The reason this fight looks so good is because you're watching real, trained, professional stuntmen go at each other. Animators can only do so much, which is why they hire the best people to come in and perform it for real. It helps the animators dial in little nuances like body motion, gravity & mass, inertia etc. All those things need to be perfect otherwise your brain yells out "something ain't right"
Yeah, their movements are way too coordinated to be tweened or even frame by frame animated. It is super clever and I cannot tell which stuntman did better.

All these years later and that opening cinematic is still my benchmark on how a Batman movie should be. The mood, the atmosphere, and especially the fight sequence has not even been remotely matched in film or otherwise since. The fact that those behind that sequence never got a chance for a full movie, even one based on the games premise, is the entertainment version of a capitol crime.

It's really painful seeing people hating this game. Ever since I bought it, I loved it! It makes sense for the voices to change since this is when everyone was clearly younger and I liked the voices. Gameplay was alright but kinda upset we didn't get actual new gear. The story was pretty cool too. Hopefully this game will get more recognition

That you should leave the creativity to the creators
Because these guys are real DC, Batman and Deathstroke fans. The live action producers are just punks who take these incredible characters because they know fans are around the world and will watch it, so they do a cash grab instead.
Easy, the wrong perspective, they cast actors who are hot and popular instead of actors who could be prepared for the scenes to recreate, so half the budget and time goes into training the actors to it. And then the actual movie recording. The creativity is to the creators , the design should go to the designers, they should learn to give the money without controlling something they know nothing about
Well WB is just stupid, instead of hiring a real martial artist they hire someone whose famous and looks good (Ben Affleck). Not that I have a problem with Affleck but his fight scenes aren’t that great

This fight choreography (with the ambiance, music, scene, stunts etc) is succesfully giving it's message that this is not a regular Bats - villain fight, here Batman tries to only survive and save his very own life. A truly living fight and one of the best i have ever seen.

This is one of the few boss fights that I would purposefully not win just so that I can enjoy the combat animation longer.
7:01-7:04 the way Roger Craig Smith delivered that line was perfect. It really did a good job of portraying how badly Bruce wanted to not only beat down Deathstroke, but was also tired of having to go through assassin after assassin just to get to Black Mask.
I work in an intermodal yard and it pleases me to see that the animators of this cutscene did their research into shipping container codes. Units going through a major shipping system are identified by a ten-digit code consisting of four letters and six numbers, and @2:05 we see the container behind them is SCXU 920165. They even took it a step further and followed industry convention- containers usually have their initials end in U, while chassis and normal truck trailers (sometimes called 'vans') generally end in Z. A trifling detail to be sure, but I do appreciate it.

Mainly because DC villains are humanized, whereas the heroes are supposed to seem like gods among men. With Marvel it's the opposite, most, if not all, the heroes are humanized, while the villains are straight up generic, "I'll get you next time" villains.

This fight scene is one of the best for many reasons. Batman breaking Deathstrokes’s sword, deadshot appearing out of nowhere. The whole fight has potential to be the best fight scene ever.

However, considering Ben himself left the character because of his alcoholism and divorce which I respect, I'm eager to see Roberts'Batman. The first flick has Riddler and Penguin which I love, tired of the same Joker/two face stories. Next on Robert's sequel, we'd definitely see more classic Batman villains. Deathstroke, Black Mask, can't wait. Robert could be perfect, he's young and has lots of time to take the character and have multiple movies, let's hope Matt keeps going.

I legit thought I was watching a live action skit at first.
The fight is great, but my only complaint is Deathstroke gets nerfed too much when he appears as a Batman villain. Deathstroke is not a street leveler at all. He's actually a mid-tierer who can hold his own against the entire Teen Titan(Deathstroke debuted as a Batman villain.). He's 10x strong than Batman and his armors and weapons are far superior to Batman's. But when he appears as a Batman villain, he almost never demonstrates his superhuman physiques and his ridiculously powerful weaponery.
That's in games and movies. In comics every time he and Batman fight Deathstroke always kicks Batman's ass

Batman and Deathstroke is always a fun one. I love when Batman haters say Deathstroke would destroy Batman, when Batman has beaten the likes of Darkseid. Now if Batman is in his regular suit, sure Deathstroke is stronger and quicker thanks to being a literal lab experiment and can process things more quickly that’s how he was able to beat the Flash, Deathstroke also said Batman punches harder than some metahumans so Batman is hardly human in the sense of how we categorize humans, Batman is not just a man he is THE MAN. But put Batman in the Hellbat or a situation where Batman has time to prep and Slade isn’t even in his class.
