We didnt get to see much in that fight really Jan's takedowns couldn't have been better calculated. No one could've defended those in that exact exchange.

You have to consider the fact that Jan was significantly bigger than Izzy. Hes essentially a heavyweight that has to cut to 205 whereas Izzy came in under the 205 limit. Vettori is a big middleweight but hes not as strong nor as big a Jan.
Everybody knows that Izzy is not the master of grappling but is hard to take him down. The italian dream knows that will be very hard to win the belt. Come on Marvin, make your and our dream come true.

Vettori is as predictable as dusk and dawn. No way he beats Adesanya
The first fight tells me two things: -Izzy outstrikes Marvin any day of the week blindfolded -Vettori can take Izzy down and maintain position outside the cage as long as the ref doesn't stand them up. I wouldn't be so sure this fight will be as easy as the Costa fight, don't get fooled by the appeareance, Vettori's not simply a brawler, his chain wrestling is among the best in the division. If his chin holds up he has the skillset to steal some rounds, especially in the later ones where Adesanya's TDD has shown glitches. If Vettori's gameplan is to wrestle for 5 rounds it could be a long night at the office. Izzy's TDD is almost flawless when using the cage and defending the first attempt (like in the Brunson fight), but if you commit to chain wrestling and move him towards the center of the octagon, it gets interesting pretty quickly. Honestly can't wait for this match
Not based on his performance against Marv 1 he was going back the whole fight ,you assume this based on his first fight which he didn't counter punch in once or showed he could hurt the man lol

Adesanya is an excellent fighter, and comes from the defeat against Blachowicz, so he will want to show that in the middleweight category, he is the champion. It has been a long time since the fight they had on April 14th 2018. Both have greatly improved, especially Marvin, who has improved his skills especially in grappling. It is obvious that Israel will expect a ground fight from the Italian, who will have to hide his takedown attempts, during the striking phase. Another important thing will be the gas tank, in fact it will be essential, especially for Marvin, not to waste too much energy, and just try to bring Izzy to the ground in the last rounds. his great desire to win that belt can be a great help in this difficult match. Never underestimate the opponent, but always have the right determination and knowledge of your skills. Go Marvin, hold up there is Italian pride, and take that belt to Italy ... !!!

Adesanya has a wicked chin at the right side. You touch it he goes down. OK, he is very difficult to catch but Marvin left straight is very accurate. Marvin will stand with him and Izzy will out strike Marvin in the early but the numbers will be balanced at the end. If Izzy doesn't respect him and becomes over confident in order to humiliate Marvin he will gets caught and dropped by Vettori. Vettori will march forward cutting angles try to clinch him the all time. He will not be intimidated by Izzy. From the 3 round Vettori will dominate him with take down, ground and pound he may submit Adesanya in the last round. I don't see Marvin dropped by Izzy. I see Marvin winning over and over
Izzy has literally been dropped 0 times in his UFC career and he's fought the likes of Whittaker, Costa and Romero. The only avenue for victory for Vettori is on the ground. He doesn't have the footwork to be able to close off Adesanya's routes and anything he comes with will get countered.

Especially seeing how his fight with Jan went I doubt we’ll see Izzy get taken down more then twice if even at all.

Guys this is simple to tell. First, do not jugde vettori vs izzy based off Jan vs Izzy (you just can't compare those- also Jan had a tough time in there with just a middleweight fighter) . Sec, Izzy coming back to prove two things : 1. He is still the goat; 2. He actually won because he is superior to vettori, so he'll beat him cleaner this time. Further, vettori vs Holland wasnt anything better than Vettori vs Izzy. Izzy has added so much power in his striking that vettori will most prolly get knocked out. Izzy beats Vet today to the future. No matter what vettori does or how much he improves, he just can't beat Izzy. And he won't win any belt as long as Izzy reigns. @@MMAAccess Thats true if we’re only looking at the score card but there are a lot of factors that play into a spilt decision. One judge can rule in the favor of pressure fighting while another can choose the fighter with less volume but more significant strikes landed. Great vid btw 💯

izzy's hardest fight was with jan cuz he lost
Jan was successful in taking him down because of the weight differential between them. Despite been taking down, Jan could not do much... I don't think Izzy would be taken down that much in the middle weight division!!!
