@trippiedev9069 This film takes place some 100+ years after the last film (from what I've heard) ... So no, I doubt Ceasers son is in this...though his descendants (great grandchildren) likely are. (I think it might even be Noa, but I'm not certain)

For the people who believe Nova is an astronaut because of her clothes, I guess this clip confirms she didn't come into this universe with that outfit. An ape felt pity on her and gave her the shirt we see her wearing throughout the trailer.

This scene is very important to see as it's the first indication we've had at all that Noa doesn't just start programmed as the altruistic open-minded racial-equality hero he's hyped up as in all the other trailers and clips. This is very good, a lot more authentic and believable. When isolationist peoples meet they're rarely warm and open straight away, it has to build up.

The Animation In Raka And Noa’s Mouths Are Upgraded The CG Motion Capture Is Enhanced So Much
I really like how Noa is being portrayed so far. Noa is obviously wary and maybe even cold towards her at the start but he can be kind since he decided the blanket to be given to her despite holding importance to him. He hasn't interacted or grew up with humans the way Ceasar did. Raka seems to advise him in the right direction like Maurice did to Ceasar, im excited to find out how exactly he found out about the history of the world 300 years ago. But they both have yet to accept her fully as an equal since they name her, throw food, and a blanket at her they way we would to a stray animal lol So hyped for this movie, the reboot trilogy still holds a special place in my heart, such good movies ❤ Also can some translate what Noa signed (i think that's what he did) after Maurice says "she is smarter than most"

I’m not sure, I get the feeling based on the trailer that Noa and Nova’s tribes were neighbors, there may have been the occasional interaction but no real integration. I also think this is the first film to showcase how the apes began enslaving humans.

If it's going up against Dune 2, it may not win, just as 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' lost out to 'Hugo' in 2011, 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' lost out to 'Interstellar' in 2014, and 'War for the Planet of the Apes' lost out to 'Blade Runner 2049' in 2017. Those other Planet of the Apes movies were deserving, of course, but they went up against other movies that were just as deserving.
My theory is that Mae is one of the astronauts who was lost in space during the events of the rise of planet of the Apes who got pushed forward through time and crashed landed in the kingdom of planet of the apes timeline.

Noa is no different than Caesar . But he will one day understand what Caesar stood for and how he lead the apes to freedom and learning how humans are different than apes .
