“We’re very lucky to be doing what we do and if a fan wants to come up and say hi, that’s fine. You should be able to handle that, pal.” So refreshing, he seems like a genuinely nice guy.
Is that you on the picture wow pretty smile
@@joetower1766 that was hella funny
I like how despite doing some of the most insane stunts ever he’s a soft well spoken man
No he said he’s a horrible person
Rachel, you are gorgeous

And to think our parents didn't want us to watch these guys because they thought they were a bad influence. Now they are a source of inspiration.
dude i do not care what anyone else says i still think he is one of the most handsome actors around
He definitely has a natural beauty to him
Oh I am so thirsty for him
100% 😎
He is very handsome and seems like he would be very easy to talk to.
fr i’ve had a crush on him since i was little
self-aware and humble. to be admired. (16 concussions? he needs to be studied. he might be immortal)
💯 👍
He popped his eye twice! 🤣
@@ryukomatoi592 That really creeped me out just to hear when he said it

"i used to could but not anymore" Now that's a slogan
😂😂
Reminds me of that Mitch hedburg joke- I used to do drugs…I still do but I used to, too!
With all his injuries, he kept up moving forward. Even got a game character designed after him. Long live Johnny Knoxville.

He also bred tons of death through being an idiot. The man might be cool but his actions and the results are insane.

@@Gnossiene369 he does say for other people to not attempt to do the same stunts as him but people are stupid
“You should be able to handle that, pal” in reference to celebrities greeting fans. I love this and thanks for staying humble Johnny
Samuel L Jackson is another celeb who’s happy to talk to any fan that approaches him. As he puts it, they’re the reason he’s employed.
To be fair, I’m not sure if there’s more passionate/admiring fans than the Jackass ones, except for maybe Jack Black/Tenacious D fans. Most celebrities are icons, these guys are legends.
I think it really depends on what level of fame you have and what kinda fans they are...Sorry but they ARE crazy people out there that get way to obsessed or are dangerous and aren't just happy with a handshake and picture. Just ask John Lennon.
He's gonna have the best stories to tell his grandkids.
After 16 concussions, he'd better start writing them down now. :(
@@vickenator honestly, it's amazing he's alive. I didn't even know you could get 16 and still function! I hope this is his last movie for his family's sake. Though it doesn't seem like he wants to retire.
@@jhandle900 i just hope he doesnt beat himself up
“Hey kids, let me tell you about my past days”

Never realised how close he looks like Jack Nicholson until now.
+ Was gonna say that
Ikr, I always wondered that johnny knoxville looks like someone familiar but i don't know who, and at this moment i just realized that he kinda looks like jack nicholson
He even sounds like him
@@Seizurebleak I was thinking Jamie Lee Curtis
Agreed 🤣
I never thought I'd like the name PJ Clapp almost as much as Johnny Knoxville.
Sure, but you have to admit his stage name is definitely more memorable and attention grabbing. It's the kinda name that makes you think "this guy is somebody, I should know who he is". Great stage name IMO. PJ Clapp is pretty funny though.
Right?!!!!
Hi, I'm PJ Clapp and welcome to... nah, it's not working.
So people actually walk around knowing their name is Peter John? So JJ really stands for John Jacob or John John🤔😅
@@ianagulino6653 PJ doesn’t stand for Peter John
"Some people's voices would break a glass, mine would split a stump." I really like that for some reason
he's come such a long way. now hes like a dad/grandpa vibe. lovein this johnny.
I love his Grampa style sweater tshirt combo. I want that green sweater with the jackass logo he's got.
He’s Irving Zisman now!
For real! I thought that too! Can’t believe he’s 51 already! And I’m still getting used to his grey hair, but he honestly rocks it well.
"Is Johnny Knoxville a Xenomorph?" "No. I'm just old Johnny." That's exactly what a Xenomorph would want you to believe!
we didn't get this big of a press tour on the other movies, and i did not realize how likable of a guy Knoxville is. really just seems like a down to earth guy you want to grab a drink with
I tell you what, If you needed someone to play Jack Nicholson’s younger self, Johnny Knoxville would be your first choice.
Even his voice here is somewhat similar
I cannot unsee the similarities even though the thought had never occurred to me before this video
@@billpardy4094 It's the hair. Lol. 😆
I was about to comment that!
I can’t believe I am just learning Johnny Knoxville’s real name is Philip John Clapp. I can’t even imagine the opening of jackass to be “hi PJ Clapp and welcome to jackass”
well you clearly searched it since all he said was PJ Clapp and that Johnny was his middle name
It's so crazy that after watching all the things he's gotten up to, he had to go as far back as his school days to admit when he was last embarrassed. I just love this guy.
Can't remember the specific reference, but I do remember a video of an acting coach talking about embarrassment and how actors need to learn to get past it. Knoxville seems to have had no problem with that.
I'm so Blessed to live at the same time with this Legendary Man
Same here
My mom actually went to the same high school as him! South Doyle. It was called south young at the time. She graduated in 1987 though. I still live in Knoxville to this day and glad this man grew up in my families hometown✊ my mom didn’t know him very well since she was 2 years older but remembers him.
After all these years dude is still a total class act
The man, the myth, the legend.
“I used to could” lol god I love him so much
I really like Johnny man he’s so chill
I would 100% vote for a Knoxville/Wee-Man ticket
"were very lucky to be doing what were doing and if a fan wants to come up and say hello thats fine" finally a celeb whos appreciates what made him, his fans.
Oh man I always had such a crush on him 😂😂😂
Girlllll, same
same since i was a wee girl😂
Same, but honestly I didn't talk about it much, because I was in elementary school and not allowed to watch Jackass lol. 😂😂😂 The only person who knew about my crush was the girl I was friends with who WAS allowed to watch it, so I'd watch at her house and just not tell my parents. Idk, I feel like every kid in the 2000's has watched some show they weren't supposed to at one point lol.
He's still a hottie for sure.
He looks awesome with grey hair. NEver thought i'd ever say that about grey hair.
i think PJ Clapp sounds hilarious it wld have worked just as well as johnny knoxville imo
Johnny is such a wholesome guy, would love to meet him.
Johnny Knoxville is a legend. Straight up.
“Some people’s voice would break a glass, mine would split a stump.”
I’ve had a crush on Johnny Knoxville since I was in middle school… still looking good
He looks superb with his newly liberated grey hair.
I’m glad Johnny Knoxville is still doing stuff. Everything he does brings be back to the mid 2000’s when everything seemed so much brighter and people weren’t so serious about everything. Knoxville 2024!
Ah yes, The mid 2000's ... When Jackass the movie came out in 2002? Honestly this comment section is the funniest thing I have seen on youtube. What fking reality do you kids live in???
@@MeCooper Yes…? Jackass and Jackass Number Two were 2002 and 2006 respectively. Mid 2000’s. What reality do you live in?
I will never forget when I found out he voiced Leonardo in Michael Bays Turtles.
As soon as the Jack Nicholson question came up, all I could see was a remarkable resemblance that just grew stronger!
16 concussions is incredibly dangerous to his long-term health. Really hoping he’ll be ok.

It's good to see he is so down to earth and still as cool as he was back in the day
I love Johnny. My daughter and friends have met him, and he sounds like a real person, down to earth and wysiwyg. I think he's very interesting. Jackass isn't always my cup of tea, but I love his interviews. And some of jackass.
"We pay for everything we break; We're not assholes." Stand up guys.
“Hi I’m Johnny Knoxville” doesn’t get more iconic than that
Johnny Knoxville looks like the alt version of Mr. Rogers. He is even pointing to the words as he reads. Epic.
Johnny knoxvilles style is so iconic! Ive always loved it
KNOXVILLE FOR PRESIDENT!!! YES, WEE CAN!!! 🤣🤣🤣
He seems like the nicest, down to earth guy
I love that he actually answered the questions! So fun!
When Johnny was talking about being famous and approachable. My respect went up more then I can't count. I mean, it was already extremely high but he did make a really good point. 🤘
One of the best ones yet! Loved this interview
3:29 I've literally waited so long for him to answer that lol
gotta love johnny he helps so many people including steve o back then ...hes a friend i would see u can always depend on for help n reach out
I think Knoxville would make an amazing narrator.
Did Johnny Knoxville return the rental with a full tank of gas? YES
I think this is the best one of these I've seen so far.
What a genuine dude. Love him
What an absolute legend.
At least johnny said it about fans. And he looks like such a chill guy to be around.
He sounds like he's an introvert, kinda reminds me of Evan Peters and Sebastian Stan
Totally amazing video, fantastic job.
He looks fantastic with gray hair. 👌
'Can Johnny Knoxville? Probably not' 💕 just love him!
He used to could, though.
Man, i love Johnny Knoxville.
'I dont really get that embarrassed' yep checks out.

you’re awesome. My dad loved your show in the 90sand still does. I was a wee little girl at the time. Thank you for being you Johnny! Much love
He’s such a beautiful person, what a legend
Johnny Knoxville's most embarrassing moment was on Graham Norton with Joan Rivers, she made him blush.
A grew up watching Jackass. Almost my whole life. I'm 32. I love Knoxville.
He seems like such a cool guy
Legit thought the thumbnail was Jaime Lee Curtis

PJ Clap is pretty snappy…I would have kept it. 😂
He's so famous because he's brought pure joy happiness and laughter to the planet for two decades now
I love what Johnny says about fans approaching.
thanks for everything you and your friends do, it puts a lot of things into perspective
3:58 Self aware king. Reminds of when he wore the Daddy t shirt in Jackass Forever.
Love him!
i just love him!!
This is gonna be awesome
To this day you can get it Mr Knoxville
Johnny still looking Gold... 🖖🏽👽🇧🇷💕
Pound for pound, one of the best fellas in the business.
His awareness is priceless
Johnny’s knarliest stunt IMO was the blindfolded yak hit. I’d do the riot test before I ever do that.
Love this! I wish that the CKY videos would be mentioned when they talk about creating Jackass. It was the inspiration behind it all
Johnny's the man
Legendary.
I love this guy and his current natural hair color, but I do have to say I was shocked when I first saw it, made me feel SO old :p
