@Law By Mike, Lilo’s sister is “Nani” not Nina
Dora
0:47 seconds in and I have to object This isn’t our world we’re talking about. Completely different laws. Once upon a time gladiators had battles We even have a history with bulls (that is still legally going on) Pokémon are considered fighters just like boxers. They don’t die and they’re medically attended to. They also enjoy it so they’re not forced. I don’t know what you were thinking Mike. I’ll do you a favour and not call out the other flaws with your laws.
On Lilo and Stitch it's Nani not Nina
3:11 HOLD IT! Although kidnapping and torturing someone are serious crimes , Syndrome is also guilty for the deaths of former Supers and domestic terror, isn’t he?
Yeah, he is
@@Fascinating_world206 Agreed. He is.
And the attempted murder of the entire Incredibles family
He has killed hundreds of heros
Also keep in mind that he kidnapped the whole family
I would object to Ash’s case as he lives in a world where his government allows said animal fighting
That is true
Also the term “animal” doesn’t really work since Pokemon can be anything from electric mouse, literal magnets, dragons, ghost like beings, creatures directly inspired by East Asian mythos, and literal gods.
@@tadashihatsudai they also have human level intelligence and are consenting to those battles
and pokemon battles are considered a professional sport, hence the existence of gyms and the pokemon league, and the fact that trainer IDs, often in the form of a card or a pokedex, are a thing.
ALONG with it being kind of a cultural thing. I mean everyone from kids to big companies does it.
1:50 OBJECTION: It’s also stated in the same movie that Woody is the only toy of his kind in the entire world, so wouldn’t that give him a grand larceny charge as well if the prosecution could prove it ?
Huh cool
We have a Legal Eagle fan, I see.
Alex Bale’s Meta Theory: we’ll see about that.
*OBJECTION OVERULED MY BRO!* only lawyers are allowed to object... So are you one?
@@idehenebenezer802 Not true. You can object if you're representing yourself. You _shouldn't_ represent yourself, but you can. But only judges can overrule objections... So are you one?
2:51 Sir , you forgot all the other charges like Serial murder, Mass property damage, Endangerment Breaking and entering, Abuse, Torture, Terrorism, Weapons dealing, Unlawful imprisonment, Attempted cultural genocide, Crimes against humanity, Hate crimes, Child endangerment, Attempted child murder, Disturbing the peace, Conspiracy, Corruption, Stalking, Fraud, Child abuse, Abuse of power, Psychological abuse, Assault and battery, Smuggling, Bribery, Embezzlement, Sabotage, Treason, Theft, Con artistry, Forgery, Kidnapping, Organized crime. So that will be two death sentences, two life sentences, thirteen years in prison and hundred million dollars fine
that's wild 💀💀💀
Bro really tried the every crime challenge
What? Cultural genocide? Supers are illegal. How could you prove cultural genocide. In fact, he uses his tech to make himself a super hero. Explain, please.
Hate crimes don’t exist to a rational human being
Can we get much lower

5:00 So, you’re saying it’s okay for NASA to collect some moon rocks, but if Gru does it, he’s the baddy, just because his rock is bigger.
Objection! Your honor, pokemon fighting is spessificaly stated to be legal, with there being official tournaments hosted by the country governments themselves and becoming a trainer is mostly encouraged.
Now do South Park characters
Good idea👍
Everyone getting life
true
@@KaLoiZ-dj8cb Cartmen would actually get multiple death penalties.
Insta life for everyone
Just imagine a normal person be sentenced to jail and they go in and their cell mate is either a giant monster crab, a sentient sponge, or a 2 dimensional hand drawn character
Objection! In the sequel (I think), Gru was pardoned after joining that hero group.
8:51 15 million years doesn't even seem like a possible lifespan
Yeah no shit Sherlock
That’s what I’m saying
So , Scooby Doo wouldn't go to jail 😅 But those meddling kids would 😅
😂🤣😂🤣😂😆😆
Yea

Actually Mike, Pokémon fighting in captivity is safer because they naturally fight each other in the wild and don’t get healed. It’s the equivalent of humans playing sports.
Well, let's be real, it's a lot more like boxing than football. And combat sports are... shall we say, controversial, for a reason.
@@RabblesTheBinx well, Pokémon are capable of consenting to fight, and forcing unwilling Pokemon to fight is a crime.
You should also bring up how syndrome’s computer also says this isn’t the first time he’s done this and he’s actually killed many former supers before Mr Incredible
Actually, according to Mousait’s video on the crimes Gru commits, he would get jail time for stealing the moon, but he would be pardoned because he put the moon back afterwards.
I believe even if you put it back you would still be charged. It might be some states in the United States of America but I am unsure due to being from Australia.
@@Jinglejaco121 I don’t know; I got it from another KZhead channel that charged Gru with his crimes Here’s the link to that video: kzhead.info/sun/epefYst_eGeBeZE/bejne.htmlsi=mmuK9iOlBgnRW04c. The time stamp of when he (Mousait) charges Gru with the crime of stealing the moon (as well as the pardon/ why he was pardoned) in the video is 5:52-6:34
Didn’t he get pardoned by the AVL?
That doesn't make sense in a "real world" thought experiment. You do not get pardoned or not charged with a crime for undoing it or whatnot. .
@@SliceofBread-pz3fx Again. Look at the other video. It doesn’t have to make sense. Just look at the other video ok (please). But yes, admittedly, it wouldn’t work in the real world, I just went by what the other video said
OBJECTION stich got legally adopted right after the start of the movie the papers would just have to be changed to a child adoption instead of a dog as sitch is sentient
You’re right
If Sponge Bob Went To Jail Then Mr Krabs Is Breaking Him Out Just Because He Needs Sponge Bob To Cook The Food
We need to cook Sponge

Ash wouldn't get charged because Pokémon fighting is a legal sport
It is

True but this is taking about US law
@@Hasrhavardhan.m Yeah, and?
OK, I’m subscribed and I love your channel but you gotta understand that Pokémon battling is literally normal where they come from even enjoy it, especially when they have trainers brother sides and it’s not a big deal. It’s really entertaining actually have a good trainer that they won’t mind fighting for them sides like I said enjoy it and they seem to have a blast while doing it even thanks man❤
0:30 Objection! Your honour, Pokémon Battles are an entirely legal sport in each region Ash visits. Furthermore, Pokémon are shown to posess near-human levels of intelligence and are willing participants. I am kind of curious what the Rocket Trio would get for their crimes. Multiple counts of abduction, theft, stalking, identity theft, endangerment, selling food without a licence...
I object that fictional characters should only be held liable under the laws of their respective settings. This is specifically about Ash/Satoshi, but may also apply to SpongeBob.
I don’t know this for sure but I think the term is I move, I’m sorry, I’m not trying to be the grammar police but I had to say this because I was in 4H and FFA and have practiced parliamentary procedures. I don’t know if that is how it is in law

The end was too good! Love this vid
I don’t know about the Scooby-Doo one, they were asked to find a bad guy in disguise, this is why they broke and entered into all the buildings, so I think they might be pardoned. If not, the would only be charged with breaking and entering, not the other crimes, this is because they had permission from people to go into the buildings, they would be charged with breaking and entering if they didn’t have permission to enter the building(s).
valid point
@@Epic_Watermelon_Cat Thank you! I’m happy to see that somebody (that person being you) agrees with me.
Mike in shorts: Bizzare and crazy Mike in long form: Actually formal like a lawyer
No way a man with almost no knowledge on Pokemon said Ash would be arrested for animal fighting. Pokemon Battles are common sport in that universe. Officer Jenny isn't just one day gonna go, "I'm placing you under arrest for the crime of using Vine Whip in a normal, friendly Pokemon battle." I know you're a lawyer, but it doesn't work like that.
Another LawByMike video makes my day bright again
Syndrome had a direct had in Killing more than a half dozen Supers , he'd be looking at ALOT more than 40 Years.
“GOLDEN GAVEL!” That was most needed for the most unneeded reasons.
Laws of Pokemon would be irrelevant to their world, especially for how normal it is. Probably (non-consensual) trafficking (if they traded) is the furthest he could be charged.
This is all well and good. There's just one problem. As the worlds biggest (casual) Lilo and Stitch fan, I'm obligated to be infuriated by this... Her name is Nani.
None for ash. In the Pokemon world theirs a whole registration process, it's a full legal government sponsored thing
I never thought I would see Law By Mike talking about the crimes in Scooby Doo😂
Squidward: gee I sure do love to drive my new Chevy Silverado SpongeBob: Hi Squidward!!
This was a video i didn't know i needed. Funny yet insightful stuff Mike.
Well tai lung isn't a villain he would get long time in prison for assault or murder of many people in the valley of peace(ionic that the place called valley of peace suffered this much violence and if so should shifu also have time in prison because he basically fueled tai lungs desire to be the dragon warrior and misguided him (accidentally) so he was the passive party in the crime while tai lung was the active party. So how long would he be in prison for?
Who else loves how Mike gets straight to the point?
He doesn’t all the time
Hold up Lilo sister wouldn’t be under arrested because cobra bubbles is with the government but allow them to have stitch even supporting them as long as she’s a fit guardian so nani and Lilo would actually be fine
Objection. Ash wouldn't get any time. In the Pokemon world, mystical animal fights are legal... amoral, but legal. Still... he might be on the hook for a few hundred dollars, after all, I don't think he ever repaid Misty for he bike.
I love how Mike is talking calmly at the video
0:50 OBJECTION! im near certain that in canon the pokemon also enjoy battling.
Spongebob also did kidnapping, murder, attempted murder, arson, being drunk in public places, DUI (I believe) breaking people out of prison, destroying the Krusty crab and boating school many times, endangering Miss Puff multiple times, driving without a license and many more 😂
I would say. Definitely don't pay the ticket and contact a lawyer. Lawyers can represent you in court and they know how to deal with your case better than yourself and you don't have to miss work/school/etc. Sometimes can be cheaper than some fines.
THERES NO LAWS AGAINST THE POKÉMON BATMAN
Were is Riggy, he has committed over 7000 crimes
Frrrr💀💀💀
Wouldn't Mystery Incorporated be a group of vigilantes. Another question would be do they have a private investigator's license.
#1 is just useless bc youll be ordered to pay it once the court has ruled #2 doesnt work bc the clerk of court has our court dates preselected, so if you dont get the one assigned youll get a different court date for the sams schedule. #3 cops dont calibrate their own radar, companies do it, and most police use lidar which is checked daily. And prompts it prior to use so none of these will likely work, however there are 2 surefire ways to beat any speeding ticket
Dora crossing the border isn’t new the reboot came out yesterday and she still fails 🆕
5:24 When you go from breaking American law to international law, you deserve a special place on the list.
If Power Rangers were to be given a crime, they'd be mostly charged with endangerment to public, disrupting public peace, and if their zords are vehicle based add in speeding, wreckless driving, vehicular manslaughter (there is a time in Kiramager where one of the zords rammed against the enemy, AS A CAR.) although some of these are disregarded for the SPD
I don't know... there's sometimes a difference between _owning_ and _holding or possessing_ something. How can you be charged with theft if whatever you took doesn't legally belong to anyone? If you trap a fly in a cup you can't be charged with theft because no one owns the fly. If they wanted to charge you for the theft of the moon, it would have to be considered collective property of all nations. And about owning, well, even if Gru steals something it doesn't mean that he's now entitled to it. Now I'm not a lawyer but I'm having multiple doubts on the sentences for these characters. Just because Dora goes out with a monkey doesn't mean she owns it. And it's exactly that! Canonically, she *doesn't* own Boots! He has a dad who lives as a civilian in a tree, and even works as a carpenter. In this world, many of the animals who live there are civilians, there's an octopus who runs a business.
Most of these are fine like Waternoose, Spongebob, Mystery Inc, Al, and Dora I guess but the others are either completely invalid or extremely obvious. Ash is from a world that works completely differently to ours where those things aren't illegal. Tai Lung was already in prison presumably for life its not like him beating up some guards changes anything. We already knew he was a horrible criminal. Similarly with Syndrome we already know he's this horrible villain. He kidnapped a bunch of people and blew up a plane and its extremely obvious that yeah he'd be locked away for a long time. It baffles me that the blowing up the plane and then later putting people in danger as well as kidnapping a child weren't brought up in this video at all. Also he's dead. And Gru is another one that is not only extremely obvious but also in the second movie he was basically pardoned by the AVL so it doesn't really matter what he did in the first movie.
Ah yes, good sponsor, Opera. I'm sure they never had a shady history, never had a terrible privacy policy, and weren't bought by a Chinese company that works for the Chinese government.... right? Oh wait, that's exactly what happened. 😐😑 Shame on you Mike for selling out.
Finally, normal opera and not opera GX
There’s nothing wrong with either
@@Combineboy Opera GX is overhyped
Given this, I'm wondering how many death sentences the characters in, say, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners would be catching under a legal system like ours. But that's a world where someones de jure degree of criminality is basically "yes" and de facto is "how much have they pissed off a corporation?"
Also gru Forged his identity by claiming to be a doctor Comited grandlarceny 3 time at least (moon, crown, pendant) And more
Charged with breaking the treaty of non ownership of outer space. Also charged with destruction of government property by destroying their landing sites of the moon.
This is brilliant 😊
For LawByMike: in spongebobs charges you forgot to mention that he would be charged of Vehicular Manslaughter for how much people spongebob ran over.
He’s coming to know his audience :) It’s pretty cute seeing my kids pay attention to many of his posts here. He gives them such an extensive scope of applications and applicable considerations regarding behaviors they easily see or hear of in the news, but also their cartoons! 😂❤🎉
Mr Waternoose would also be charged with “torturing”, because he tortured the children.
But he didn't. The scream extractor was a brand new process where boo was going to be the first victim
@@derekhandson351Really? Wouldn’t he then be tourturing Boo though, or no?
Ok i think i may agree with gru’s charges here because he also adopted kids, and saved possibly the whole world atleast once so id say it evens out a bit
I thought Mike would talk about all the damage his Pokémon did. Like telling his Pikachu to use powerful electric charges on Team Rocket.
It was self defense
Pretty good man! I want more!
1st of all gru is only breaking half of the crime Technically the space treaty says that country can't own not an induvidual 2nd there should be a SAPA (security of anomaliatic property act ) toexsempting/pardonded from invading property/facilities
Mikes the idea of a good lawyer to me. I wonder though, whens the last time you actually practiced Law Mike? I'd imagine you have a practice where you sit at the top
honestly did not see Lilo & Stitch coming, but in context Nani unfortunately makes a lot of sense
Mr law by Mike you make learning about laws and the legal system cool 😎
Dude you can't put ash in jail for animal fighting, he lives in a word who's society is based around pokemon battles, we also know from sun and moon and sword and shield that gyms, stadiums and the pokemon league are government aproved buildings, also in the anime is seen officer Jenny batle team roket or other criminals with her growlithe in the anime multiple times, so sayng that Ash would get arested for animal fighting is stupid, considering that animals don't exist in the pokemon world
Hey law by mike let's not forget that much of these characters would also have more charges in which I would like to know more about
Were getting our data stolen with this sponsorship🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
5:20: if a man releasing millions of ladybugs in NYC can be charged with ecoterrorism this man can too
Mike, you forgot thousands of counts of Vehicular Assault as well as Hit and Run for the Spongebob case.
Nah bro shaggy gonna have to start going off camera for his adventures now
5:03 yeah yeah... These laws are intact until people see something valuable
About the ash one Seeing as both government employees and government funded events involve Pokémon battles in the Pokémon world Pokémon battles are seen as a legal sport but presumably improper use of Pokémon or reckless battling is a crime As for the SpongeBob one seeing at Mrs Puff is often arrested for SpongeBobs actions is can be presumed that in the case of a student drive that the teacher is in charge of making sure they follow the rules of the road and do not do anything reckless so SpongeBob gets slightly less crimes
Definitely needs to be a part 2
07:16 bro mike is trying so hard to hold back his laugh 😭☠
Dora, being an animated character, never ages so will ALWAYS be 7 years old. She wouldnt be fined nor jailed though she would most likely lose Boots. It also seems she may have run away from her guardian(s), I dont watch Dora the Explorer, so there might be consequances for any guardian. As for Ash since he is a teenager probablny not of the age of majority his parents would probably face consequences. You actually covered Lilo and Stitch properly.

Syndrome flat out murdered multiple super heroes over a span of time. So....wouldn't the bigger is be the capital murder charges? I mean most courts would want to go after the most serious of the crimes, no?

Anyone else remember that episode of Ben 10 omniverse where he’s sent to that galactic court or something. Bro should’ve had Mike on his side
Didn't tai lung also escape prison adding more time? And he also fought shifu, po, and destroyed multiple homes or walls of the jade pallace. So how is his sentence that low?
