Yeah yeah, flashy cuts scenes. Games like ‘the day before’ have ruined any good faith that the gaming community had left. If developers want us to take their products at face value, start showing in game footage and actual gameplay. Otherwise you’re just wasting everyone’s time. The hype train left the station already and we won’t be fooled anymore!

To be fair, you only need to play Kingdom Come Deliverance first and then the sequel when it comes out ❤ Also, Horizon Zero Dawn 1&2 and BG3 are better than most of these, if you haven't played them yet 😊
Avowed for me. Nothing beats a first person experience. Reminded me of modded Skyrim, without the hundreds of hours of getting it done.

I hope so but hard to say! Every game I've waited for so far this year I've returned on steam before 120 minute mark sadly. Recently no rest for the wicked. Game has so many issues with the basic stuff like position to prompt NPC dialogue, shimmying ledges promoting. Just amateur issues tbh

Most of the games look alike. Crazy. How tediously boring.
So many Souls like games, because you can just whack all your assets into the unity engine, do bare minimal coding for the bosses, ai, and character attacks, and then spend the remainder doing the environment. We're literally just getting mass produced games that are 80% art and 20% substance. Which is essentially what Dark souls is to begin with.

Very likely post 2025 but thrilled to hear Bill Roper is back in action and got the rights to make Hellgate: Redemption! Original title was ahead of its time and excited to see what his new studio can do for this IP on modern hardware.

So, most trailers now only have CGI in it, we know why that is, don't we?! And because they can now make big creatures, due to our more powerful PC's and consoles, we are getting mostly "Soul's Like" games, that are pretty much all the same! Not interested in any of these to be honest! Give me the next Witcher or Cyberpunk or Divinity Original Sin, that are not in dank depressive worlds!
we really need games like spellforce, pillars of eternity, neverwinter nights or DOS.. But those games are very hard to make and are unique.. Most of devs just wants to copy pasta other genres and make money. There is no more passion and love for developing in these times

It seems they have been watching a lot of blizzard cinematics. Flying over frozen river as in WoW cinematic. The voice and appearance of the woman is very reminiscent of kerrigan from starcraft. When feet touched the ground it instantly reminded me of the lilith scene and then they added one more layer by showing their kind of lilith 😂

Elden Ring, wonderful images, great fights, but I wonder if it needs an extra layer of lies, deceit, subtle enemies and more dialogue and story. Same goes for Enotria (awesome music) wonderful set and enemies, but what for? In general graphics go up again, great stories are rare and thin, mostly just excuses to fight. Crimson Desert and Avowed seem positive exceptions.

I'm a horror game lover, and...Astropulse actually kinda repulsed me😧 Like.. it was hard watching something good being turned evil against its will 😧 Kinda reminded me of Superman III when the chick gets turned into a cyborg!!! Horrifying!!!
It gives me Prototype vibes, wonder if you play as a villain that kills everything including the other villains, and it then turns out even the good guys are villains so all you are killing are villains, and then the actual innocents are just collateral damage caused by the would be good guy villains.

Studios have really taken the Red Lyrium look and run with it huh? Ugh. I'm honestly a little bit over medieval fantasy games. I'm in dire need of a good, solid, deep companion based story driven Sci-Fi or High Fantasy RPG. The only one that really grabs me here is Exodus.

Okay, I got halfway through the video with a lot of skipping... all cinematics and cutscenes is just the most drab, unappealing thing to do. Too many games have nice or outright awesome trailers and absolutely fall short when it comes to actual gameplay and in-game graphics. This is neither interesting nor getting my hopes up. And I certainly don't get hyped by something like this anymore. If some of these turn out to have some excellent gameplay, exciting concepts, or amazing stories, good! But until I see any of these things, a video stuffed full of nondescript trailers is a waste of lifetime...

None of these games are going reach the level of Baldurs Gate 3, so it is not like were are going to experience a new Skyrim like Rpg.

two games look great, everything else looks the same. If its not a souls like, its a Final Fantasu like, or its a Scorn-like with a souls-like vibe... and some of them donèt even show gamepaly, is it a third person or a first person. -_-
Most of these look so generic and boring it hurts. The concept for Last Sentinel seems cool but a CG trailer isn't going to convince me.

So with even the slightest teaser trailer I can tell the protagonist for the new mass effect is already going to be a tired girl boss. I wonder how BioWare loves losing money. Seems like it would not be a good strategy if you want your studio to survive.
