyped up ever since the anouncement!! Finally get to experience this gem :D
I always say its one of the best looking mediocre games i have ever played. Story music gameplay.. generic at its finest.
Won't be getting it on PC. Played it on PS5. it was enough for me. Extremely beautiful repetitive game.
I hear it plays like an assassin's Creed game.
@@acefrehley28 I hear it as well, I wouldn't agree though, there are similar stuff, but not all of the gameplay. I guess the common part of the gameplay is sword fight, which is pretty satisfying.
I absolutely cannot wait for Senua 2 - I loved the first one so hard.
When I saw Senua in the thumbnail, I couldn't click on this video fast enough. We've been waiting so long for the sequel. Can't wait to play it 🥹
The music in Homeworld 2 was 11/10, I would expect something similar for this one.
👍
May will be a great month to catch up on games in my library backlog. 😊
The Rogue Prince of Persia, Wuthering Waves, Nine Sols(finally it's coming out), Ghost of Tsushima and Little Cat Big City~!
“Prison Architect” is such a wild entertainment concept. How dystopian
World of goo was insane. I remember growing up not even in this country playing it and then playing it again as an adult when I moved here.
Indika looks so arthouse.. I’m really inclined to say it reminds me a lot more of old cinema than any game I’ve ever played. Specifically Persona by Ingmar Bergman and a bit of Tarkovsky’s work too. I’m really looking forward to it.
great take. im all for it.VERY cinematic. (Persona has been on my list for a long time. time to finally watch it. thanks for the reminder. )
I remember playing World of Goo when it was a part of the Humble Bundle back in the day. I remember being pleasantly surprised I was playing it for free yet it was so weirdly fun. Cool that there's a sequel after so many years.
Im so glad you guys turned me on to Banishers. I would have never heard about it otherwise. And I am very much enjoying it.
Nice I'm playing banishers currently too! As a scotsman it's cool having a scotsman as the main character
Great video! Is there any info when the Before You Buy for Stellar Blade will be out?
I heard the embargo will be lifted on 24. this month
I completely forgot about Nine Sols. I loved the demo and I've got to say the boss was an quite the challenge! I'm not good enough to master the combat but it's still enjoyable.
Don’t ever say that… you’re good enough to master anything in life with confidence and practice. Anything is possible when putting your mind into it
@@LucidLukatelling people crap like that on the Internet is the most useless thing
@@manwithballsonarm6775it's not crap it's positiveness sucka go touch grass
Nine Sols and Morbid: Lords of Ire are my must-plays for the month. Might check out Hellblade 2 depending on which PC I'll be around (whether it can run it well). Ghost of Tsushima will be a winter game. 1000xRESIST was a fairly interesting demo. Might grab it, depending on the price point.
I'm so excited for Hellblade 2, if only to experience what they did with the sound design again! Never thought that would be something that could get me hyped, but the first game did such cool things with the sound.
I remember World Of Goo! That was the only pc game we had that was physical. 😂 back then when pc had a disk slot.
I just want Little Nightmares III already.
Hell yeah Little Nightmares is my game.
@@alexoelkers2292 nice. You know what’s up.
YES! I hope we at least hear from Mono in it.
How was little nightmare 2?
@@randomdude7221 really good. Looks absolutely amazing. Definitely worth playing.
Aye was just looking to see if yall uploading and it says 3 min ago hell yeah ! Love the videos always
Indika is the only one I'm getting this month. It looks so unique, and quite well done too. Anyone who hasn't seen much about it should check it out.
One of my favorite videos every month
I'm already looking forward to Elden Ring DLC being No. 1 next month
Thanks for announcing Little Kitty, Big City. Looks like an absolutely adorable game and I can't wait to give it a shot.
Not everyone might be aware of it, but Homeworld 3 was initially planned to be released in March. And back in February there was a sort of 'open beta' demo that was all about the new coop mode. However the overall player reception after playing the demo was rather negative as there were many things people didn't like. So Blackbird Interactive went and delayed the launch date from March to May.
"you are a little kitty lost in the big city" priceless
Falcon loves being Frank
The gaming industry is in trouble in my opinion. They’re just making games to put out and seem to not care what the gamers want. Here’s my wish list: Remakes: Soul Reaver Legend of Dragoon Original Splinter Cell RE5 A legit open world zombie game would be nice as well. I never thought I would see the day where I lose interest in playing video games but it’s hard not to lately.
I remember playing Endless Ocean on the Wii and it "needed" some addon I think was a mic but I never used it. Was kinda relaxing just taking photos and filling out the aquarium.
Ghost of Tsushima is such a beautiful game
It truly is... i wish the rest of it was up to par.
I still remember it blew tlou2 out the water and was players choice goty
Sad that Hellblade wont be on ps5. Looks amazing
Yet…
@@jimbodavis1944 all sony has to do is offer some first party playstation games to xbox and I am sure Phil would give playstation hellblade...
I had no idea there was another Senuas game coming out, thank you!! So excited!
I'm thrilled about Nine Sols. The demo was absolutely incredible, and I've played it multiple times because I loved the art style and combat. I can't wait to see this game finally come out!
Hellblade 2 is another of those "wait, it isn't out yet? I've been seeing trailers for it for years" games for me.
Hell yeah, always pumped for a Falcon video!
It's weird as someone who started playing games in the 80's and had a bunch of Codemasters games because they were the budget option, and obviously as a child I didn't really have money, that they still exist and are turning out AAA games is wild. Hell the Dizzy games are formative moments in my gaming childhood.
I don't know what they were doing before GRID, but GRID was incredible and absolutely AAA and that was back in the late 00's I've paid to attention to them ever since tho I have zero interest in F1
@@cenciende9401 they started off making budget games for the ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64 and Amiga. You could pick them up for £2.99 a pop. Mostly alternated between sport "simulators" and Dizzy games. As a child from a family that didn't have a lot of spare cash I could only dream of spending £9.99 on a full price game. Not that you really had to, we traded copied tapes and disks like sweets at school. Bizarrely because I could actually afford budget ones I actually bought those.
Nine Sols' artwork reminds me of Spiritfarer which i think is a beautiful looking game too.
Prison Architect 2 got delayed until September a few days ago btw
👍
Getting Paper Mario Thousand Year Door Remake when it comes out!
Homeworld 1 and 2 seemed well received and this sequel is like 5 gens later I think the jump in tech will be very impressive and garner a lot of attention.. just a guess haven’t played any of them yet but the fact they been working on it for 21+years is wild
Hellblade: Senua's Saga is the game I am playing next month. Ghost of Tsushima I will get come Black Friday. 👍🏾
We saving money with this one bois!!!!
Actually May will cost more for me then April did
#8 ~ I'm a what?! Escorting who?! Where?! Why?....
So excited for Hell Blade 2! Already preinstalled on my xbox. I’m hoping it’s like the first one where playing it with headphones is a must
For those who haven't played og Homeworld: It's a Warcraft/Starcraft quality-level RTS in 3d space (xyz axis) by Relic Entertainment If Blackbird Studios can come close to the og, quality-wise, HomeWorld 3's gonna be a banger.
Last year and this year are just absolutely stacked with quality games
Ong bro my wallet is suffering 😭
This year?! Disagree. Strongly.
This year is nothing like last year… just stop
@@Joe-no7gsNot only Dragons Dogma 2 is better than every game released last year but there will be also MGS3 and Silent Hill 2 remakes
@@thoru4367 DD2 had some issues (I still really liked it) and SH2 Remake is not looking good. But we still have Stellar Blade, Elden Ring DLC and Wukong coming this year. I'm personally really looking forward to those.
There are no May 2024 games that I'm interested in
For me,only ghost of tsushima, since i dont have a playstation
Same here
Ok...
Picky picky lol
No one cares
I just hope that senuas will get VR version as the original did. First one in VR was just such a game changer ❤.
Honestly, I think Multiversus should have got a bonus mention its coming out in May I think, I personally really enjoyed the game as a drop in drop out kinda game with friends. If they rebuilt it using unreal 5 and took the Homeland sky route of reinvesting the money into the game it should be much better this time around, I don’t mind live service if it’s fun.
13:30 looks like "Untitled Goose Game"
I love Falcon but my bank account hates him 😂😂
Im excited for homeworld 3. I remember playing the HW2 with a friend for hours. We played against each other with bot but worked together to get materials and defend against the bots, until we could team up and take them all out, then watch our fleets take each other out in an epic cinematic fight. Good times :)
Remember that Dolphin game (ecco the Dolphin) for Dreamcast? It reminded me of that underwater diving game. I wasn't expecting that to be so fun. Didn't it come with the Dreamcast system?
Still looks like FF7 rebirth is GOTY
You misspelled dragons dogma
😂😂😂😂
This is a really slow year for gaming, seems like a long filler until next year
Not if you're into rpgs. I've played four bangers this year so far plus Pacific drive which was absolutely amazing. There's a lot of good games so far
If pacific drive is ur high bar for good game... your opinion is not valid. Slow year for good games indeed.
@@ManinaCAGEok judgemental snob who probably hasn't played it, what would you consider was a good game that came out this year?
@@bradtraq1 nothing that’s the point
@@bradtraq1Helldivers 2 was miles fking better than that dumb rogue like car running detective jank game just being honest....and granblue fantasy and dragons dogma 2 and eyuden chronicles 100 heroes
Not related to this video but I recently came across "Your only move is HUSTLE" and thought it was an amazing way to teach people who don't understand fighting games on how frame-data in fighting games actually works. I think it would be cool to have a series that talks about games that are simple and cheap entry-points in to different types and styles of games
Endless ocean is one of my favorite childhood games and sparked my love for marine biology. Luminous is a must play for me
Reminder Senua's Saga: Hellblade II is in 30 fps lol!!!
So does ghost of mediocre on pc in 4k. 😂
@@ManinaCAGE no it won't lol
So... do you know how many great 30 fps games there are....
Indika and Senua's Saga 2 are the only ones I'm interested in and I'm really excited about both.
Little Kitty In The Big City or w/e at the end there as a bonus kinda reminds me of That Goose Game in appearance. Though better looking.
*UNTITLED 'CAT' GAME*
Lmao that's exactly what I had thought too
Another Falcon video, another butchering of the name Sekiro 🤦
Eiyhuden Chronicles is looking like a great retro rpg, also releasing this month
I never go into Homeworld 2. But I love me a space sim/themed game ill definitely check it out.
Another rubbish month for gaming. Guess I'm saving 60 bucks.
Have you played hellblade?
so a pretty dry month.
I'm getting a serious POP2 mixed with Aladdin on Genesis vibe here and I can't wait to relive my childhood!
Dont have a console Very hyped for both ghost of tushima & Hellblade 2 I loved hellblade 1, Very Unique & gave me lot of scares & goosebumps. can't wait to get my hands on Hellblade 2
Pro-tip: Falcon talks so slow, I watch all his videos at 2.25x speed.
Atleast he is heard is all that matters
At 2x speed he sounds like a crack head hahaha
🤌😂
1.5 speed is more like it
You mean 1.25?
My sister and me used to play endless ocean on the Wii, training dolphins, diving into the Marianne Trench and collecting fishes (as far as I remember) but I totally forgot about this until I saw they are making a sequel
Saw a demo of Nine Sols by Iron Pineapple. Loved it a lot!
The best aspects to hand drawn or crisp stylistic art opposed to realistic is that it ages very well, especially if the game didn't have any glaring gameplay issues. I doubt the graphical overhaul is what kept people from going back to play Paper Mario. More likely it's that people don't have gamecubes anymore. While the higher resolutions, better graphics and proper screen aspect ratio are all things that are nice, I don't think they are a big selling point at all for the game they are remaking. While a very nice addition, I think you'd generate a comparable level of hype by simply porting the original, saying "hey you can play it since it's on switch now" and most of the same people would buy it
One thing about Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 that has me really impressed is that they didn't bloat it. I think I remember hearing the main story would be like 7-8 hours. They've got all this money now, and with that they have increased pressure from executives, so it really is a miracle that they are able to make the game they want instead of being forced into making some 80-hour super open world extravaganza.
I didn't say it in the original comment because youtube comment censorship is crazy nowadays but the correct word for "super open world extravaganza" is Jiminy Cockthroat
I mean for a walking sim 6 to 7 hours is enough. You can't really make a 40 plus game for this type of game. It would bore ppl to dea th
@@faizanyousuf6567 This is absolutely the kind of game that the money people would perceive as a great avenue for a cash grab. It's got action, a popular setting and the best utilization of UE5 tech so far. They absolutely _could_ have forced the developers to make it Valhalla 2. The fact that a big studio like Xbox is putting this much money behind a linear, story focused game with no microtransactions (I think anyway) is kind of crazy. I would expect all that money to come with the asterisk that they have to make it some kind of massive open world adventure.
Did he say “Ghosts of Tsushima” is in modern day?
For all of you that haven't yet played Ghost of Tsushima but plan to -- I envy you. You're in for a real treat.
There is a very large movement on Customized Scooters on Asia yet no game has ever been made for it. The Yamaha Mio line is the most popular in decades alongside Honda with their beat/click/pcx/adv. Vespa, KTM, SYM, BMW, Suzuki and Kawasaki motorcycles are also in the market share and along with plenty of China/India brands and models too. Customizing scooters like "PC Building Simulator" and then racing them like motogp or gran turismo. Take advantage of this goldmine game idea of mine!
World of Goo reminds me of all the time I played Lemmings on Sega Genesis.
I cant be the only one to notice falcon turned kermit the frog for a second during the paper mario bit
You hit the nail right on the head with describing Ghodt of Tsushima although when I've described it to anyone, I've said the gameplay is very comparable to a mixture of Assassins Creed and Uncharted.
Hellblade 2 should frankly be on the main Top 10 list, not under bonuses... Especially given one of the games on the main list is Ghost of Tsushima's PC release.... A game that's been out for years already.
System shock remake on the steam deck is very good other than the ui being hard to read, so it should be insane on consoles
Ok, actually May is gonna be a bit lackluster and I was only considering to get Paper Mario some time this year, but Nine Souls looks absolutely great! Sekiro is one of my most favourite games ever and the game just looks really good and has some great creature design. Might get it on the Switch
World of Goo 2 was delayed to august last week but I'm still excited for it to come out!
Gameranx 2:34 will you be doing a before you buy for INDIKA?
Bunch of games that look like they should be played on the Nintendo. Can’t believe people actually play or look forward to games like this.
We dont . All the games this year suck
I’m so happy that the new prince of Persia is taking lot from the super Nintendo Aladdin game!! Makes me actually want it
i cant wait to see CJ VS The Ballas in Ghost Of Tsushima mod! someone pleaseeeeee 🤣🤣🤣
Mmm, you know what I would like, Tomba 2, that game on the PS2 and 3 was fantastic, is due for a massive upgrade with power-ups and prehistory weapons, that feelings of progress
Hi, I think jake showed his new pc a while back which had intel 14th gen in it and there have been some problems with it recently. The original bios settings are pushing intel 13 and 14th gen too hard which causes stability issues and may decrease its life. Please refer to recent instructions given by falcon northwest and change a few bios settings.
INDIKA feels same like Hellblade game, looking forward to this.
Wow that Nine Sols is surely something. It might be the best looking game in that style I've ever seen.
Oh I am so ready for System Shock! I have wanted to play this for years, but I am glad I can play this on a console with all the improvements. And bringing back the original SHODAN makes this an experience worth playing. Now if they could only bring the sequel to consoles....
Paper Mario may be that rare Switch game I buy once every 2-3 years. I can’t believe there’s a sequel to World of Goo! That’s straight from my childhood. Oh Ghost of Tsushima, the 17th just can’t get here soon enough
I'm sad Hellblade 2 will not be released on Playstation this time around 😔 The first one was one of the most immersive games I've ever played. I loved it!
