Adam is such a good interviewer. With so many interviewers it seems like it's them versus the interviewee, whereas Adam makes it seem like a collaboration, and a friendly one at that
agreed, he's brilliant His interview with Conor before the Cerrone fight blew my mind
John Kavanagh’s book is an amazing read.
Got it for my 17th when it came out and it definitely shows how it’s not always been perfect! Trying to get to there was so hard for them all
Didn't know he had one il check it out! Thanks

I could listen to John Kavanagh talk all day.
adam BETTER get a mcgregor interview either pre or post fight. absolute best interviewer in the game!
yhas queen. this guy and the shmo are great to listen to/watch
He got one for the cowboy fight
Ariel is where he is because he was there first. Adam is where he is because he is great at what he does.
The Khabib pool interview where khabib is just making up the rules is one of the greatest mma media moments
Ariel is underrated. Very good interviewer.
John's completely right in that if the top of the 155 division have a tournament they all have wars with each other but when Conor's in there facing them it becomes a quick, fast fight for him.
But why?
They definitely need to do McGregor vs Diaz 3 and at 155 like John said.
They'll do...for the 155 title :)
@@davidninic3190 hopefully that would be great
@@davidninic3190 why would Nate fight for the title?
If Conor loses I think it's the fight to make. Diaz doesn't deserve a title shot.
@@davidninic3190 So McGregor who's ranked number 4 and a guy who's not even ranked for the championship
My favorite part of Conor fight week is the Kavanagh interviews. Love hearing what he has to say.
What an absolute gentleman. Huge fan of Kavanagh. Can’t wait for Saturday!
Loving the UFC content BT Sport!! Keep it coming 😃
John Kavanagh is very articulate and I really enjoy listening to him!
100% he's the tactician behind conor and that steady constant of mcgregor's success. The man's a true Gentleman and an all round Top Bloke 👍
I honestly believe that Conor Mcgregor would not have reached half of his greatness if it wasn’t for John Kavanagh being his head coach.
nah, conor is one of those guys no matter who he trained with he wouldve been special. John kavanagh has said this before, sort of like Ali and angelo dundee. But definitely if John hadn't gone round conor's gaff to get him back into training he'd be a plumber on the sites now
Completely wrong holy hell
Adam catterall is hands down one of the greatest interviewers in sport period, mans like the Oprah of MMA
Love how intently John watches at 36:00 - still learning, still studying that loss
I’m so glad MMA has some fantastic journalists now.
The BT guys are next level
Boxing needs to step tf up. Been overtaken in the span of 5 years. And I say this as a guy who probably prefers boxing
Make an interview with Javier Mendez and John Kavanagh in the same call.
Yea that would be a great interview both phenomenal development coaches!
Great call.
...that would be cool to see. They’re both level headed and intelligent coaches, whom no doubt would show each other respect, and maybe even have some fun banter. Both have been highly complimentary of the other’s fighters
@@Day-ZDuke true though coach Javier said this week he doesn’t particularly care for Conor as a person, don’t need to be a psychologist to see his ego ballooned and he was going into self destruct mode in the build up to the khabib fight! I’m sure he regrets a lot of what was said and done I for one would love to see them go again but with some kind of mutual respect afterwards! As said both coaches promote that above all else
@@Jon3sy1990 yeah he doesn't care for conor as a person but has been massively complimentary of his skill set and unlike most people has always said conor will be khabib toughest fight regardless of the way it went
John's a top man great duo with conor really worth giving his book a read I'm not a reading person and read the book 3 times favourite book of all time
What’s the book called mum ?
@@rowan6207 rowan your fat shut up
I don't rate John his average just the mcgregor connection
@@dannyboy8257 give his book a read brother his story and work ethic is motivating in itself without conor being involved but add the most exciting fighter since Ali and he's a true legend
He's far from a top man. He's actually a snake more than anything
McGregor looking the best he's ever been apparently landed 4 significant strikes on artem lobov in sparring
Well that's a pretty impressive reach considering they're in different countries! ; )
@@brazenlilhussy5975 McGregor with that 74,000,000 inch reach.
@@Ash_Hudson For real man, I always thought the 'tale of the tape' was off by about 73,000,926 (give or take)🤣
Must be a joke. No one can touch the Lord lobov
Yeh but remember that’s apparently no video no proof
I’m going to be so scared when Conor walks out
Probably not as scared as his rape victims tbf.
@@dylangallagher143 I dont like him but those cases were a buncha bullshit
@@dylangallagher143 look into the court docs and the actual “charges” lmao there’s a reason he was never formally charged
Don't worry. The UFC has been rigging fights for him for years, so look for them to recycle their original game plan with Connor... lots of spectacular 1st round finishes to rebuild his brand. Nate, Khabib, and Mayweather were the only ones to refuse to take a dive. Dustin will follow Cowboy's que and take another dive for the sake of the Connor Hype Train 2.0
@@dylangallagher143 Dumbass
I hope the BT sport MMA guys are getting a pay rise for this last year's efforts.
Adam made me feel like I was part of this conversation. Notice how I didnt say "interview"
Kavanagh seems like a genuine guy who can bring mcgregor down to earth
Phenomenal interview. One of the top MMA coaches and BT do an immense job, and have done throughout Jan, across all the fights.
Great interview, Adams fast becoming one of my favourites, great at getting the info and answers we all want to hear, top man 👍🏼
Aldo vs mendes: war Porier vs alvarez: war Conor vs aldo: 13 sec Conor vs mendes: 2nd round ko Conor vs porier: 1:45 min Conor vs alvarez: 2nd round ko Conor is on another level
Happy birthday John Kavanagh!
Love listening to the coaches more than the fighter more often than not, so much knowledge and insight into the sport
43:56 Looks like we've got a BT Conor interview coming as well, bois.
They are interviewing the other lightweights that are fighting on the main and co-main events too
@@J_dnnn Yeah, doing a press conference with all four of them on Thursday. It's gonna be lit, man.

John has to be the coolest man on the planet absolutely love him fair play Adam for nailing this interview
Awesome content!!! Thanks BT Sport & Adam!
World class interview here! Watched the whole thing through and thought only 10 min passed, 51 min!
Best interview, what a great idea to get a first hand ringside account from the coach himself!
always nice to hear from john. somehow hearing him talk really humanizes conor. brilliant interview
McGregor the kind of guy to promote proper 12 at 11
Nah g that’s not the one
this was very cool/interesting. nice job adam and BT sports.
Could listen to john chat for hrs on end. One of the most genuine dudes around, bumped into him in aldi not long before the aldo fight, buying some groceries, john and his partner were ahead of me in the queue, said i was sorry to disturb in while with his partner, quickly shot that down and proceeded to have a conversation about things. Very few nowadays are interested in fans, john is the complete opposite
Great interview. Fun conversation to be had, about Conor. Love John K. Very professional. An expert in fighting. Very nice and humble person as well which is everything.
Good Interview 😁👍 Good interviewer and John is always a good Interview.. Looking forward to Mcgregor Poirier 2 👊
Love Adam and love John! Great interview :)

This interview should be on the UFC site
I really like this man, he's very analytical and doesn't get carried away one way or the other. I can really relate to that mindset/personality trait.
Absolutely brilliant interview.
Best Kavanagh interview iv ever seen
This is gonna be goooood 👊

@Vengeful Fury he’s in your head rent free isn’t he
Interesting indeed. He's actually a bigger snake than TJ Will ditch his other fighters mid camp if McGregor rings him. Seems like snakery to me
Adams a brilliant interviewer.
Always the best interviews with this guy
Great interview
16:36 Big John & Joe's reaction says it all
Always liked conors bow to dustin after the fight, he comes back down and shows self awareness after most fights the khabib one being the exception.
LOVE YOUR STUFF ADAM
Best sports interviewer
I really enjoyed every second of it👍👍👍
Conor can make heroes look like lost boys in the octagon. I feel for the guys on the other side of the highlight reel. It is nice to see Conor maturing because he is such a funny guy and very much pretty GOAT in many ways
Awesome interview
49 seconds Conor KOs Dustin.
Proper 12 seconds
@@veebee69 imagine
Noway 3rd round i think.
Not making past the first round. Dustin always looks like a bus ran over him after his fights. Conors power will just end it. He can't afford to leave himself open like he normally does. If I was Dustin I would try and take it to the ground.
@@ttadgh yeah I agree. Not only that but he’s also a slow starter which is perfect for Conor.
Any time stamps please?
Top interview between 2 top men
Good interview from both sides.
32:36 Coach K talking on the Khabib debacle
Can somebody tell me the name of the documentry about MayMac fight in which boxing journalists, Dana and other UFC people are talking about Conor's journey up to the Boxing Ring🙏🙏
The way the vein on his forehead comes and goes LOL
His holding in a fart
why did Adam Catterall pronounce "simultaneous" wrong at 17:30?
Best class coach in the game!
khabib and john really saved conor from a dark place
I think khabib put Conor in a dark place though, Conor literally obsesses about khabib. He has so much delusion in regards of him, the meme of khabib living in conors head rent free must be getting to Conor. It’s embarrassing
To be honest Khabib really haunts Conor, He is so deluded when it come to Khabib, He needs to let him go for his own well being
the Aldo confrontation after the Siver fight was epic, he did the Muhammad Ali face lol
Do they reply?
this was fantastic
Great interview 👏

Lovely stuff
6:52 a very smart move by poirier to avoid connor's powerful kicks.
Who’s here for the premier?
Yo mama
I think Diaz 2 was the biggest fight of Conor's career. Even if he lost he would still be the 145 champ, but that was a make or break fight. He's either as good as he said he was, or he wasn't. It was well hell of a fight. It's crazy to me to think that fight was 4 years ago.
Is Adam getting a blowie under the table? Never seen him so absolutely delighted and giddy. Great interview as always. Must be getting that 6 star Abu Dhabi service ;)
So good

Thank god the interview took off the hoops on his ears lol
