The Russian had this stunned look on his face when it was over. He couldn't believe what had just happened. World Champ and he oustcored his opponents 37-0. The bigger the match, the better this guy wrestles. Just goes to show you how great JB has been for the last few years to hold him off.

  • I agree Dake looked a little off here, but he definitely looked more himself in the second period, a little more aggressive, a little more active. Sometimes you walk on the mat a little too relaxed, like you warmed up a little too long, your routine is off, nerves can do that. Long day, big match you start warming up before you should to counteract the stress. That's what it looked like to me, he was too calm, to relaxed, second period he snaps out of it, but too tired and behind to do anything about. Well that's my opinion from behind a screen. The Russian though, great strategy, great attack, good wrestler.

    • DaBoss 01 why is it so hard to believe that maybe he just ran into a better wrestler that shut him down? He seemed to quit after he tried to throw the Russian and just ended up on his butt. Also dake is a whiner. He always turns and looks at the ref for help when he's not getting his way. Like a spoiled little kid.

    • It's Golden Grand Prix Ivan Yarygin 2018 in Krasnoyarsk, 26th and 28th of January. Looks like Dake is not ready for this timezone. Это Гран При Ивана Ярыгина 2018 в Красноярске. Похоже американец был совсем не готов к такому часовому поясу, потому что на Чемпионате Мира через полгода он его победил всухую 12:0.

  • Dake will lose every match he wrestles if he keeps waiting to capitalize on the other wrestler's mistakes. Guys at this level don't make mistakes. Cornell is not an Iowa or Oklahoma - it's not Dake's fault he has been trained to be patient - not to be aggressive. Gadzhimagome will win every match they wrestle! He's a much better technician.
