-Tried V in bloody palace for first time -Have absolutely no experience outside human difficulty missions -“might aswell try” I told myself -got to stage 60 while blasting this banger
Literally a skill gap at that point, here's my experience. Vergil/v are both the easiest to hit lvl 100. V if u want to play it safe and vergil to speedrun Nero is kinda hard with certain bosses cause of his setup but not too bad Dante is legit the hardest, for me it's his combos bro, it took me too long to figure them out, and what's the most reliable source of dmg
Best DMC characters: 10. The Omega 9. Nelo Angelo 8. Urizen 7. The Mysterious One 6. V 5. Dante's Brother 4. Nero's Father 3. The Black Angel 2. The Alpha 1. Vergil

The more I listen to this song, the more it grows on me. At first it seems like just a typical emo song... and it kind of is, but as all emo songs are, it conveys a difficult situation (you can hear sobbing if you listen closely) by just... screaming about darkness, shadow and other shit like that. I love V. I started my adventure with DMC cuz of memes. I hope someone with his fighting style or he himself will be included in future games.
If you like puppet characters, there is a few of them in fighting games. Like zato-1 In guilty gear.
On the topic of "puppet fighters," it's reasonably popular as a character concept in both LoL and Dota... though you'll have to play LoL or Dots to experience them. Orianna in LoL is a defensively weak spellcaster who fights using a magic clockwork beach ball. All her spells originate from the ball and/or throw the ball around, and if you get more than a medium distance away it teleports back to you. Playing her generally means trying to keep your body safe while still being close enough to hit enemies from unexpected angles with the ball! Yorick from LoL is a bulky melee fighter who summons weak ghouls, but he also can summon "The Maiden" who's a spooky ghost that ALSO summons weak ghouls. Your summons aren't directly controlled and you only influence what they do, so playing Yorick is about shepherding the minions to all hit at the perfect time. Lone Druid in Dota is basically two characters at once: a guy that throws sickles and his pet bear. Arc Warden is one character that creates a short-lived identical copy of himself. Meepo is five identical mediocre characters that can teleport to themselves but if one dies they all die. These don't really count IMO. Visage from Dota counts! He's a gargoyle mage that summons two small, speedy, flying gargoyles. Playing him involves cycling between the hero and his "birds;" sometimes using them all at once to stunlock & shred a single enemy, sometimes splitting up to scout more of the map at once, and each of them has their own "meters" you need to manage to keep them in fighting condition. A lot of fun if you pull it off! I still don't recommend LoL or Dota though, they're fun games but something about highly-competitive 5v5 matches that last 30-70 minutes on average just brings out the WORST in people.
