Gary ‘without a shadow of a doubt’ Neville
At this moment in time
To be fair
Right....
Sort of, if you like
Whereby
Geoff Shreeves definitely drives in the bus lane.
😂 what does this mean? Apart from the fact that he drives in the bus lane
@@crapheap12 I think you know
Lol, that confirms my answer 😅
This is very good. I like Gary the Football pundit and KZheadr but enjoyed getting to know another side to him and as we all know, our love for certain music and musicians tells a lot about us and where we come from… Well Done Geoff!
This lad Neville is becoming my favourite punter
Overlap going crazy with the uploads

So to me
I'm glad Gary mentioned the mobile phone disease. That's exactly why I don't go to gigs anymore! 😵
you only really get it for the top top artists, or ones popular by tik tok
@@EuanM20X it's EVERY gig!
@@andypalin3287I saw the smile the other day and there were very few phones for most of the gig. Just people taking a few photos here and there but didn’t see anyone recording videos for long or anything. It really does depend on which gigs you go to in my experience.
@@andypalin3287nope
Don't let that stop you enjoying yourself.
This is a winner. Please more of these . Music and football are my life and i don't think i'm alone
Can't believe Gary Neville showed up somewhere other than the Gary Neville podcast
😂😂😂
He had another meeting at 1215 you should be grateful.
🤣🤣🤣
Its prob his podcast. and he booked himself 🤣
@@Boxleft24 Pretty sure his company produce it
Thanks Geoff
Cheers Geoff
Criminal not to mention The Smiths in his list of 80s Manchester bands.
He probably doesn't like Morrissey's political views
Morrissey? He's a traditional socialist. Played the red wedge gig.
@@gart9680 yea i was talking about the fact he’s been branded a nationalist and racist and right wing the the past few years.
I know! He never seems to mention them. A better interviewer would have asked him.
I love watching these vids of Gary "This is Manchester United" Neville...
This series will be great! Music is BY FAR my biggest interest/hobby/whatever, with football a clear second. Can’t wait for this to roll on.😊
If there's anyone that you need to listen to musically, it's Prince. The man was a pure genius, he could do it all.
A wonderful lecture on Music by Professor G. Neville
How convient to release this after announcing a DJ set at a festival, ultimate PR
FYI B2B means back to back. As in 2 DJs going back to back with each other playing one song at a time.
This is the one is iconic What an atmospheric track and it belongs at Old Trafford for ever. Great work Gary you legend
This will be a good show, my two greatest loves, football and music
Gary Neville reunion with his old friends has got to be on the cards because great listening to their stories 🤔
Did he come to Knebworth to see liam a couple of years ago? Or in 96,? 2 of the best gigs I've ever been to. Great interview 👍
Loved this lads looking forward to the next one 👍
I remember when James played live live on the top of picadilli radio building in Manchester. Early 90,s was awesome 👌
This is great premise as it shows another side to sporting heroes
Born in the USA and An Innocent Man. Two marvellous albums.
Perfect show for me! Cant wait for the rest of the series
Always nice to see Gary Neville on the football , music and me podcast
I remember being soaking wet in Rotterdam singing along to James and doing an all nighter in Belgium on the way home....as for 99 I was reported missing 😊 had an all weeker. 1 night wasn't enough ❤ up the paddock
Someone should tell Geoff Shreeves that interrupting your guest every 2 minutes doesn't make for a good podcast.
Cheers Geoff
In this moment of time Gary Neville is a beautiful arpeggio player
LEGEND gary.
ah tbf to him, Geoff Shreves is iconic amongst a certain era
He's a tough cookie
Lovely to see Geoff back!
The Boss is a legend and so are you.
Gary 'keep doing things' Neville
Brilliant, great. podcast gents some humour/Laughter serious talk keep up the great work as always. 👌👍💪#GLAZERS OUT # MUFC WILL RISE AGAIN. 💯💪
The only Gigs you saw was Ryan 🤣 🤣
A) it's not funny b) he messed up the set up joke
I’ve really enjoyed Gary Neville’s KZhead content for what would be the last 12 to 18 months…
Cheers Geoff.
Superstations in sports is insane and we all have it!
Nice one Geoff, good to see you online and with Gary
This reminds me of Mark in Peep Show answering The Beatles (or in this case James) to every music question
My home town what a tune
Still time to be a rockstar Gary, Cantona has released a new single
Great to see Gary neville on the football music and me podcast
Gary "If you like" Neville
Why are they conducting the interview across an air-hockey table..?? 🤷🏼🧐👍🏻
I want Jon Moss as the next guest, just because his record store is called The Vinyl Whistle
35:10 Eric "the king" cantona was on singing a song on the tv a few weeks back 😂 was good to be fair
Gary "To be fair" Neville
I normally watch everything Neville related but this is a struggle!
This is Nevilles World, don't fight it.
Just what KZhead needs. More GNev content 😂
YES! It was always better with the focus on Gary, even going back to the original MNF. I enjoy Carragher and Keane obviously but there's so many other voices in the mix nowadays. You could even take the music aspect out and just talk football and this would be perfect.
just imagining your bedroom with a shrine to Neville in the middle. The Neville be with you...
better than a churches shrine@@jbri1
Gary, any chance you could wear white underpants every time United are playing now? Maybe Jim Ryan wasn't wrong 😂 21:00
cheers geoff
"Gary RIGHT Neville." 👏👌
Couldn’t agree more about James - they transcend genres and styles. There’s a deep spiritual thing going on in their gigs, and Tim’s dancing is totally in the moment. “Sometimes” is the most moving, uplifting tune… absolutely amazing.
Top band mate
Serious question, how does G. Nev find the time for all these podcasts and for all the other things ? Man doesn't sleep, doesn't get any rest ?
In his interview on Diary of a CEO, he revealed he collapsed and had a fit during the last Euros. He was hospitalized and told he needed to slow down. Doesn't seem like he has!
we want Roy & Wrighty!
National hero
Sort of like, what I like to call
Gary 'where it be sort of if you like' Neville
Gary "D'Know something" Neville
Rock music doesn’t exist anymore though. Died somewhere in the 2000s. Maybe the strokes were the last.
Arctic monkeys probably , but depeche mode are still going strong in the mainstream if you count them as Rock , they were inducted into the hall of fame
@@vertigo10yearsago25 they’re old though. There’s nothing new, there aren’t any “scenes”
@@RoadTripperrr but your original point is that where’s no no more new rock music, not that there weren’t any new bands , and there are , they just aren’t anywhere near the mainstream
I'll always associate "Sit Down" by James with the 1991 Cup Winners Cup final win against Barcelona in Rotterdam.
20:49 not too hot at maths there GNev.
I love a good lead guitarist. Edge is a crazy choice 😂😂😂
"I suppose I've created an atmosphere where I'm a football pundit first and a business owner second. Probably an entertainer third."
"Sit Down" started at Rotterdam after the 91 ECWCF against Barca.
I’m so happy Gary picked football
Gary 'if you like' Neville
No mentions of The Neville Brothers
Need to get Scotty Arfield on. Lead singer in a band until he had to choose between football and music. Still plays guitar now and sings. He’s superb!
Gary “do you know something” Neville
Bruse Springsteen plays a great a great set mate, after 2hours I had to leave talk about bored, jesus😂😂
im so proud of mainoo we need to keep him calm and away from silly headlines. his talent will shine as long as the english media dont ruin him and make him think hes the next pele or zidane
England stole ours N. Ireland! Sweet Caroline been signing for 20 years now england has sulled it for us!
NI "stole" it from Boston Red Sox
@@stuartsaint4581 you seriously thunk NI seen a baseball match to steal it?
I remember about 20 of us when apprentices having a vote on what you'd rather be rock star or footballer,100% footballer, even from people not interested in football. Funny story was one lad telling his best mate that he lost his virginity while match of the day was on,cue an hour later as he walked through the workshop a chorus of de de Der de de- theme tune to motd, ruthless humour 😂😂😂😅
The Edge. Noel Gallagher. But not Johnny Marr??? Come on Gary!! 😂❤ Music over football all day long for me.
Get Giggsy on!
❤
People record on there phoned because it's the only time they will get to go because they can't afford it but Gary goes every weekend and complains about the people trying to capture every moment they can 😊
B2B means back to back Jeff
Am I the only person that thinks Geoff has a resemblance to Gary Pallister 🤔
That fanfare the teams walked out to was fantastic, wasnt rocky like at all it was more a roman gladiatorial tune trumpets blasting, made the hairs on your neck stsnd up
Indeed it was. More like a fanfare - however, The Roses all day for me.
Gnev certainly helps the wealthy community in Manchester I'm not so sure anyone helps us poor ones 🤣🤣🤣. He is a good ambassador tho 👍
Its surprising to hear people talk about music with importance these days, football definitely sweeped music a side in the last 20 years, especially Rock N Roll, which has fizzled out almost entirely.
Still wish De Gea had changed the entrance music to "Die by the Sword" by Slayer
It was the theme to gladiator pre Stone Roses not a rocky song. They also had list for life for a few seasons
And basketball players want to be rappers and rappers want to be basketballers
A Manc complaining about Scousers nicking their music is the definition of irony
He isn’t a Manc he’s from Bury. It’s like saying someone from Warrington is a scouser.
@@g006366161he’s supporting the mancs in this argument though…so he is a manc.
what music did Mancs steal from Liverpool?
Yes Gary, speak to Keith Richards, see how that theory works out.
Bruce Springsteen lasting 3-4 generations? How old is he…150? 😂
Manchester United took our song - The Blaydon Races. Something about Sir Matt Busby Way.
Charlatans are class
Not G-Dog B2B, B2B means back to back or back 2 back. As in two djs playing together.
Is it me or is that table a little bit on the long side?
Reckon they may have a couple of guests on the bench at once down the line and then it makes more sense.
@@simonfellows2565 a good point well made. I would of thought they could afford two tables for each occasion.
