One of my favorite boxers in GGG...I love his respect for his opponents and his demeanor in and out of the ring...No trash talk...I even remember him saying 'sorry' during a fight to one of his opponents when he caught him with an illegal shot...I actually thought he won both Canelo fights and was a bit shocked by those results...Big fan here from the UK

Hey brother i have to definitely agree with you. Gennady Golovkin is the people's champ as well as my own. I love the way he keeps pushing his body in his late thirtys . It gives me hope that i can be as hopeful in my late thirtys too. I'm 35 now .

Love the way he leads with his right hand for combos without going full southpaw as well. Reminds me of how I boxed only he does it a lot better lol

I dont think we can compare what he does in one fight to hagler. Hagler was an actual switch hitter. Ward was moreso like Hagler and there's only one guy since Id call a switch hitter of this era.
Love the respect they showed each other at the end of round 1 and 2. Really really like seeing this in sport. Also, this is my favorite ref in all martial arts. He's so enthusiastic!

I can’t remember which is which at the moment but one of those fights definitely went Canelos way I think it was the 2nd one
@@icey2203 It's like Teddy Atlas said Jabs count too. Canelo had a few more power punches but GGG had a lot more jabs. So at worst it would be a draw, but not a win for Canelo

@@savagemode4208 I prefer to watch canelo fight over GGG, canelos combos and handspeed are incredible, he has turned into a master boxer with amazing ring iq in the last 8 years. But having said all that GGG won both fights clearly. That's just my opinion but I respect your opinion 👍

I don't know why but even his interview after the fight bring a happy smile to my face. 🤣
I love GGG so much and it has always bothered me how late in his career he just let people tee off on him. No head movement, just trade punches when he is absolutely capable of being a serviceable defensive fighter. But at the end of the day, he is who he is. GGG!
I think it’s just lapses in concentration, it happens when you’re in there. You end up getting touched with shots that would’ve never touched you if you were on your game and on point, kinda get careless or fight to your opponents skill level
He looks defensive because this was a sparring match, till he decided to end it
