i served 4 years in the u.s. army, (1966-70) and couldn't be powder of it. it was ah honor to serve. in 1981 i went to Ronald Reagan's inauguration, the night before i went to the state dept. because carter was having a farewell dinner with the sec. of state, i was there with a handful of people, carter walked by me and entered an elevator. not 5 minutes passed when carter came back, one of the news reporters asked, is it information on the Iran hostages? the president said with teary eyes, i hope so. i felt so sorry for carter that night i guess what I'm saying is these men and women that run for this office regardless of party deserve our appreciation .

well not really, if you take the oath of office before noon you're basically pre-ordering the presidency/vice presidency, you still have to wait until 12 for the incumbent vp's term to expire
Not really. After 12 noon Trump and Pence are automatically President and Vice President. This is regardless of whether they are sworn in. Just for fun, in 1974 when Nixon resigned he was still President when in the process of leaving Andrews Air Force Base. His term expired when he was in the airplane back to California.

So Trump was in power as President for under 2 minutes and when the military stood behind him and said " it's a transfer of power to YOU the PEOPLE " and then they left up the stairs as quickly as they came down. No. The military has been in control of this country since Lincoln. Trump literally took that control away from the military and gave control of the country back to the people. But glad you at least noticed it. No one else did. This is also the real reason why they have been desperately trying to take Trump out. They want to make is Presidency illegitimate so they can act like he never had the authority to give control of the nation back to the people because they do not want to give up that power they've had since 1860.
