    • @@xeon2773 it's a complicated story, and this person keeps bringing it up on everyone's comments (quite possibly as a troll,) but I believe it's true. I do keep in mind though that the woman he had the baby with was notorious for being very abusive towards men, and he might've done that to avoid having to be in contact with the woman. I try to keep an open mind about it. It doesn't seem like something he would do; he never did that for either of his other children so something may be up. I'd recommend searching for yourself to get the full story.

    • If this is the case, I feel bad for him, with it being so public. It's really no one's business but him and his daughter's. Still I want people to not get the wrong idea, and to take everything like this with a grain of salt rather than jump to conclusions. People judge things they know nothing about far too often.

  • This is the first time I’ve seen an actor bring up a movie “that wasn’t well received” and the fact that he’s going back into the genre to try again. In one sentence, he showed so much maturity. Usually, the only time “bad projects” are brought up is during a self-deprecating joke(which is fine!, this was just really refreshing)

  • Two real-life Owen encounters. Saw him running near my brother’s house in Dallas a few years ago. He was shirtless and was pretty ripped actually. Then met him in a hotel lobby in Santa Monica once and he was absolutely the nicest guy. Took a picture with us and chatted a bit. Such a wonderful human being.

    • He has serious depression and attempted suicide. He was actually supposed to play the role of Rick Peck in Tropic Thunder, since the character is Ben Stiller's character's best friend. But they began shooting the movie shortly after Owen's suicide attempt, so they gave him time off for mental health and recast the role with Matthew McConaughey.

  • My three favorite Wes Anderson movies are the first three that Owen wrote with him: Bottle Rocket, Rushmore, and The Royal Tenenbaums. It's a shame that Owen didn't collaborate on more or write with someone else. Writing is very hard and doesn't pay like the acting jobs he's offered.

  • i met this man when he happened to come through my security station back when i was doing security screening at an airport. He's very polite and friendly. Even shy. Clearly not one of those weirdo 'celebs' who are out of touch with reality. Was saddened when i heard he was having emotional trauma. Looks like he's left that long behind. Very happy for him.   • Just saw "Marry Me" in theaters (like literally came out of theater and straight to this video) He was amazing in it! Loved the chemistry between Owen and Jen, and though I'm not a huge fan of romantic movies, this movie made me forget that and exceeded all my expectations! Love you, Owen!
