    • Stephen Sommers wanted Frasier, but his schedule wouldn't allow it, so he asked him to do a cameo. He's Rick O'Connell's grandson, so Sommer's Mummy trilogy is tied to his G.I. Joe movies

  • Nothing to do with the Movies, but GIJOE toys were my absolute jam. I spent every cent I had on them for many years. They eventually got stored away into giant totes. A few years back, I gave everything that was still alive to a very good friend's kids. At one point, it was hundreds of guys, 25+ vehicles, most crotches and thumbs intact; Every Snake-eyes, Storm-shadow, Cobra Commander variation, and countless other guys, Rolling Thunder, just a TON of mid-late 80's stuff. Those boys still tell me to this day that they play with them every day. They'll outgrow them soon, but hopefully some future child gets to use them and they're passed down again. My older brother and I would spend hours preparing every guy and vehicle for all-out war; equipping each unit with the appropriate ordinance. Often by the time we were done, we'd have lost the urge to even play and just spend another half hour putting everything away haha. Good times.
