great heatset for the price only issue i had is the base of microphone cracks with moving mic up and down. was like 5 months of use😢 so it dangled but quickly put rubber bands to hold before internal wire broke

“Best” I would use very loosely ive gotten 2 pairs of these and both times where being the mic just out of nowhere just stopped working picked up zero audio went through all my settings did everything I could think of and I would get my mic to work for a few days then back to picking up no audio so I have up on them

I got mine worked almost for a year then the mic broke. Still worked but the plastic broke also apparently multiple others had theirs brake in the same place. I fixed it. Then the chat mixer was messed up. Wouldn’t work like it was supposed to wasn’t processing the fact that I had changed the chat mixer more than half the time. Then the damn thing would only turn on for a few seconds before turning off on its own. Maybe your experience is better but mine works well but it breaks a lot.

I just got my headset today and the first thing my friends tell me is that I got scammed. The mic quality is worse than my $25 Sony headset that I got from Walmart. In fact the mic quality is so bad that I either mute myself or get muted by others due to that fact that the mic echoes right out the box.

I know I’m a bit late, but I had this issue too and all you have to do to fix it is have your Xbox plugged directly into the wall, rather than a power strip. Completely fixed the issue. Hope this helps.

Yeah I don’t really recommend these, I got my first pair a long while back and within a few weeks the mic broke just by the mute button and ended up gluing it back because Microsoft wouldn’t issue me a replacement because it didn’t count as damage but after another phone call and much persuasion I was able to get a replacement and kept it as a back up, glad I did because not long after it broke again right where the ear cup meats the headband. Couple years go by and the backup has finally broken in the same spot and is hanging on by the wires, the turtle beaches I just got as a replacement are better in every way and were about $60 more give or take

@@jiveequation1865 the headset is pretty good, but I highly recommend you to have warranty and register it with Microsoft just to be sure in case the same happened to you. I bought the headset and use for one year and 3 months, didn't have any problem, until one day. I was playing and I went to put the headset on to pair it with the cell phone as I always do. at that moment the headset crashed, the audio started to come out very low and I couldn't hear the game, when I tried to turn it off and on again it didn't turn on anymore. Pretty good headset I love the functionalities, but sad it doesn't work anymore. Hope this could help you. Highly recommend astro a40 or a soundbar

I have these, and if you say it's the best,you apparently played only on phone headphones before. Microphone is terrible,you have to talk very lout so other hear you,the speakers are far to small and uncomfortable,sound is like from a barrel. I had a 30€ headset that was better than this one. Definitely a no from someone who wears them for multiple hours now every day

These headsets are terrible, the chat mixer on mine is lose and I have to push on it every 10 seconds so it doesn’t auto default to the game side

I connected my discord to my Xbox and was on call with my friends, everything was working fine till I dropped my controller and headset now I can't hear discord audio and my friends can't hear me. I can still hear xbox noises. Just not discord,.

@@jiveequation1865 the headset is pretty good, but I highly recommend you to have warranty and register it with Microsoft just to be sure in case the same happened to you. I bought the headset and use for one year and 3 months, didn't have any problem, until one day. I was playing and I went to put the headset on to pair it with the cell phone as I always do. at that moment the headset crashed, the audio started to come out very low and I couldn't hear the game, when I tried to turn it off and on again it didn't turn on anymore. Pretty good headset I love the functionalities, but sad it doesn't work anymore. Hope this could help you. Highly recommend astro a40 or a soundbar

I have these, and if you say it's the best,you apparently played only on phone headphones before. Microphone is terrible,you have to talk very lout so other hear you,the speakers are far to small and uncomfortable,sound is like from a barrel. I had a 30€ headset that was better than this one. Definitely a no from someone who wears them for multiple hours now every day
