These cases are for people found with 1 or 2 bullets in their backpack. Bullets are small and they get stuck in the crevices of bags if they are spilled.

I don't like the idea of driving a car that could automatically put on the brakes at any given moment. Will those cars stop for a squirrel, bird, cat, etc? And if so, what about the cars behind us???

I was thinking the same thing. How many more rear-end collisions are we going to have when every single car in the country is going to slam on their brakes when they detect a few leaves or some snow flurries. If it will truly save lives and reduce accidents, I'm for it. I just worry that might not be the end result.
Virtually every new vehicle sold in America for many years has Emergency Braking Systems and NONE of those scenarios have happened. It works on radar sensors built in the grille area and identifies only large objects like cars, people and bikes. If the vehicle behind you has an Emergency Braking System it will also help prevent a secondary collision. Emergency Braking Systems have shown to have saved many lives in the few years they have existed. The cost to build them in new vehicles is minimal and explains why entry level cars have them as standard equipment.

Buying vs. rent …renting is not the way to go. When renting, you are paying a mortgage (the landlord’s). As a tenant, you are building the wealth of the landlord. Buying is difficult but not impossible. A little sacrifice will get you very far

I have a finger to point … the men arrested in Turks and Caicos flew to those islands. Why did TSA at the departure airports not detect the presence of the ammunition? Seems to me that TSA should also be under investigation!
My first question when I heard the headline
It's been documents time and time again that TSA fails annual testing for the detection of handguns, ammunition, explosives, and knives every year. To be fair, they do detect quite a few, but nowhere close to acceptable requirements. And of course they always give the same answers about doing more training, trying harder, changing policies, etc. . . year after year after year.
I was wondering the same thing. Once getting on a local flight out of Reno I had a small folding knife in my pocket. Thought nothing of it. NOT ! They took the knife and then really searched me and my luggage. I almost missed my flight and became a spectacle to the whole airport. That was in 1992. 😮

They certainly wont fix the stupidity of pedestrian's, either. They were running all the way across, likely trying to make the timer before cars were allowed to turn. You should keep in mind that these clips were likely cherry picked to make an argument. I'm also not thrilled about my car automatically slamming the brakes when an illegal jaywalker crosses the street in pitch darkness rather than walking a bit farther to a legal crosswalk. It's a lot easier to track down a vehicle and sue its owner than a jaywalker who's at fault for a collision and may run off after causing injury to a driver.
"We will not be removed by force" then protest on public property not private property.
And under our Constitution we have the 'Right' to peaceful assembly, freedom of speech, and to demonstrate or protest . . . until someone decides that we don't.

Won't work; too stupid. Yesterday I was at a red light wanting to turn right. No incoming traffic on my left so completely clear. Lady at my right standing on the sidewalk wanting to cross the street I'm waiting to turn onto. She's got her head down looking at her phone. After 20-25 secs during which I could have made a right turn at any time she stood right at the curb perusing her phone screen not moving a muscle. So, I figured I'd turn. I had my truck halfway around the corner and SHE STEPPED RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! I slammed on the brakes within 18 inches of hitting her. Never looked up, never took her eyes off the screen; just sashayed across the highway without a care or a backward look. And this was not a teenager; she had to be 30-35 years old.
