To show such powerful emotion through all that makeup and appliances without one line of dialogue is the mark of a truly great actor. One of Roddy McDowell's finest moments in the Apes series if not his entire filmography.
I agree. It seems, in my opinion, everyone talks about Charlton Heston in the first two; don't get me wrong, Charlton Heston is great, but hardly anyone talks about Roddy McDowall's performance in all of them. He's an amazing actor and should be given more credit for these movies, especially since he's been on Broadway and has done Shakespeare plays.
@@emilyglass5313 Bu bir yetenek ve tecrübe yarışı dostum her ikisinde adından bahsettiemek için rekabete girişimisler başarılı da olmuşlar
@@emilyglass5313 Heston is great in the first Planet of the Apes, but the rest of the films were carried by Kim Hunter and Roddy McDowell; they performed in ape costume unlike anybody.
The Motion Picture Academy (Oscars) literally made up the best makeup award for the first planet of the apes movie because they saw just how good that makeup was
Not just one emotion, regret, loss, despair, anger, fear. All through the eyes.
Probably the only human being he ever really cared about and loved big time! 'Ricardo Montalban'
I swear I just heard him yell: “KHAAAAAAAAAAAN!”
Very powerful scene I remember.
Roddy McDowall !
Que gran actor ...
This movie is really good
The Wrath for Khan
The Wrath of Ceaser lol
Cette scène est magnifique, et j'adore Roddy McDowall, un comédien exceptionnel.

Ceasar apears in the 4th movie of the original saga. They are really not the same story :)
Cornelius is Caesar's father. They're both played by Roddy McDowell
