That's what I love about rat rods, there is no end to the creativity.
I hear that, man ! Love that stuff. Makes me want to get working on one. Someday....
Exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Especially now that we have smaller engine that create more power
@@joechoquette4829 endless creativity cause the canvas can be anything from an actual hot rod to a fucking ambulance truck ,,,they're all cool
You say that. But after a while they all start looking the same to me.
Love the horse shoe brake/clutch pedals in that last wagon!
Awesome! These are some of the most ominous looking machines around!!
Thanks for posting really enjoyed the mega good backyard mechanics there
Awesome creative genius and incredible automotive skills!
Wow. These are really masterpieces! 🔥
I love it! See what you've got lying around in the back of the barn, then build something radical out of it. I can't imagine this here in the UK. Or the expression on the face of any traffic officer who stopped you out on the road!💪😆
Epic video from the Hog Pit and Shady Jack's, My band split our set to do the burnouts in the middle, then resumed the music, that was awesome!!!
Love the Ford Truck. Run smoothly, fluffy tires, and all moving parts at the back
beautiful buckets of rust, very cool. glad i got to see them, thnx.
I LOVE IT!!!! GREAT VIDEO AND THANKS FOR SHARING!!!! I LOVE RAT RODS!!!!!! SO MUCH INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY!!!!
My favorite! Very good. I like it! Thx 🙏
This video is pure JOY & LOVE. 🤘😍😍😍
Steves super low big wheeler gets my vote- I've see it up close and personal and his workmanship is way over the top.
"RAT FINK" WOULD BE SO PROUD 😎
Wasn't it "Bat Fink"?......."my wings are like a shield of steel.." Him and "Karate" had a souped up Volkswagen.
@@gerhardthen8851 nope it was Rat Fink always...
Rat Fink. Giving away our age!
Hillbilly, your vids are always top notch. Thanks for sharing.
The third rod was my favourite and the last one.. the nomad was really nice too.
The Nomad was nice...but think of what it was worth before it got chopped up.... they're rare beasts.
It's NOT a nomad.
The last one!!! Perfect!!!
Loved seeing them and the locations on your video's (Shapiro Steel/Steelfest, Shady Jack's Downtown Saint Louis, possibly the Grafton River Road ). Thanks for sharing.
the grafton river road cruise was really cool.
Guys, HERE is The TRUE Savior YaH The Heavenly FATHER HIMSELF was Who they Crucified for our sins, NOT jesus, and “HERE IS THE PROOF” From the Ancient Semitic Scroll: "Yad He Vav He" is what Moses wrote, when Moses asked YaH His Name (Exodus 3) Ancient Semitic Direct Translation Yad - "Behold The Hand" He - "Behold the Breath" Vav - "Behold The NAIL"
Some of these could be in the next Mad Max movie with very little changes needed. Great machines!
Some absolute genius Hotrod machines 😆😈👍 total respect to all the builders. Works of art
I agree Garry!
Well we know where the next range of Mad Max vehicles are coming from.
I wouldn't go over any speed bumps in those - but I love them.
This is SO American, love it, from England
In my town back in the '70s there was a guy that had taken a four-door 57 and he chopped and channeled it and he made the most mini 57 Chevy that you could image.
Looks like very ergonomic and practical vehicles.
That old Hemi powered Terraplane rat was my favorite.
That Chevy at the end, is the ultimate ghost busting rig.
It is so Petersen's "Hot Rod Cartoons" George Trosley , Krass and Bernie .
These "Ride along side" vids are the best ...and that five-seven wagon at the end is truly the "Belle of the Ball" (IMHO) 2nd watch and I'll prolly watch it again (It's perfect to woodshed w/ my guitar)
The big dually diesel 'Creepin' near the end was sweet
What awesome looking vehicles ! 👍
That Ford cab over is cool!
CRAZY MAN CRAZY !!! MARVELOUS CARS. PUNKS/DRAPES/WEIRDOS ! I LOVE IT. A BIG HUG FROM BRAZIL(South America).
U got to love that 57nomad wagon.🎩
The Nomad and that Ford truck are my faves
They are all badass builds!!!💪💯❤️❤️
That second one looks so dope
6:33 this car is awsome. It genuinely looks scary. I love it.
Very nice hot rods for collection 🚗👍👍
These ratios are awesome.
Very creative rides.
This is some total Mad Max sht right here!! Awesomee!!!
That mid-engine big rig was f**king beautiful.
These are the true kings of Rat Rods
ALL OF THEM WERE AWESOME!!
This is so cool and makes me want to binge-watch Mad Max. 😍
Look at the torque twisting the Rat Rod before the Nomad....the backdrop of what I guess is Detroit suits perfectly....post apocalyptic....salvaging the detritus of Detroit... very cool.
It was in St Louis. That's Jim Davis' car "Handfull". I did all the artwork and lettering on it.
Not a nomad
These things put me in mind of the pile that grows outside the shop back door when we clean out all the useless trash and junk so we have room to work for another year!!
that nomad was the best by far holy crap did it make me smile the whole time
Not a nomad
That's one hell of a Nomad!
We used to have a lot of different contraptions running the streets any where from 66 mustang 2+2 oo a early bronco frame sitting on huge tall swampers ,,all the way to a wild wheel standing 57 Chevy 4 Dr wagon that was chopped & channeled down to a mini 57 two Dr. These were daily drivers . Some of us had tail light cut out switch's & much more??
Saw that Nomad Wagon that is in the Thumbnail and at the end of the video at the grand opening of the "Decade of Wheels" Museum in Baxter Springs KS! Have some good footage of it in our video of the event. Keep up the good work! Love your vids!
thanks man
@@URBANHILLBILLYVIDEOS My pleasure! Keep the shiny side up!
Not a nomad
@@russellmooneyham3334 Regardless of what the bit of donor car left was, its still the same car we saw. Thats the actual point. Still an amazingly cool car whatever you want to call it.
@@MadMaxCars I appreciate your position. Please understand that I am from that era. Have owned two nomads, a 56, and a 55. It's just a "purist" attitude. Lol. No harm or insults intended.
Around here we call them "Junkue Wagons"!
So beautiful 🥺👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great video 👍👍
Creative massacre to the 57 wagon. Collector guys pooped when they saw this. Nice work
Really cool !
6:26 - He can make it up that hill!
The second looks awesome
Cool stuff!
nice work
Man, I love Rat Rods!
That was a great video.
Great video
Splendide !!
Not sure why but I like cab forward vehicals. They take a bit to get used to steering but I like weird stuff. Right hand drive and standard transmission is fun too. My wife's car is a 6 speed manual Ford Focus. Last year it was available off the showroom floor. She loves it and happy I could afford to get her a new one that's fun and practical.
Cuvetitas de gojur te, Late,&..
Huevo foto de chamorro, te des .
Gracias auele es yes carne, Anti grasa,, , cambias, Tu no me sale....
Eu viajo nesses carros, isso tem historia e muitos sonhos chega da arrepios !
Génial !! Vraiment sympa ! 👍👍
They were definitely some cool cars.

Speechless
Truck looking like a transformer lol nicely done
Good stuff
All of them dope
Very cool!!!!!!!!!!!!
2:21--> THREE OH TWO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! one more beayooooootuiful than the next .. rewatch!
Rat Rods Rule!
Yup!!! Hill Jacks !!!! Soo Kool.....
some great creations,,,, would love to be able to see/have some machines like these in australia ;)
Yeah not likely Rules.. and legal issues along with safety issues..
Funny, Road Warrior was what came to mind when I was looking at some of these.
Only thing I saw with a legal plate was the ‘57. How are they rat rods with a crate Hemis loaded with anodized aluminum? If you can’t see over the intake risers and it won’t stop or turn what’s the point Smokey burnouts?
So, dystopian "Road Warrior" rust and that 'thrown together' look is in...
I'm not so much into these but my friend was after the war..I gave him a shirt before he passed..
That 57 wagon was the BOMB💣💥, great look, if you call rat rods NICE🤔🤨😛
that was fun!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 that 57 chevy station wagon is epic
the station wagon having a stick shift is what I liked best Everything else I'll pass on
These scary vehicles are the work of crazy but very talented people.
SEEN ALL THIS WHEN WE WERE THERE LOL
Tonka Tuff !! But its the chevy wagon for me plz.
Mad Max has come to town !
So cool 😎
Speedbump: *Smiling in the dark
Someone destroyed a Nomad. Unforgivable!
I hoped it never ends !
2nd car is style!!!!! WOW
That's FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NOW THIS!!!!!!! IS SOME REALLY BAD ASS SHIT!!!!!!!!!
This is why America is great. These fabulous beasts wouldn't be legal in England or Germany, or anywhere in Europe probably. Brilliant.
I like the idea of something a little rough around the edges , back to the days of building on a budget . But very few of these really appeal to me , spending time and money to make it rough is defeating the idea
that's exactly right Sticks! The followers have taken over another segment of the automotive hobby. I do like the chevy wagon has a stick shift 'keep on buildin'
These beasts of hark back to the early days of Hot Rodding...even as early as before the Second World War...Ed Iskenderian modified a 1923 T- Bucket with a Ford Flathead V8 while he was apparently still in High School....and got over 130 miles per hour at Bonneville....the year was 1939. Those people were resourceful...and the drop tank stuff with Flat Head engines.
Beats the metal flake era, of over polished, and garish stuff from the '60s, and '70s.
last one best one
