  • The content of these videos is nothing like Seinfeld, but the style is very similar in that Joel has an awesome way of turning really thoughtless trivial events into plots that are both coherent and engaging. It's talent to be able to stretch a 10 second premise into a 5 minute video without pacing being slow or adding filler unrelated to the topic of the story.

  • 0:12 is so freaking intense, and it’s not the performances. The yellow doors just blow me away. Full props to your production designer and art director. In fact, kudos to the entire art department. They never get enough credit. Just look at those doors and tell me that they’re not pulling all the emotional weight in that scene, setting us up for what is to come. All that symbolism and meaning packed into yellow doors. I immediately put the doors at #49 on my list, but by the end of this video, their position was a solid #46.
