6:25. The moment this awesome engineer realised his original plan would leave this axle a full inch shorter.
Wrong at so many levels, welding high carbon steels is likely to cause internal stresses and brittle/annealed areas that will make it more prone to re-cracking. Might be ok for a while until you find a replacement part.
