In most wrestling circles, Wrestling coach's ACTUALLY HELP young wrestlers because of the complexity of the situations they get in... and keep them aware and driving. Now what we are witnessing here is TOP world class competition.. In this situation the coach is more a motivator do to the extreme level of their talent. As talent level's go down, wrestlers actually will get themselves both in situations that they themselves cant figure a way out...Thats not all of it in a nutshell, but for many who come here new to REAL wrestling . Thank You. )

    @MrJosephdrummond@MrJosephdrummond5 жыл бұрын
    • The USA wrestler won on criteria. Freestyle wrestling encourages and is judged by aggressiveness. The rules favor the wrestler who has scored points in a more aggressive manner versus other points being awarded for more passive actions such as stepping out of bounds resulting in one point. That's why each of these two wrestlers were put on a "shot clock" meaning they were being too passive and the judge put them on a clock that requires scoring a takedown or else they will award one point to the other wrestler. The ITA wrestler did not succeed in taking down the USA wrestler so USA got a point. USA then went on to be placed on a shot clock and he did succeed at the takedown and was rewarded two points. USA wrestler had criteria over ITA because of the two point takedown even though they both had the same amount of points at the end of the match.
