I'm amazed that Nadya is still alive. When she was in jail, she went missing for a month "between transfers" after going on a hunger strike to protest abuses in the prison. Many people believed she was killed but thankfully wasn't when she remerged at a prison hospital. God only knows what she endured during that time. A brave woman.

She was recalling (eyes up and to the left) when she came across the guards being able to do what ever they want. She stopped flitting between recall and speaking to the camera, she shut down her response in a pattern inconsistent with her speech pattern, and her face started twitching a.k.a a tic (there is no K by the way). You can repress traumatic stress but it will come out in other ways. At least one of the ways hers comes out is a facial tic -- there are other explanations such as tourette's -- but those other explanations are also associated with triggers which leads us back to the recall about the guards doing whatever they want.
