North American wolf known as a grey wolf is one of the top predators in North America they are known to target and hunt big prey like bison, Musx Ox etc . The success of wolves is the pack , when pack is solid they turn to be Unstoppable, sometimes single wolf when is hungry chose to risk with bison cub . The technique is to tired the prey and wound until the prey to give up .

At least the Dire "Wolves" aren't around anymore. They would have been an absolute nightmare for grazing prey, predators, livestock guardian dogs and humans today.
To give people an idea, the average dire wolf is bigger than the biggest wolves ever recorded by humans. With heavier bones that are more similar to the heavy livestock dogs.
If direwolves would have survived animals and humans would have evolved to cope with it

@Mark Anthony Yhhh this whole thing about dire wolves being bigger than grey wolves is bs. There are many different sub species of modern grey wolves. The largest one was the kenai wolf that weight about 200 pounds, stood at almost 4ft at the shoulder and was 7ft in length on AVERAGE!!! They were around in the 1900s but humans hunted them to extinction. These guys are literally larger than dire wolves in every single metric...

The white dogs in this video They aren't the real white guardian of Italy,the dogs in the video is the Maremmano Abruzzese not the Abruzzese Shepherd(Abruzzese Mastiff) Those two white dogs are part of the show line of a "created" breed not of the(REAL) working breed
